Why the PC Platinum Club Coupon does not work for Daz Original products (non pc+) when the price is reduced at 1,99? I find no rules that justify that.
It's a (temporary) PC item.
Where is it written? All I see is: Buy any Debut New Release and choose 3 Select Daz Originals for $1.99 each.
When do we get our store credit? I bought the Ancient Egyptian Oasis Bundle yesterday, and $15 in store credit was advertised to be given today. The deal was advertised yesterday, is still being advertised today, and yet nothing is showing up in my account nearly halfway through the Daz day.
If that doesn't show up before I'm ready to make a purchase today, the entire bundle is getting returned and I will wait for deeper cuts on the individual items that I wanted. I've been wary of these cheeky little "buy now and we'll give you credit later" offers, they're still money out of pocket and not a true discount, and you don't even get the credit on the same day (when it really should be something that pops immediately in our accounts once the payment goes through, if Daz is going to do this sort of thing at all).
This was the first one I bit on and I'm starting to feel like I was right to be suspicious.
Daz don't work at weekends you will most likely get it sometime on monday.
I bought the bundle the day of release. There was $15 added to my Store Credit the following day. As scorpio mentioned, it is the weekend. Customer Service doesn't work on weekends, so expect to see the credit sometime Monday.
Looks like the folks creating the sales page just did a copy/paste of the info for the bundles. They should have changed "tomorrow" to "Monday" for both offers of Store Credit. Personally, I cut them some slack with everyone working from home, even though I know stuff like this isn't limited to the past several months. (Saves on my stress level, which is already high enough! lol)
I'm not at all sure that customer service being at work is a requirement for getting the credit. I've had other credits from similar offers show up shortly after DAZ midnight turnover; and customer service wasn't working then either.
That's something that should be completely automated, not a manual thing where an agent has to apply the credit to each and every account. If it's NOT automated, well then, that sounds like yet another Daz problem that they need to (but probably won't) get on fixing sooner rather than later, for the sake of both their customers and their employees. It being a weekend simply should not matter in 2020. Customer service agents should not be having to deal with manually applying credit to potentially hundreds of accounts, possibly missing some, and then having to handle justifiably upset clients who have not been given what they are owed.
The fact that these kind of things have been going on for a long time is precisely why I don't cut slack now, when I used to cut quite a lot of it. It predates the work from home situation, and just copy-pasting sale information like that is not only sloppy, it's false advertising when the company subsequently cannot or simply will not deliver on what it promises. I bought that bundle with the printed promise that the credit would be applied today and intending to use that credit today. Silly me, thinking that would be a modern automated process!
Daz clearly does not care to accurately advertise or honor these offers in a timely manner. Another disappointment to add to the rapidly growing pile of them, but at least I know never to trust an offer like that in the future.

Okay, so it has to be only Gen2; a Gen2, Gen3, Gen8 item is just 40% not 67%.

This sort of thing is one of the reasons I shop so little here anymore, unfortunately there are enough people who make excuses and still shop for the problems to not matter. Once you could trust daz not really now.

Not for PA items, which is what I was testing with.
I would expect the discount to be based on the latest supported figure, not the oldest, so it would be 50% with two or more of the PA items (Debut, still new, featured PAs) in cart.
I'd expect it based on the site's search engine, so if I set that to Gen 2 I would see Gen 2 % off, but there is always another sale.
OK, I was misreading the sale - the discounts for older items are epalcing the base 40% discount, not the 50% for two or more (you maya lready know this, but I'd managed to miss it) so they are working correctly. I would imagine that it is done on the basis of compatibility, but I would think they started from the oldest first and replaced the biggger discount with the smaller if an item had more than one compatibility, or that they removed items from the list once it was added to a newer category.
is there a reason that the guo luk bundle isn't discounting? it's not a new item anymore. and rarestone and nirvana's other products are on sale.
When does the credit for Oasis Bundle go on from Yesterday, normally had them by now?

Not necessarily. I did a copy&paste mistake on buying a gift card. My name ended up in the recipient email section. Why the store software did not complain, I have no clue. the @ sign was definetly missing.
I opened a ticket yesterday and got my gift card code today morning. So, SOME guys at DAZ seem to work on weekends
. I suppose the way things work or do not work is heavily based on the DAZ person doing the work. Some seem more motivated than others, though.

I am mildly confused. Today's sale says over 4,000 items in the Genesis 8 and Genesis 7 bundle categories ... but it only opens up a few dozen starter bundles. Which is it supposed to be?

This is most likely a copy/paste glitch. I believe the number is 33. And it has been reported.
