They are atm at a very good price. What are people buying from it? I bought the 2 Modeling with Littlefox bundle as it could be useful today too.
What else is easy to use in our G8, Iray, dforce DS days?

Somebody in a different thread said Star 1.0 outfits work well with Star 2.0, so I'll probably pick up some of those. I'll also probably get Chip & Cookie--I could probably make some great faux game sprites out of them, since I'm rubbish at pixel art.
Basically, things that don't need to look photorealistic.
Bundles mostly, some very weird V4 stuff that's tickled my fancy for a while, some G3 as well. It's a great sale!
I also go the Littlefox bundles as well as Melody 2.0 and the kitties bundle. Also grabbed some of the Lunar Science Station pieces. Very nice sale
Grabbed the Egyptian goodies - Bast and Bast hair.
dglidden Logs and Cave and some Islandgirl poses
Some Victorian V4 stuff for Western scenes.
A bunch of rocks.

i only gonna buy the ones which are around like 5k to at best 30k vertices/poligons count,any hair above that would not be good for me, then if you have any of those hairs or have bought please share if they are "around that numbers or above it would help a lot and since we are here let' me also ask the poly count of those outfits

then please if you owns any of those stuff please share with me the poly count i want to take advantage of the sales but as away i can only do that if the poly count budget is not bad to be usable inside unreal engine.

I think I'm adding some things to my Cookie, Star!, and Gumbdrops collections. I have a bunch of stuff in my cart, but I'm still widdling it down as I went a little overboard when adding things to the cart. Luckily, I still have my PA coupon for this month I can use.
I added lots of stuff to my wish list and only a couple fo my cart because some or most of these $1 items might eventually sell for 8@$2.99 during an upcoming PC or Xmas Sale... (or perhaps in my wildest dreams!)
The PA sale is usually when I add a lot of older content to my library as well. The last PA sale didn't have as much RDNA stuff in it as years past. I'm hoping that changes this year and more of the older characters are on sale super cheap again.

it's easy, just load the stuff(don't need to load the character, just the outfit or pieces of it, in some outfits cases they give you a option to one click and load all the pieces but in others and most of the old stuffs you must load each piece and make sure not "loading linked to another, like when you load ne piece in the scene panel it will appear and will be selected unselect it by clicking around the scene panel then with it unselected load another and follow that until all pieces are loaded.
then in the scene "info" small panell(if you don't have it enabled enable it in the "windo--->panel(tab) then search scene info then click to enable, it will pop up a small panel where this info is displayed
if you have multiple objects loaded but nothing is selected where all the numbers are being showed as "0", it will show the "total of all objects number" for exemple you have 5 piece with 10k each then it will display 50k, if you click in a single object it will display this object number in the exemple would be the 10k, another note you have 2 diferent values "active" and base" active is used for "high resolution stuffs" meshes wich have "subdivision levels" this will increase the poly count" and Base is the true number, for exemple a object with base 50k when you sub it it will be multiplied by a base of 4 then the display wouold be 200k/50k were the 50k is the true number and 200k is the "high resolution,, the for me the number which matter is the 50k which is the "true value"
Here a outfit exemple:
as you see the "total number for when load the full outfit is 126.830/48.183, the first number is the "fake" value while the second is the real one which i need, if you click in a single piece it will display the numbers for this piece
the boots alone have 19.498/4974, were the "active being the increased value and the 4.974 being the "real one".
to be clear i'm talking about the "vertices" and true meshes in some cases (of new products like geoshell and dforce hairs), while they have "vertices numbers" they have 0 quad or tris or anything else making then "fake geometries", which don't work outside daz and "dont really matter" but its only for "new stuffs" all old stuffs normally are meshes and have all the values and can be exported.
here a "normal hair exemple"
this is a regular hair it is a mesh and have 25.992 vertices and 24.624 quads, it's a good "count hair to use outside daz", some old hairs have some insane count like 100k 200k or even 700k making then really bad choices a much as many "new fibermeshs which have same poly counts.

<sigh> I bought so damn much Star, Cookie, and Chip. I've fancied them for a while and had a little bit of Cookie but she's so piecemeal it was cost prohibitive to get much.
Yes indeed... I have 150 items in my wish list for Cookie/Chip... they sell tops, bottoms, socks, shoes and hair as 5 individual products?? Even at $1 a piece it all trickles and adds up. I am only putting 20 items in my current cart and the others will have to wait for a 8@$2.99 offer. Plus this genre is totally new to me so I am not throwing it all in at the moment.
Hey, I got a couple rocks, too... and some G3F poses.
Me, I‘d been waiting aaaages to grab the V4 Snow Bride Bundle and the accessories and textures of the Victorian Innocence Bundle. I‘d already adapted some of the Victorian Innocence stuff to G3, so I know these clothes work well with newer generation figures. Awwww happy me, just 1,- each!
I only really shopped the last one, so I don't know what happened in previous years. Do the outfit and texture bundles tend to show up? There are a dozen outfits and textures I want that are mostly bundles and I feel like I would have already jumped on them if I'd seen them. I also want lots of Islandgirl and Ensary poses, all the Bast products, the Utopian wings and expansion, a crazy number of rocks, and a bunch of scene filler items like the tarot set and gazebo flowers.
Some bundles I'll probably just be buying today because with 3-4 products, they're still an amazing deal at $1. I'll go ahead and buy Cookie and Chip, too, but will wishlist their stuff. It's also not like I don't have rocks already, if the ones here will probably show up later. It's still a fabulous sale and I'll be buying plenty, but I've got a big purchase planned for today so need to think carefully.
@CoraRegina Which bundles are you thinking of getting? I have about fifty $1 items now (35 for M4 and 15 for Cookie/Chip). The other 100+ Cookie items are in my wishlist as I won't pay $100 for these nice-to-haves. Also adding CC Jack in the mix for an extra 10% on the whole cart (I think this even works for Fast Grabs). Don't forget to grab the couple of free V4/Cookie items if you haven't already.

