she looks nice but luckily not a must have, she'll be put in wishlist for a while, GenX 2will be my last big purchase for a while, found out On Sunday when stopping at my job for coffee that the store was closing for good that same day, but luckily I got to help clean and pack up yesterday to at least get an extra days pay, on the bright side I have more free time to play with my purchases,

I have mixed feelings. The S5 pro bundle was one of my best purchases, and the S5 morphs were some of the ones I used most for Genesis. But this pro bundle feels a bit lacking. The figure is nice, the extra characters are nice...but there doesn't seem to be any hair or outfits that scream at me to buy the pro bundle. I like to buy pro bundles because they feel like an awesome value, you get tons of great stuff to add a lot of variety to your runtime; and where the G2F library is still pretty young, I think DAZ missed a great opportunity to throw some new and unique outfits our way. It looks like this just gives us a long dress, a short dress, and some springwear... :(

Of course, I tend to do fantasy and sci-fi renders, so modern clothes don't catch my interest as much. YMMV.

I bought the Olympia 6 Pro Bundle when it came out lot of great fantasy stuff there, as for Steph 6 yes she is quite nice but like you I'm thinking maybe later buy ans she is cute do quite like or should I say love the character LY Tess from Lyoness including her hair and that outfit she has on in the main picture but she isn;t in the bundles to tempt me further though you need Stephanie 6 to use her pity that. The new hairs ain't bad as is the seperate download 3DS Real Woman Stephanie 6 Bodies but I can get thouse bodies or close to them with my Vicky 6 HD and Olympia 6 characters, could do with more unique poses and expressions, she's a good start

    Stephanie 6 HD???

I bought LY Tess for Stephanie 6 along with the Pro bundle. I notice in the folder with body morphs, she has a "Stephanie 6 HD Details Apply" shape preset. I tried it, but could not really see it did anything in the view port. It is listed on the product page.

What is this preset doing? Is this applying Victoria 6 HD morphs or is it just doing nothing until the Stephanie 6 HD product is released?

I bought her right away :-)

Imho, she looks better than Gia and Olympia together. But thats just my opinion and everyones taste is different.

But there is one thing that I do not like about all the new Generation 6 figures - the female ones. And that is their faces.
Have a look at Victoria 6, Gia 6, Olympia 6 and now Stefanie 6. While their bodies are very different in shape, size and details, they all have pretty much the same face. And that is a bit weak. But thats also just my opinion.
All in all, Stephanie 6 is a great figure and I will use her a lot.

I don't own The Girl , and the lighting and render quality is rather lousy, but here you go. All characters are in default load mode:
G2F base, Vic 6 HD, regular Vic 6, Josie 6, Steph 6, Gia 6, Olympia 6 HD, regular Olympia 6

They went overboard with the tan. Hate it. She looks African American, which is fine, IF she is supposed to be African American, but being so dark means a lot of surface tweaking so other characters won't be washed out when you're trying to light up Stephanie. It really makes it harder to put her in a scene close to someone and see the same details. She looks too much like Gia in the face. I bought the pro bundle for the hair and outfits, and the extra 10% off, but am not wowed with S6.

Luckily you can use any Generation 6 skin on her. Most of the time I use the standard G2F skin (Bree) because it is the one that fits my needs and style. All the other skins are too much fiddling with all that SSS stuff and everything else :-)

Yes, I knew that :) but I was just thinking "out of the box." Thanks for the clarification though! It does give the option of having a very, very suntanned individual at your fingertips. Like, NEVER comes out of the sun...the Miami sun.

Strange, she doesn't look that dark in any of the promos. For now I'll blame the lighting. lol

I think Madeline is the light skinned version of Stephanie 6. Of the S6 characters Madeline is the only one I found other the S6 herself that uses the S6 UVs.

What is up with the specific UV sets for these new "named" morphs for Gen 6? It's one of the things that makes me think twice about investing in these.>:-(

I like Steph 6. Bought the pro bundle. The only Pro bundles I have yet to buy were david 5 and Olympia 6, she had too much skimp. I like Steph's bundle because it has normal clothes!! Nothing too skimpy.

I haven't purchased S6 yet was waiting to see what else was released, but.. if you buy S6 pro bundle right away do you still get the extra discounts on what is released tomorrow or in order to get the 40% or 50% on various items do they all have to be in cart at the same time?

