Oh my, I only have 3 G8 Pro Bundles.
Now I feel so .......... so .... inadequate,
I've never really seen a bundle and thought "I need to have all of it" or even 50%+ so usually just buy bits I like when they're deeply discounted later (or if there's a fancy deal).
So I guess that the wider your interests or needs the more the bundles appeal.
I do own 2 G8 pro bundles though, plus 2 G3, 1 G2 and M4 (all non G8 bundles were free or "free").

Amazing or surprising maybe, I remember both of their faces after not seeing them on television since before 1975.
Okay, shoot me, I collected them all. Even the Centaurs, but I think they were free when I got them. And with Daz's offers, I have collected a majority of the other bundles from Genesis 3 and 2.
This makes me surprised that I get those purple bar discounts since I only have 7 G8 pro bundles.
Just have one -- the Floyd 8 Pro Bundle, for which the store tells me I paid $1.93 back in February. Clearly too good a deal to pass up!
I pick up the base figures though and have quite a few. Another 10 are in my wishlist.
Pro bundles are expensive; most of the time I'd only use the figure and maybe one or two items from the bundle, so they're just not practical for me.
I have 8 and did not get it. Maybe its counting older generations?
Or they calculated the cut prior to monday when i bought 5.
All except Aubrey's, Rynne's, Aiko's & Toon Dwayne's. Starter Bundles for Aiko & Toon Dwayne.
Penny's, Tika's, Mika's, & Karyssa's Pro Bundles were free. The rest I purchased during their release promos.
I buy Core Figures because I want high quality skins, morphs, & HD Add-Ons, and the Pro Bundles are usually configured with banners in a way that it's cheaper to get them than not.
Favourite female skins are Babina, Zelara, Alawa, Kala, Tasha, Edie, Bridget, CJ, Leisa, & Monique (wish she didn't have eye bags).
Male favourite skins are Dain, Nix, Valentino, Dasan, Floyd, Vladimir, Tristan, Jonathan, & Christian; so, the males have definitely benefitted from the longer run of G8.
I have 5 pro bundles for G8 but have only gotten 1 purple banner on the offerening of a new G8 pro bundle in the last year. I also own a few G8 base characters. I think DAZ must use some combination of G8 Pro bundles, Starter bundles, and Base characters that totals more than some number but certainly more than 10 (I'd guess). Regardless, it makes no sense for me to buy products I can't afford just to make future products more affordable to me since I'm not sure if the added discount is sufficient anyway. I know I read a lot of "not a great deal" on every new pro bundle release from folk that have said they have all or most all of them.
I have all 69 G8 Pro Bundles, as well as the pro bundles for every other official character back through v4 (except in the cases where only a smaller bundle was released) except for Dragon 3, so I haven't been able to use one of those free bundle offers in forever. My problem at this point is there are hardly any DAZ originals left that I don't have, less than 2000 out of the 34,999 in the entire store, so those parts of the offers have become eually lackluster as well.
I only have the Horse2 Pro Bundle ,Centuar 3&8 Pro Bundles ,Toon Generation 2,8 &4 Pro Bundles ........Toons and Critters make me Happy!!

Daz should just gift you the remaining approx. 2000 DO's that you don't have, for being such an awesome customer!

May be tempted to make it 2 if the discount is adequate (80%+). Most Pro bundles have a great deal of stuff I'd never use.

No matter how steep the discount, if I take the price and divide it by the number of featured items that I'd consider true must-haves (and not just might-use-somedays) the endprice has never been good enough.
And I use 3rd party anatomical elements, so I have no need for those, either.
* ETA: Actually, now that I think about it: I do have the Minotaur 6 HD Bundle, which doesn't have "pro" in the title but did come with anatomical elements. And I have the Supersuit Pro Bundle. I got them both for about $12 each. Plus a few Gen4 Pro bundles that I picked up as freebies.

Now I feel like I‘m missing out on something, the only pro bundles I have are the M7 and V7 ones from today ... Just couldn‘t resist the pricing here, although I own both base figures. Now I‘m wondering, why is it you guys prefer the pro bundles to the basic figures so much?
64 8 Pro Bundles. Is it sad that my first thought was "cool! a power of 2?" I must be a geek.
Primarily because, once all the discounts are figured in, a Pro Bundle don't cost much more than buying the stand-alone base figure. On introduction, the figures by themselves (without the HD add-on) will usually run in the neighborhood of $18, whereas for a regular Pro Bundle buyer, the Pro Bundles are as cheap as $35, so you get the figure for about $6, plus a dozen other items, a significant discount on the HD, and a lot of other discounts like the purple bar offers, not to mention that you have to buy a least one Pro Bundle for each gender to get the anatomic bit add-ons. Honestly, about half of the time I buy Pro Bundles with characters I don't even care for simply because I save so much on everything else that the bundles are practically free.
Thanks for explaining! Right now, I do see that the Pro bundles are incredibly cheap, and I‘m thinking of actually buying some of them, instead of the base figures I wanted. Still, it does seem ... weird, I don‘t know, to cram a bunch of clothes, characters and so forth into my library that I don‘t really care for ... Well I guess I could just not download the items I don‘t like. Hm, will think about it some more. Thanks again!
