  • Np, I just hope you have a better graphics card than I do. Trying to do likenesses of someone from photos goes a lot quicker & smoother when you don't have to wait 5-10 minutes to see how a minor shape change renders. My next desktop is going to have a Titan RTX for sure!

I have a GTX 1060 6Gb edition, and satisfies all my needs of rendering, I can afford a RTX 2080 but I made a promise this year not waste more money in hardware for 3D Renders that nobody view even posting on "Show your iRay renders" angry or  "the club post of ignoring Zilvergrafix´s great renders bc they are undoubtely better than us" angry

    #endoftherant #nowicandopornlikenormallydo

anyway... this is my final result:

that concludes my vision, next goal is mastering Blender and Zbrush for a more complete set of tools and in a distant future make a better Sakura clone.

If a 1060 does what you need it to do, that's great. My graphics card is a GTX 765M(I'm pretty sure it has 2Gb vram), so yours is many times better than mine. The main reasons I'm getting a Titan RTX is I want to be able to render bigger and more detailed scenes, caustics, etc., while being able to use the system during rendering without having the need for 2 graphics cards. Plus I think it will be a good investment for me in regards to future-proofing. All of the desktops(excluding my first), including this laptop, have lasted me at least 7 years before having to buy a whole new one.

heh, every forum I use on the net has its share of "clubs": lemmings, armchair experts, hypocrites, blowhards, scumbags, etc. Some of the stuff I see individuals post on other sites such as Deviant Art vs what they express here or in other forums on the net just confuses me. If I were you, I would just start my own thread in the Art section and put it in my own gallery. The more important thing is you like what you're making. We can always please ourselves with our art, but we'll never please everyone else.

I'm probably doing something stupid, but I get an error when I try to open this file. :(

it works, I had checked today 02/122/020 at 01:00PM (Chicago time) , steps to reproduce:

    1. Open a new scene
    2. Load a Genesis 8 Basic Female, no special characters just plain vanilla Genesis 8 female
    3. Select Genesis 8 in full
    4. go to File, Merge,
    5. Select the duf file and open

you would get this morph like the image below, change with any skin of your preference, sometimes different skins make a better character, believe me!

Thanks. I have since used this character in a few scenes. This has been an awesome thread.