And in that case if I buy the pro bundle today and other new stuff comes out tomorrow with the buy S6 bundle get 40 or 50% off you can't and some of the items showing in the promos haven't been released yet. It would be nice if it was all released on the same day so you can get the extra discounts on all the items at once. I guess one can always buy what they want today for extra discounts and if more stuff comes out tomorrow with extra discounts for buying the bundle, return what you bought today and buy it all again tomorrow?

Well, Olympia 6 is a knockout regardless of the clothing, but this one also looks very nice. I'll probably get her.

And all the clothing should be mostly interchangeable for Genesis 2 anyway, yes? I've seen Michael 6 wearing quite a few Genesis 2 female outfits, so I would think the more pro bundles you get, your clothing options go up exponentially.

If you have bought the Pro bundle, you will receive the higher discount without another Pro-Bundle purchase. I have tested it this morning, as I was curious, and fortunately for DAZ, even if it's not stated in the sales conditions, it still works. :-)

That's good to know, thank you, I was curious because it does state *all items must be in cart at the same time for discount to apply*

Yes, that was what threw me off, too. I thought "This can't be right, what about people who already purchased the Pro Bundle?". So I put things into the cart, and it took the higher reduction off the price.
I think, the "simultaniously in cart" is only calid for the new purchase cariation.

It allows the texture to be most correct for the shape. No stretching, everything lined up perfectly. No reason for that to stop you, after all that doesn't mean the other texture sets won't work with this morph, just that this UV set is optimized for this shape.

What a pity that there is no African preset for her, this skin is the darkest default one for I figure so far. The face is rather disappointing for me, but I do hope other people will benefit from it anyway.

Well, I second that. The starter has nothing of interest for me. The two haircuts from the pro bundle are okay, but nothing extraordinary. I'm interested in Sickleyield's dryad morph pack, the Hindu-like lady and her poses (maybe jewellery if the price is below $6, otherwise I'll just try to fit Valea's ones). Oh, not to forget about Aave Nainen's sets (I view each of the items with real curiosity because of the awesomeness of posing helpers) and Isolabella Dress because of the poses included, long gowns are always difficult to handle with sitting poses and not everybody includes a lot of handle bones.

What's strange is that even Josie is taller than Stephanie. After all, Stephanie is supposed to be older, isn't she?

This is how it is supposed to work. We would never want to 'burn' those who purchased Stephanie 6 Pro on opening day by excluding them from a "buy Stephanie 6 Pro, get x discount sale' the very next day.

The phrase "All items must be in cart" is for those who haven't purchased her yet as we essentially built a segment of people who purchased the Pro Bundle at midnight yesterday. So if you bought the pro bundle today you wouldn't be in that segment until we updated it. That would mean depending on the time you purchased the new release, you may or may not get the discount.

We are updating the verbage on the Sales and Promo to clarify.

i'm at a standstill buying Stephanie bundle without at least one Luxus supporting skin preset :(

it's my 50th birthday Thursday, i need to treat myself to something nice :)

I don't use Luxus, but I do use Reality 2.5 which uses the lux renderer. This is Steph6 and Ginger, with no changes to surfaces. I also attached an image showing what settings I used in Lux.
Also used Agfachrome rsx2 200 and changed mesh light to Red: 209 Green: 178 Blue: 162 Hue: 20 Sat: 57 Val: 209

You know, there really are teen girls who are taller than some adult women, which I think is the point. Josie is a tall teen, while Steph is a petite woman. To swap them would take away the very kind of variety having these different shapes are supposed to provide.

No, not just you. I make Josie a little shorter, and also shrink her head a few percentage points, her head seems bigger than it ought to be by default. I haven't tried S6 yet, trying to figure out if I need the base or a bundle.

Hmmm, I should have said proportions or scale, rather than height. If you look at the picture I referenced (http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/36666/P60/#548991), Steph just looks unnaturally small compared to Josie (as if Steph was an incorrectly re-scaled Vicky). Anyway, it's just in that picture - I haven't gotten around to comparing the two on my own yet.

Glad it's not just me. I just loaded a default Josie next to a default Steph and yeah, Josie's a bit too big - it's really her head that throws it off. I get the point of her head being proportionally large since she's younger, but heads don't shrink as you age. By default, Josie's head is much bigger than Steph's and a touch wider than Vicky's. Josie's proportions don't seem to match the rest of the lineup.

Now that I get. Steph actually looks like a rather tall little person instead of a petite average sized one. And yeah, Josie's head does have a bit of a bobblehead look to her sometimes.

Of course I should not have said that about Josie, teenagers are sensitive. To paraphrase Stuart Mackenzie, “I went out of bounds there, she’ll be crying herself to sleep tonight on her huge pillow!”
