    Welcome back!

Today is shaping up to be about the same for me. At least it stopped raining...for the time. I went out to get the mail before it starts up again.

    ...Catuday complaints.

--More 90° weather on the way.
--Downloading via WiFi is sooooooo s-l-o-w. (25 min to DL the Lluvia fae character).
--still a bit tired after getting a good night's sleep (readjusting from my manic schedule during the week as it was too hot even in my place to run the workstation during the day).
--need a new keyboard for the notebook too many typos due to keys not always working which waste a lot of time (and the FF spell checker doesn't always suggest the word you wanted)

    Non complaints.

    --Have the Lluvia Fae character.
--Turned in last night and actually got up in the morning.
--Dry hard cider is really tasty, even better than beer on a hot day and is gluten free.
--A couple pints of hard cider make one sleep very well at night.
--Been learning a lot about texturing and surfacing (and having fun with it).
--Have a couple new pics finished (will have to transfer via flash drive to the notebook to upload)

...zioks! Reminds me of the surly waitress at the old 24 hour Quality Pie shop (long since closed) in Portland from years and years ago.

Could make a nice girlfriend for Vlad though.

I will pray you never see her... :bug: :bug: :bug:

..and sure enough, I'm asked for a bio and pics.. it's so weird, I'm nobody.. just some loser.. and yet there is that which remains.

All I want is to make my friends immortal. I'll be back to this place, like it or not. Feh.

Getting drunk, getting poetic as the walls come down, I feel there is purpose here, although i have no idea what it is.

Be well, everyone. I do not forget.

I am wasting my time googling for alternatives to Poser. I am getting Daz Studio as a result but that is a freeium whatever that means.

Be eclectic as you want with your bio. They'll expect it, you're a musician, an artiste. :)

There are different distributions for GIMP depending on what functionality's/plugins you want but the vanilla Win builds are here:

    http://download.gimp.org/pub/gimp/v2.8/windows/

and the official FAQ is here

    http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/faq.html

but is well worth the effort to do some research to see if there is a build that exposes functions you use all the time. For example there is a photoshop-like interface for GIMP

    http://www.gimpshop.com
