I am astounded that so many people like this Pro Bundle. I do not like it that much, but that's only my taste — just an ordinary woman with plain-looking clothes (except one exception).
Without the Gorgeous Morphs from P3Design, not even the base would be of much use for me, I fear.
However, while I can understand that not everybody needs fantasy assets or sexy articles of clothing for his works, I am just too blind to see the awesomeness in this bundle.

I currently have little use for the base character. I could definitely use the P3Design morphs and some of the outfits, so after a few calculations, I figured all the other contents, including the base character, would make a nice extra for possible future use, for only about 4 dollars. Much cheaper than figuring out later that I could use them somewhere, and having to pay tens of dollars a piece. On top of that, I could add some more things from my wishlist at pretty good discounts (75%-79%), which just happened to be some of the more desirable pieces from the Silas and Edward pro-bundles, which I can now totally remove from my wishlist, they're being relegated to "whenever I get to pick a free pro-bundle and I already got every other pro-bundle" status. There are several G2 and G3 pro-bundles I'd pick before them.

@Mollytabby, that is lovely. I love the details you highlight.

I love all the makeups, the artist who created them did an excellent job. The church outfit drapes in dForce like a dream. I am not great at sitting poses and dForce, and it worked the first time. One of the Zeddicus sitting poses was used. Great work. Nida 8 is someone who I might see on the street, next door, at the store, or on the screen, or on the news. She is every woman in today's America. This bundle is worth the price. Daz listened to us and gave us what we asked for. Thank you.

    Thank you, @memcneil79 smiley

I think she's a truely beautiful and a wonderful character. I haven't tried anything else in the bundle yet, but I really must.

A quick render of Nida 8 without the HD morphs, using the CDI Poses for Nita 8 and the top and skirt from the dForce Sunday Best Outfit. The hair is Cute Bob Hair.

Here is my version of Nidia 8 and the full https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-sunday-best-outfit-for-genesis-8-females with https://www.daz3d.com/short-classy-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females and https://www.daz3d.com/diamonds-n-pearls. I found a pair of stud pearl earrings in https://www.daz3d.com/everyday-1950-for-genesis, used shaders on the Genesis 2 Female and Genesis jewelry.

    That's a lovely render @memcneil70

I have Everyday 1950 for genesis and I didn't even realise there were earrings with it!

Just wanted to say how great it is to have a coupon to use on another Pro Bundle, if you're not interested in the latest release. I couldn't decide on whether I should buy Kala or Sanjay 8. But then a game that I wanted was released yesterday, so I'll have to pass :(

I love the Vilma Hair. It (sort of) reminds me of Uhura (Star Trek). I really like the new promo too. I thought Nida looked like a man in "The Matrix"-esque Promo (sorry).

I agree. I already have LaTonya (who I love) and Monique and a ton of PA Black characters and pretty much every morph pack sold in this store and elsewhere. It's much easier to make characters quirky, unattractive, heavy or older with morphs than to create a stunning cover model type. The clothes I would never use for anything and I already have this tennis outfit https://www.daz3d.com/h-c-tennis-wear-set-for-genesis-3-female-s  I do like Vilma hair though and will pick it up when on a bigger sale or as a freebie. Making "average" people in DS is easy (and fun!) with morphs. Striking beauties like Mousso's girls or Emry's are harder. I truly believe I could make a zillion characters as good as this with all the morphs and skins I already own.

Thanks Mollytabby. I had a search and a half for the source file, as they came up as you can see below. I had the Files option in Smart Content open and found them there. Their naming is rather cryptic.

I like her skin. This is a render of Nida 8 base.  I posted a larger version of this render in my gallery in case you want to have a better view of the skin.

Lovely render of Nida, but that dress did not conform to her breasts at all.

I agree. It is a quick render to show my support to the character; but I am working on something else at the same time and I don't have time to fix it.  It is a dforce dress made for Genesis 8 Base..

I love that render regardless of the dress 'hiccup' @Virtual_World. All of these show the broad scope of real women in our world. Just lovely. Need to get back to work on more of them now myself.

...in one of the promos, she reminds me of a young Aretha Franklin.  Sad we we didn't have more "real life" type characters like this in G3. Thankfully I recently picked up the G8 to G3 character converter.

Someone referred to Nichelle Nichols earlier in the thread and Imani also reminded me of her. I dressed her in https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-dystopian-future-outfit-for-genesis-8-females and used https://www.daz3d.com/advanced-seated-poses-for-genesis-8-female pose 28 and a chair from https://www.daz3d.com/elegant--essential-poses-props--expressions-for-genesis-8-female. After not finding just the right environment in my runtime easily, I saw her in Iray preview mode with the light I had set at the beginning and went yes. Lovely skin, sculp, and the https://www.daz3d.com/vilma-hair-for-genesis-3--8-females with its morphs is great.

I also want to say to all the PAs at this point in time of G8 who are still making products for both G8 and G3 like AprilYSH does. I don't use G3 much anymore, but for those that do, you provide a great service to them. Thank you.

@Virtual_World I love your render of Nida, and that hair in particular. The lighting is amazing.

@memcneil70 , wow, that pose and the way the clothes drap on Imani is wonderful. I have that outfit and I've never used dForce on it. For some reason I hadn't registered it actually is dForce.

I rubberstamp Mollytabby's comment, and add kudos to Mollytabby for her render, and I wonder if Virtual_World has an older black lady brewing for us.

Interesting thought. She makes good stuff.

Yippee! You have given me a United Nations of U.N.ique types that cover a LOT of bases: Nikolina, Sisters Tammie and Rachelle, Arti, Zhirong, East Asian Men and Women, Good Guys, Elsa, Andrea---and that's just Genesis 8! I don't know if it would be commercially viable, but a remix of I Am and Man in the Mirror for Genesis 8 would be products unlike anything currently available, just like those were in their day, and I could use the help on non-toon regular people.

Thank you all for your comments. And Virtual_World, I grab all of your characters I can. I love the quality and diversity.

During my military career and later for 20 years working for an international company, I have been surrounded by the wonderful diversity of humanity and like to reflect that in my personal renders. Your work allows me to do that.

  • I love this character for two reasons she's older and a African-American female her looks is just so awesome. I really like this outfit:

    https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-sunday-best-outfit-for-genesis-8-females

As a kid I remember being in Church on a hot and muggy Florida Sunday mornings and the elder ladies were dressed to the nines in outfits like this ( In  pastels and and bright colours) sitting in the very front pews ( still goes on  today mostly the Deacon's wives and the Reverend's wife). It seemed at times there was a quiet competition  between the ladies and the size of the hats it seemed the hats got bigger each month. At any rate Nida is a fabulous figure very well done.