Both Zero Gravity suits (M4 and V4)
Space Defenders for V4 bundle (Too good to pass up! It's actually a very versatile mix&match set.)
Lunar Science Station: Access Bridge (Having to retexture was always holding me back, but again, for only $1, I couldn't pass up on this one either)
I mostly just picked things that listed as DS compatible though.
Did you know your $6 off $18 PC+ coupon works on this sale? It's true! It doesn't mean a lot if you're buying hundreds of items, but it's a nice perk.
@DMax I'd like to get the ones for LotusGown, Cloisonne for DragonBraid, the Royale bundles for both SciWizard and CeremonialGear, Totem: The Owls, Bast for V4, and Stormwind Wanderer. For single outfits I've got Barbarian for V4, SDS: Mechanic for V4 (that one's been on my wishlist for soooo long), and G3F Bast. For hair I'm looking at G3F Bast, Aria, and Tilla.
I feel like I've seen one or two of the outfits on sale, but it also feels like they were $1.99 items. If they were part of 8@$2.99, I ended up having to pass them over in favor of other choices.
Lots of what I want are things like dglidden's various rocks and modular cliffs, since if I can get them into Daz and put suitable shaders on them I think they could work well for distant scenery that won't get close scrutiny. I started at around 50 items but have been really trying to trim them down! I think I put around 12 on the wishlist, but if they're not gonna be part of the 8@$2.99 deal...
I'm interested in EF-Anylia purely for the sword prop, but there's literally no picture of it in the promos part from a very oblique angle that obscures almost everything. All I can tell is that it has a curve to it and doesn't have an overdone crossguard.
CC Jack is tempting for the materials and nail shapes, though 10% isn't very much and I'd need Holt 8 to make full use of the rest (he's wishlisted for a future cheap character incentive). But man, are those textures ever gorgeous, and I do have a character in need of some lightly glowing eyes now instead of whenever Jack escapes his New Product Probation and goes for better than 37% off (though I'm not sure how the upcoming PA sale might affect that?).
@CoraRegina we have a couple of similar items in the cart... my top priority were the Bast items... been wanting them since forever! I am also not one to usually purchase new releases but with sixty $1 items, CC Jack shaves $6 off those and another 10% off itself which brings its true cost down to about $6.50 which just about meets my budget for that rather nice character which comes with many options. I am also using CC Jack to purchase the Vintage Boxing attire for $2.
As for Cookie items, I probably will go with only about 20 items... judging from prices in the last year, they've never before gone down to $1 so I told myself to pick my "must haves" within this list of "good to haves"... stuff which, if it doesn't again go down to $1 or lower, I would be sad to have missed this opportunity. For the other 100+ items, I won't mind not having them so will only get them if they go for 30-40 cents each like during the PC+ $2.99 promos (hopefully).
@DMax I love the Bast outfits so much! I suspect that I'll mostly be using the arm cuffs, but who knows? And hey, I might need the hair for something, so as long as it's only a buck... This has been my thought process all afternoon, LOL.
Is the Vintage Boxing attire the set for G2M? It looks great, though it's a fact that the quickest way to get me to think that anything looks amazing is to have vanilla Gianni 6 model it. He's my favorite core character and it's not even really a contest, I've bought soooo much stuff because they used him in the promos and it looked good. CC Jack really is a fabulous character, and I'll pick up Holt 8 eventually, so I may have to see if there are any things in that section of the legacy sale that I haven't already picked up, hmm... (Answer: Yes.)
I'm really doing a terrible job at this "spending less" thing, aren't I? I've somehow added another $20 or so to my cart AND there's that clearance sale Elsewhere (plus half off certain software)! But it sounds like a lot of what I want are things that honestly might not ever hit that 30-40 cent range, and $1 is hardly a bad price.
@CoreRegina I feel your pain... the problem is I am sure that we ALL already have waaaaay too much stuff that we have never used hahaha this "I will use it some day" thing is being stretched so thinly... I would need 3 lifetimes to use all my purchases! But you are probably right... most of the stuff that go in the 8@$2.99 promo were DO's and not PA items like Cookie. ps. don't spend too much now just prior to PA/PC sales!! :P
The Vintage Boxing set is indeed for G2M... I like the shiny textures and look very much, even much more than the recent Boxing Pro Bundle I purchased. I know I could wait out for it to go for less than a buck or even as a freebie but at $2, I decided to "splurge" :P I actually joined Daz3D more than 15 years ago and only came back this March and only now started learning DS in all earnesty.. so I have mostly G8 figures and a couple of G7 but I shall go take a look at Gianni 6. My all time favorite though is hands down M4 - that fella gets to me every time I come across him (which explains why I have 45 M4-related $1 stuff sitting in my cart right now) hahaha

I've spent so much money over the last few weeks that I promised myself I would refrain from purchasing anything else and what do they do put the RDNA stuff on such a ridiculously low priice that I thought okay......I could afford a couple of items....$60 US later (about $86 CAD) which at $0.80 each because I'm a PC club member amounts to .75 items. That's the not thank you part
For the thank you I now have pretty much every Arki bundle there is except for a few G8s I need to pick up. The V4 ones have been on my wishlist forever and I keep saying some day...well I guess today is some day. I picked up some other wishlist items but Arki was my big buy and best bang for the buck ($.80) Every pun intemded
