Your render is not showing up.
I don't think the Brother Bundle is a failed Teen Pro Bundle, not from the content. The only thing I saw in it I don't have similar already was L.I.E presets for a dirty boy but if the ad copy was indicative, the dirt distrubution I saw wasn't typical for how anyone would get dirty. The hair is an embarrassingly bad haircut like the ones I've been giving myself to save $11 a month so I have to say it's realistic; so no offense to Redz meant by calling it a 'bad haircut'.
I don't think there will be a Teen / Tween Ryan / Brodie in Genesis 8. I am surprised that Teen Josie 8 was made (or is it Teen Julie 8?) but I guess all things female are habitually bought by collectors. Those really don't bring anything to the customers really do they?
Something like this hinted at Thorne male Elf conterpart to Mika 8 is a sensible replacement to Tween Ryan 7 and Tween Julie 7 especially since the ears can be dialed out and the eye's reduced to human proportions.
I don’t have any interest in teens unless the content is reusable for adults. The only time I bought a teen bundle I think was for teen Ryan since it was cheaper to buy pro than buy clothing and hair individually.
Regarding the hair I’ll have to see. It does look oddly flat in the center and I wish there was a way to pull the bangs one way or the other. The scalp in the back looks nice and is redz signature work. It looks like another hair I own already.
In general I don’t care for female hair bundled with male hair since unisex styles tend to fudge on the male hairline and I don’t want to buy fits for females. This hairline is generic and since the upper half is hidden it’s hard for me to see what’s under there.
I can use male pjs and the letterman outfit by blue rabbit has a lot of nice things about it. Blue rabbit content shows a nice attention to detail and I appreciate the way they add extras to their sets.
Thanks. I think Boyd would find it amusing he looks like a younger man with long hair. I think he’s fast on his way to becoming a vain creature in that new body of his.
Boyd likes to change and customize his appearance. Partly because the body wasn’t his choice and partly because... well... he is Boyd and he has a certain degree of impulsivity and randomness are part of his nature... and changing his look is a bit like changing robotic bodies.
When Boyd first gets his body he is working hard to conform and impress Owen with his competence as a physical human...but over time he learns neither is necessary and relaxes a little. Owen has always liked Boyd and thinks he’s adorable the way he is quirks and all.
I think the hairline will be OK. According to the morph list under "What's Included", it's got the same setup as Tousled and Commander hairs, with the separate cap with hairline morphs.
Mildly surprised that something with long floppy bangs like that doesn't have some motion morphs, but that doesn't hugely bother me. I'm just trying to decide whether or not to get it right now. It's fine, but I'm not sure that I have a near-term use for it.
That would make sense, especially since this product is billed as a teen/child/youth hair. It can't remain flat down the whole time.
I'll test it out and see how it looks... I'm curious now.
Owen and Boyd horse around on the beach.
Here are two of the outfits released today. I think both look really nice. Boyd has on the shirt and pants and headset from the Back to School outfit. Owen has on the Boys in the sun outfit.
I made this pose.
As far as youngblood hair went, I did test drive it on Owen but I can't say it flattered him very much.
I really like this one. It's very dynamic and fun looking. And I love the bright colors.
Thank you so do I.
I pulled the old rainbow umbrella out of storage, since I didn't like my previous render using this. This time, I gave Boyd the ponytail he sported in one of his original images. I may redo it though- Owen needs a coat for this heavy rain... But ohwell, weather is unpredictable in the future. Light shining through the umbrella made interesting colors and patterns.
Owen and Boyd stop for java, but Boyd believes they are being followed....
Hah hah! The store search amuses me. I did a search for Sushi, and it brought me, in addition to the 3 sushi items in the store, labelled sushi, it found the "Sea Life Pack" and The Tuna in the store.... Ha hah hah...
Owen and Boyd enjoy sushi..... and placing all those little sushi pieces by hand gave me an appreciation for pas who make presets!
That looks real nice Serene ! And I can imagine it was a pain to place it all :)
Beautifully set up @Serenenight, it must have taken hours! I have enough trouble simply lining my figures up with the floor ... even with option + D!
Thanks. Yeah the sushi was a pain. It also loads on the floor so I found it best to arrange it down there, parent it on a plate and movement it to the table. The chopstick hand pose also was quite difficult.
I am finding I do not like the fit of dforce arms for simple suits shirts and jackets, They do not wrinkle at the joints appropriately. Yes they hang with gravity but when doing shirts the elbow will have some wrinkles where the fabric stretches and pulls and dforce doesn’t. It looks like a tube and remains unconvincing. This is frustrating to me.
Here's my latest. The ground is an HDRI, which was a mistake. It took a long time to get all the stuff posed without something popping through the ground. Plus the bubbles would look better on a darker background. Ohwell, lesson learned.
As always, the extra details add such a great touch to the overall feel of the image!
Thanks! My philosophy is if I'm going to do a render I add props and things to a scene. I like scenes with characters surrounded by things that make them individuals....
I wanted to try some clothing wtih undress morphs. I think undress morphs allow characters to look more relaxed and normal.
Owen is wearing Jeanz. It's from Gen 2 or 3, but still holds up really well.
Boyd has Lee Bowes-Russels new patreon outfit.... Which is sort of a MC Hammer style, is what he wears under his jeans...
Owen is looking for Boyd's shoe which is under that odd plant over there.
I also used the granite bedroom. It rendered quite slowly for me, even with large portions hidden. Cowboy wall-art not included. =-)
That's aa lovely scene Serene! Owen is like "How the heck did that shoe ended up There??" and I do like that cowboy wall art ^^
Thanks, Owen likes cowboys, which is something Boyd has been known to capitalize on from time to time. =0)
Urban cool pants. Someone requested seeing more of the pants. So I pulled up some Couples Yoga poses to show how they look. Kincaid is Boyd's dance partner. The pants aren't Owen's style.
It occurs to me that I have a ton of vehicles and no one has made any couples poses for vehicles. Now I'm going to have to do something about that, and I'm going to have to play around with my new VW bug, next.
Here's my first one... A work in progress...Its with the Old Reliable Pick 'em up truck.
Love the lighting for the one where they are stopping for java.
And I can't even imagine the time it took to pose the sushi. Ugh, makes my head hurt lol.
The looking for shoes one is something that happens around here all the time. Or the keys, or the work pants or....
Very good point about couples and vehicles. They are few and far between, which is why I snatched up santuziy78's King of the Road ones over at the other place.
This looks very good.
Yeah, the sushi one had me very much appreciating the pa's who make pre-loads of food.
I suspect that Boyd knows where his shoe is- but Owen is very cute helping him look for it. Originally Owen was looking under the bed, but- sadly he didn't fit under there. It made me realize that there is a need for 'reaching for things underneath something' kind of poses. But I'm not sure I'm ready for poses while lying down.
Thanks for your nice comments.
I'm going to have to check that out!
