I take it back. It is working, but they changed the available items. We had some items in other promos stacking, now those were removed.
It WAS a good promo.
The text has been updated (there's now no mention of needing Cake items to get Icing items, and I tested in a private window to confirm that they are now independent).
Do you think I should log a ticket about my $15 store credit from the Oasis bundle (puchased Saturday)?
The last week was a bit of promo disaster. Fisrt the CAIRO-GIFTS, now that one. I DO appreciate today's flash sale, but instructions should be more understandable. I have no idea what happend to the sales guys. And, obviously, noone is really interested in the forum feedback.

Yes. I put in a ticket Sunday and still haven’t heard back though.
They just changed the wording to needing a new release for each coupon code which I'm out, I bought two new releases with the cake one as at the time it was not written that you needed a new release with both. Ah well.
This is probably not the right place to ask, but it is almost the right place to ask. Where do people go to see new/recent promo codes for flash sales that use coupon style codes?

Same! I've opened a ticket and they can either apply the credit promptly or refund the entire price of the bundle to the card I paid with (because like hell I'm letting them keep that money after this).
I had people telling me yesterday that it's because of the weekend. That excuse didn't hold water then and it certainly doesn't now.
Along with the update to the coupon wording they changed the products Scar 8 pro bundle was in the icing products and is now gone. I could have got it for 17.00, very disappointing that they change in the middle of the sale, hence why I have purchased little to nothing this entire sale so far.
Same here, i had a selection ready in cart and suddenly no longer discounted. I was finally going to spend on something this month and they changed it to remove those items that were already with some other discount.
And its not like it was so out of proportion, the other day there was other items also form the "special" selection that stacked with 2other promos at the same time and were not removed mid promotion.
This one said 12 hours so i figured i still have time to fine tune my selection since it was only 3 items.
I had 3 pro G8 bundles in there for about $17 a piece but cleared my cart while the discount was still stacking because those were all "nice to have" bundles and even at $17 a piece were still $51 that I could spend on other more pressing items that I will use now/more often. Plus I always like to keep a few unpurchased pro bundles because during the real big sales, they will often come as freebies-with-purchase. Don't forget the title of this thread! Daz is fun :)

Mine finally came through around 16:15 EDT, about half an hour or so after I submitted the ticket and more than a day and a half after it was promised to be delivered. I'm never touching one of those "deals" again, unless it's during a PC+ sale and the credit is just an incidental to a decent buy I would have gone for anyway. It should never be a deciding factor. It's not worth the hassle and run-around.
I missed them pulling all of those Icing items; sounds par for the course, unfortunately, just quietly changing the deal instead of going "oops, that was our bad" and honoring it. There are a couple things that I need sooner rather than later and will pick up, but that's going to be all. I'm also skipping the starter bundle coupons for today. There are two I want, but they give away starter bundles like candy during big sales and even pro bundles sometimes, so I'll wait.
Still waiting for them to fix a sales ticket I put in on 8/29 !!! A very unhappy bunny. Still no purchase since then, so saving money.
WATCH OUT WHAT YOU ARE BEING CHARGED! I checked out with $35.13 in my cart and luckily I screenshot it. $56.33 was taken out of my store credit! What is going on with the store!?!
+1 ...and shockingly the Mods DON'T GET PAID - they're volunteers. /faints This is an incredibly difficult task and getting the sales bugs reported nearly every single day is a huge part of helping to keep the Customer/Daz3D relationship in a smoother standing. I really have no idea what the store would be like if there wasn't anyone to report the nearly daily bugs. On top of that, they also moderate all the forum comments. I honestly think that the mod job should be something they should get paid for... just my two cents of course. :)
Absolutely they should be paid. Look how many people Richard helps every day with technical questions. They keep the forums clean of SPAM, TOS violations, and inflammatory remarks. Cris is here every night to report sales problems. Since Daz employees almost never post in the forum, the mods are our closest link to the people who can do anything to fix problems.
