Is there an option to simply load Freja's skin onto an existing figure? (As exists for... every base figure?)

I have some templates saved that include transferred morphs out of G3F... I'd prefer just to load the skin on top separately.

Have you downloaded the update(s)? Freja has material presets just like any other figure, as you say.

Okay... through Smart Content -> Products view (not File view), I can see the "Apply All" under Freya 8.

I think it's not categorized properly. "Apply All" seems to be sitting at the "Materials->Iray" node rather than the lower "Feminie->Freya 8" node.

Time  to recategorize that, I guess.

EDIT: Okay... the Preset is actually at sitting at "Materials -> Iray -> Skin" where it should be "Materials -> Iray -> Feminine -> Freya 8 -> Skin".

Exactly. I was in the middle of making a post in response, but that's no longer necessary, so here's this dumb thing anyway:

Aaaand the Marida gown has incorrect metadata (gets categorized under "Saved Files" instead of "Wardrobe"). Of course. How hard is it to input metadata properly? Heck, I'll do it for free if you guys are that short-staffed...wink

    Have you reported this?

I applied the Freja HD by dialing it up in the parameter tab > Actor>People>RealWorld>Freja8HD
then I applied the Freja HD shaders and normals from the Content library.
    The character is custom dialed.
    The scars showed up nicely.

No, as I've actually got a couple reports of bad metadata that have been in the queue for months. No sense adding more to the queue. In fact, do we have official confirmation that metadata errors actually get corrected ever?

  • Anatomical Elements texture for Freya 8 still seems to be wrong. I haven't tried to compare the texture maps themselves, but the surface settings look identical to the torso... so I think it's a map issue. I would guess it's Diffuse or the SSS map being of a different iteration than the corresponding Torso section.

Using the Torso texture and a Torso UV for the Gens (freebie available elsewhere), the Anatomical Element looks fine/as expected.

Well, I honestly just kinda threw this together to she how she looked, and although I liked the way it turned out, it wasn't going to be the image I made for this forum. However, given the decent response it's had in the gallery, and DAZ3D seeing fit to share it on their twitter page, I figure it must be better than I thought lol

So here's my first one. There's another one that I posted to gallery this morning, but I'm not sure about posting that one here either, as it's a bit more on the graphic side. Feel free to check it out in my gallery, though - it's under the "Scenes" folder.

Full size is in the gallery

Nice! But you should put your name on it so you get exposure if Daz posts it publicly.

Yeah I should probably start doing that lol

    Thanks for the tip!

Gens texture seems to be a bit off? Or maybe I'm applying it wrong?

Yes, I think so. Unless I'm also applying them wrong too (select gens, select iray gen material, aplly).
