  • The pants were easy to fit on G8M, and less of an issue I found due to the lack of breast morphs which were an issue with the G8F top. Just load them without fitting them, change scene ID and put them on G8M.

That's awesome, Serene. It looks so natural. This alone compels me to buy this set and the original Every Day 2.

Love the concept, just wish some character or body morphs were included

huh? Why? That would just jack up the price needlessly. There are hundreds or even thousands of character morphs in the store already that can be purchased.

Or was it that particular promo girl that you were interested in? If that's the case, I think that she's Aeon Soul's personal character, Alice. And as far as I know, they've never released her morph for anything other than V4.

You could always buy the original outfit for G8F, if you want full body morphs for the clothing for better fitting.

I went ahead and purchased it (and the Cyberpunk Add-On, plus the Sporty one). Haven't tried with the shirt but for the capris, you can get more varied looks if you mix up the morphs for the same pose.

I do have one additional question. Are the UVs from Everyday 2 and the Everyday for G3F compatible?

Anyone having problems with pokethroughs? For me it looks good in preview but in iray preview or render I get pokethroughs even with G8F base.

Image below is G8F base with no active morphs or hidden morphs

Yes. But I am using them on men so what I do is make it a smidge bigger scale wise. Say 101 percent, I hide body parts, up the smoothing and also use fit adjustments included. You can also very slightly move the arms

    Plenty of tall boots available

    1. Is there a chance that we might get trousers with long legs instead of the capri pants, which are so.. '70s ?

+1 haha... I actually held off purchasing this product coz of the capri pants which I will never use in my male renders LOL

I've found it rare that I don't have to move the arms a bit and hide/move fingers.

the other option you can do is make two g8f's. Make one bigger and invisible, and use her to fit the clothing. you can then move that G8f around to work with different models, or parent her to the original. I've sometimes done that to make it easier to use products like these. you can make that invisible one, heavier weight wise if you need moreor widen her limbs.

Thank you for sharing this. A couple questions.

In "2". Does it mean that a lot of what is seen in the video comes from this addon or there may be too much overlapping/duplicates?

You also say a couple times "pose morph" body pose has morph too or only presets? does it mean this can animated? Or is a big leap between stages?

    Hi,
the "2" only refers to the clothes name "Everyday 2". We had a similar set for G3, Everyday, and this is its successor.
The Morphs + is an add-on for Everyday 2 clothes: https://www.daz3d.com/everyday-2-for-genesis-8-females and includes a few clothing items with special morphs. It is unrelated to the Dress/Undress poses + clothes in terms of sharing any morphs etc., but it can certainly be complimentary.

I'm not sure I understand the other question about the poses, let me know :D.

    1. Are there plans for a male version of these morphs? And if so, will You take care of males and females often undressing in a different way (= just check how most men take off a t-shirt compared to how most females do it wink)
    2. Is there a chance that we might get trousers with long legs instead of the capri pants, which are so.. '70s ?

Apart from that, these sets (and the other Everyday Clothes Sets) are on my wishlist until price and my available money are on an even level... But I look forward to that moment wink

Hi! We are not working on a male version of poses+clothes morphs at the moment, mostly because the get dressed / undressed sets and another couple of sets with more everyday kind of poses were all created before the male version existed.
We have considered it, but until we do start working on it I can't say neither yes nor maybe.
If we do, yes, we will use male references for the poses. I know what you mean, like grabbing your shirt from the back rather than the hips and stuff like that, yep, we'd do that for sure!

No, they are completely different items, they only share the idea of shirt+capri pants, hence the n.2 in the name.

We run a few tests yesterday and we may be able to do something in terms of length and/or style. We need to take into consideration texture stretching, because something like making the capri long pants would be taxing on the UVs. The tests we did yesterday looked pretty good though, so we're willing to look into this.

This is a displacement problem, we just managed to replicate this.

We'll check this out, but meanwhile you can just set the displ at 0 value or try fine-tuning the min/max displacement values. The Enlarge/Shrink morph should also help, but you have to set the min/max displacement values at the same value (say -0.3 /+0.3).

We'll fix any that have this problem on our end asap, thanks for posting about this!

Does anybody know how to fix that?

Both Morphs+ and Customize use their own folders, so this sounds unusual. I'm assuming this is through DIM/Daz Central install?

If so you may have to get in touch with customer support and have them check into it.

It's becuse the new Shirt and pants ,even tough having a different compability base, shares the same node name, so now daz studio recognize everyday 2 original clothes as the new action/pose clothes. The texture packs for the old everyday clothes is only compatble with the old combability base.

One solution would be to edit the metadata for all the texture packs so all the texture have the new compability base set to their compabillities. Alll of this is only necessery if you are using Smart Library.

Yes, this has been the trend/style here in Europe as well as the States for some time now (years).

And I gotta say, whoever develop this clothing line/trend and somehow convinced females to wear it out in public needs some kind of Medal of Freedom, Knighthood, or Nobel award for service to humanity.

I've seen way too many males and females wearing those tight fitting yoga pants ending up looking like 100 kg of potatoes stashed into a 50 kg sack then I ever wanted to see... so no awards from me for the inventor.

And the only thing that can make it look worse for men, is when those yoga pants are done in capri style... no sane male born before the 1990 would even think about using capri pants unless he was a native of capri who's going fishing... or posing for tourists...

Oh.. and DAZ smiled upon me today, for somehow I was able to get the Everyday 2 stuff - old outfit, texture and pose packs - for an amount of money that did work well with what my wallet contained :)
Now I'm waiting for the new dress/undress packs to hit the same spot wink

It certainly can't be the case that women are choosing to wear them because they're comfortable, since we all know that women are incapable of thinking for themselves.

  • Well Gordig, if you say so, but that is a pretty sexist comment for 2020.

I don't care how they rationalize it... I am just glad they do. ;)

Dude, every female on this board is about to hunt youi down like a dog.  Brave coimmnet there, not real bright but brave none the less. cheeky wink

The only issue I see with some women wearing Capri Yoga pants is that it leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination.

  • Was able to get Everyday 2 and the Morphs + plack for 65% off yesterday morning and then pulled the trigger on the Undress and Redress poses and morphs late yersterday.  Diod a little experimenting and Orbital Merc Boots work real well with the everyday 2 pants.  Now all I am waiting for is the Space Station Futuristic Styles for Everyday 2 to go on sale and I can finally start my Cheese Cake Space Station image set (NSFW)

NSFW Cheese Cake? Now that's something I'd like to see... Unless there's males in Capri pants involved of course.
