    I'm new to DAZ and the PC and need some help.

    I got the email about Olympia being in MM, but I'm not seeing any discount. I've put her and the Viking Village in the cart - no discount, her and a different MM item - no discount. Logged in and got the the 30% PC discount.

    Am I missing something?

    I've got the Viking Village as well. Seems like an all-around must-have.

    Thank you for the Viking village renders. It looked so good I bought it yesterday. But what I don't see is how today's attempt to buy two MM items reflects 50% off plus another 10% for the village. Am I not understanding something?

    Natural Patchwork is no longer a "madness" item, so it is only 30% off and doesn't bump the other to 50%.

    However, you are right that you are not getting the 10% for the village bundle.

    Yep - it was only the "Stephanie Pro" package that only enabled MM additional 10% disc.

    I'm still seeing the Olympia Pro bundle showing only the Platinum Club discount of 30% off. None of the MM pricing or discounts seem to apply.

    I haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere, but the Dystopian Console Station is currently both free and a March Madness item, which means that you can get any MM product for 50% off if you put this in your cart too. ;-P

    Sweet! I'm in the PC so I got 30% off the top, then dropped the $0 Dystopia Command console into the cart for my second item to bring the total discount to 65% before the extra 10% off from the viking bundle kicked in taking it to 68.5% off. Then I paid with my $6 PC coupon (from an annual membership I bought for less than $30) and the Gift Certificates I bought at 10% off, so my effective price for the Olympia Pro set works out to being just a little north of 30 bucks, or about $2 an item. Not too shabby.

    Of course, there's still another 27-ish days of March Madness to go. Yikes.

    That's pretty much what I did, except with the Viking Village instead of the Dystopian Console. :) And definitely not too shabby, but I wish I'd been able to build up a punch-card first, as it would have helped even more.

    But yeah, I've spent 1/3rd of my allocated funds and it's the 4th of the month. I'm just scrod.

    I finally started playing with the viking village, but it took forever to figure out how to match the lighting of the image on the skydome. In the end, I think I finally got it with one directional light, one advanced atmospheric and an Atmospheric camera with just a hint of haze, but you be the judge. Anyone see any obvious errors here?

    edit - Duh. I finally figured out what was driving me crazy : the image on the skydome isn't an actual 360 degree image, so as you continue to pan/rotate the camera, the positions of the shadows on the backdrop end up facing in the exact opposite direction.

    I wonder if you could use one of the mountainous skyboxes from the easy environments series instead of the included backdrop. Would that solve the lighting issue?

    This actually isn't a lit dome. It's just a prop dome w/ a texture. The set doesn't actually have lights and you have to create your own.

    I used dimension Theory light set with it it works great , I also used the fog came that is included in the viking village set.
    I'm a little disappointed that V6 base hasn't been on sale with all the great v6 stuff on sale . no sense in buying any of it until i have the base model thought i did that once already..lol

    But the mean time Viking Village is Killa

    Most of the add-ons don't require V6, just the free G2F Base.

    i bought the the HD bundle a while back thinking i could just use th G2 figures.

    even though it somewhat works with out v6 and m6. I think having the Base models for v6 and M6 would be a better result in using The HD set...and there are other V6 HD products that are on sale now that I would buy But they all say they require v6 and seeming the HD set said it needed V6 and I did not get the results I was looking for with just the g2f figure without V6 & M6 I thought i add them when they came on sale in the MMS sale. The pro Bundle was on sale. but i don;t need the pro bundles and @ $40 each for a base model is why was waiting for it to go on sale before i get any more HD products that require V6 &M6; Base figures. I did pick up some of the morphs packs that were on for g2. . :)

    Oh noes! The Olympia Pro Bundle was on sale and I missed it. Sad kitty :-(

    Honestly can't be too upset though. Less then a week in and the items in this sale are amazing. Can't wait to see what else comes out!
