I love this hair, and the new Lotus textures are as wonderful as the first set.

    nice!

she reminds me of the princess in that Flash Gordon remake movie in the 80s.:) or maybe it was 90s.

Yea, bought both too. Aprils other new hair Xinxue is also super duper original and very very nicely detailed. That womans work just gets better and better. While I'm a fan of other hair makers I would say about 90% of what AprilYSH puts out I use, these last two releases are just fabulous!

    Nice render! :-)

Probably a small technical issue, but I just noticed that every item in the Cyria set seems to be in the program as a Wearable preset, according to the tag in the display. Surely that can't be right; they all ought to be Wardrobe or Accessory.

To be saved as wearable presets they need to be saved as regular figures/props first.. I'm sure there is some technical reason they needed to be resaved as wearable presets. From a customer standpoint they work the same so it really doesn't matter.

    Hello

here is Aiko, slightly modified with a rounder face and eyes with a chubby Lin, pondering some space stuff on screen in a starship.

I didn't use previous Aiko before. That Aiko 6 is a fun character with a very different feel than stock Victoria.

    -
I suppose it's not the point of a character like that, but is a HD version will be made ?

Here are some Poser renders of the different styles..

Hot Pink will always close the deal for me if you might add another style

ShanasSoulmate made a set of his awesome textures for it, I've not seen it yet to tell you if he included a hot pink version.though. Knowing his style it's likely though.

This is true :) Hope everyone likes it.

    soon?

I haven't seen this mentioned, but I just noticed there was an update to the Lady Samurai Poses to included poses for Aiko 6. Previously it included poses for G2F, Josie 6 and Victoria 6. Also a whole new set of poses was added for the Katana from the Asian Prop Set which is included in the Aiko Starter Bundle.

I had a few free minutes so time for some more fun with AIko 6. This time it’s Lin with those snazzy Cyria boots and the Miwa Anime Hair (minus the front tresses.) The rest of the outfit is Dogz SuperDress & Leggings for G2F, set is Stonemason’s always awesome Level 19 and the lights are a mix of Age of Armor’s Advanced Distant, Spot and Ambient lights. Rendered in DS4.6 and run through Photoshop CC 2014 and Filter Forge 4.

Man, I really like Aiko 6.

Thanks! Between offering so much control and rendering so insanely fast, playing with AoA's lights is so addictive that they probably ought to be illegal. :)

Thanks! I did use the new update for the pose set, but have to adjust the arms/sword a bit though as it was going through her arm.

Base Aiko 6 (one of her makeups); SSS at 25%; i13's The Show; Valea's Midnight Bird (for V4-- custom corset fit, all other pieces automatically fit) [Raven mats]; Nightfever Hair

I've been messing with Midnight Bird a lot, and I wanted to see how it would look on Aiko :D

I will double check that one tomorrow. Thank you for letting me know.

EDIT: I just checked my files and the sword is not in her arm. Do you have limits turned on for G2F? I always shut off limits and pay no attention to them when making poses. Only other thing I can think of that would cause the sword to be in her arm would be the figure morph used. Thank you.

Student : Japanese First Year Transfer Aiko Roku
    Course: Introduction to Lovecraft
    School: Miskatonic H.S.
    Results: Highly Predictable.

Because it’s Aiko, and I couldn’t think of anything else to do to test the Lotus character & tex set.

I wonder what happen to the other products that did not come out yet? Is DAZ saving them for a bundle add-on, a promotion like "Aiko's friends" or still in the process of Q&A?

This is just a guess based on many years in marketing, but dumping too much of the same type of product on the market at the same time dilutes the available spending dollars. ie: if "Customer A" just dropped $60 on the Aiko 6 Pro bundle and has a budget of $75 to spend, "A" now only has $15 left to spend on other, similar products. That means sales of the additional product will get pushed down the line anyway, at which point A might decide to wait until that product goes on sale for at least 50%. After all, A's still got all that other stuff they just bought to occupy their attention, right? And it's highly possible that A might even forget about those items on A's wishlist if they're distracted by later releases of shiny objects.

Whereas, on the other hand, if the release of the additional product is delayed a few weeks or a month or two, A's budget may have had a chance to refuel and they may be looking for more new toys that are similar to the ones that they've already bought. Finally, it also helps to pull attention back to the new figure whenever there's a major new associated release, so while it may prompt A to go "Oh yeah, I've been meaning to pick up that International House of Hotcakes Hostess outfit for Aiko 6 for a while", it may ALSO get Customer B to notice the Aiko 6 for the first time.

So, yeah, they'll probably come out in another batch in a little while.

Aiko 6 was released when I was on holiday, so I haven't had a chance to play with her - but she's lovely, a welcome addition to my G2F set
