You have to apply the wearable fur and render. It doesn't show up in the i ray view until you do.
Arent those just the guide hairs? It came in fine with me. I didn't have to futz with adjusting the fur at all.
Oh wow - that's awesome you had your art of Leetah published in Yearnings. I'd love to see the work you did! :D
It would be fun to do some ElfQuest fan art with 3D assets. I've not tried to recreate any of the ElfQuest characters but I bet it would be a really fun challenge!
Elfquest fan here too.
I adore Elfquest. My kids are lucky they didn't get named after the characters... I'm sad I don't dare upgrade my Daz so I can check this wolf out - it looks fabulous when the fur is turned up. Awooooo!
hahah It delights me to see fellow Elfquest fans!
I really want to get this wolf - need to restock my store credit first, I missed the GC sale. As soon as a good GC sale comes along this wolf if going in my cart. He's beautiful!
Shade and Sweetwater, All.
what I like is you have the three different coloured wolfs without fur that load so you can pose them easily and see clearly then just add the fur when ready
he's a bit Wile E Wolf
some did a render in the galleries of him with a girl and gave him puppy dog eyes soooooo cute
...yeah realising a highly stylised character is no easy task. My icon is a G2 attempt at the character Merdia from Brave.
I have since picked up a few more toon styled figures so may give it a try after I do an update of Merida using G3 (working on the hair using the strand based hair tool as the closest commercial version is dForce [Primavera Hair] which my old system doesn't like very well).
...so I see two different categories for the fur, "dForce" and "Wearbles". Is the "wearbles" one LAMH based?
I love the wolf... I'm just having problems getting the dForce fur to fall more than a teency bit (almost imperceptible). I even cranked gravity way up (to 20.0) and it really did not change much. I'm just trying to get it to lay down more.
Is there some stiffness or something that needs to be changed?
You could try decreasing the stiffness and damping. Those should help having a fur more responsive.
Does this one come with a standard LAMH preset as well? Or only dForce. If only dForce, does it have 3DL materials?
Only dForce and Iray materials.
No joy for us, JOdel :-(
as well as Dire Wolf there's AM's squirrel, mouse and baby elephant

Hello Alessandro, reiterating what this poster above has said, I cannot seem to simulate the main body hair at all. The dforce hair in question is the one called 'Dog 8_guideHairs_SG0'.
If you try to run dforce simulation with just that dforce hair present, you receive an error as per attached, and the corresponding error in the log file:
I could see no difference between the simulation settings of this faulty hair and the other dforce hairs that are fitted to the figure.
