Just in case it matters: DIM is still not working for me, either. Earlier, I had about 7,000 items update in the Smart Content, though. As a consequence of that items/metadata update, all of my recent purchases now appear accessible/downloadable via the "Available" tab in the Smart Content, but I only install content via DIM.

DIM worked for me for about a minute, then promptly crashed when I tried to download something.

  • If you have nothing showing in DIM's 'Ready to Download' pane, try this:

Download something you don't have installed manualy from the Product Library.

Put the Zip in DIM's Downloads Folder.

Run DIM and Install that item.

That seems to fix/reset whatever is stopping DIM from showing the Ready to Download list.

I jsut tested DIM, DazCentral and Daz Connect and all three launched got my latest purchases and were able to download without issues.

I'll see if there are any errors being reported in the server logs if you are still having issues.

    Still seeing this -

2020-11-04 00:47:31.327 Network Error during authentication.
    2020-11-04 00:47:31.327     Json Parser (2,1): Syntax error - expected '{' or '['
2020-11-04 00:47:31.327 Unable to parse purchased products
2020-11-04 00:47:31.327 Invalid JSON formatting while processing purchased items.

  • Same error here:

2020-11-04 08:07:08.081 Network Error during authentication.
    2020-11-04 08:07:08.081     Json Parser (2,1): Syntax error - expected '{' or '['

2020-11-04 08:07:08.081 Invalid JSON formatting while processing purchased items.

I cannot download the products I have purchased yesterday.

Thanks, tried that, but unfortunately it didn't work for me.

DIM only recognises my installed content. The ready to download conternt is missing. Daz Central doesn't find anything (installed or not).

I just downloaded and installed some stuff with DIM.

  • DIM worked earlier but not finding new again unless I manually download and work offline

not seeing my uninstalled plugins either

  • Hello All!

5:00 AM here on the East Coast. Still can't access my DIM. I tried it the "usual" way and then tried using the "download and install" button on my product library page. Neither method worked for me this morning. Figured it's just more DAZ growing pains today. Oh, and I couldn't use it at any point when I tried yesterday either.

I was able to install things through DAZ itself, however. It just always seems to take a lot longer that way.

Just opened DIM - after letting the dust settle after the upgrade - and get presented with zero items for download, which is a bit worrying!

DIM not working for me, over in UK.

  • @Nemesis10 gave me a workaround if, like me you still can't get DIM to download your purchases. It's a lot of clicking but it works.

Go to your account => click on orders.=> View order =>manual download => download your files into your DIM downloads folder (if like me you have default set up it is : \users\public\documents\Daz3d\Install Manager\downloads)

Open DIM, before you sign in, click work offline. For me, when DIM loaded, all my new purchases showed in the to be installed tab as usual.

It was a pain with a lot of files, but there was one thing I really needed, so ..

Well, it works and is fster than manually extracting files from zips (for me anyway)

DIM still not working. Download list is totally empty. Frustrating. If I really have to download all missing files manually, I'm irked enough to stop buying for at least a year.

    Just adding to the record.

For me, DIM is not showing any ready to download content that I bought in my most recent order (weekend).  My DIM does show what is already installed.  I have done the standard stuff - log out and in of Daz, reboot machine, restart DIM and hit the refresh button.  I have not tried the single-item manual download trigger suggested above, and don't plan to try unless this malfunction extends several days.

I doubt that I will make any purchases until this is fixed.  Not a threat or a complaint, just a prediction.  I've been wrong before.

Same here. DIM is still not recognizing my purchases. Why buy if I can't use DIM? Plus, if I can't use DIM to download the purchases I already made,  I may have to return them

Daz Connect works, Metadata updated 4000 products this morning.

    DIM is slow but works

Daz Connect was updating over 10,000 of my installed products.  I noted the "installed" product count before starting the update: 15968.  The count after the update was 15959 so a few products dropped off, but I have no idea what they are...

If the missing products is because of the larger missing products issue from last month, I'll be able to find them by looking for broken shortcuts (Links) in my DAZ Studio Formats Library (shortcuts are broken, the files exist in the product folder in "Daz Connect Library\Data\Cloud", and the product is missing from Smart Content Tab), but it would take a long time to manually going through my DAZ Studio Formats Library looking for broken short cuts.

You had mentioned some products not available Daz Connect earlier, and discovered these three products you posted are showing the problem above.

    4826 Oriental Tranquility
    9804 Reparation
    15313 Horse Accessories

Edit:  I just checked and these three products are still MIA from the Smart Content Tab, even though they were previously installed via Daz Connect.

I just checked my Smart Content and I have these three items still. But I also had downloaded the Poser files as well previously. But all the .duf, .daz files show up properly. I did search by the name you listed in All Products, as sort orders are a bit wonky now.

Not sure it that helps you or not.

    Mary

Yeah, I had to manually install my purchases yesterday afternoon for the first time from Daz store, since DIM is on holiday.

Same here... DIM seems really slow in populating the list of content then doesn't show my recent (today's) order.

Oh... now it shows nothing at all to download, not even the updates for beta DAZ Studio.

  • The DIM issue has been reported.

  • I put a couple of Platinum Club freebies in my cart, checked out as usual, and opened DIM on my Mac to download the new items.  As I expected from reading the forums, DIM indicated that an update was required.  I told it to do the update which caused DIM to close without doing any update.  Again, this was expected after reading the forums.  I reopened DIM and it behaved as usual.  All my new items showed up and downloaded quickly.  This was about 5 minutes ago.

This mirrors my experience. I too work on a mac. DIM asked approval to update, which I gave. Then, DIM closed (I don't remember whether or not it actually did any updating before closing). I opened DIM again and it's working fine since. This was about 8h ago.

  • What's the current version of DIM? Mine does not show anything in the "Ready to Download" tab, neither purchased after the weekend nor before. Also did not get an update request on Mac. My Version is 1.4.0.67 (64-bit).

  • now I just keep getting signed out of Facebook

Issues remain.   Still have a number of failing products.   I find that if I keep retryiong at various time of the day, I eventually get my downloads.   DIM links in the orders page do weird things.

I've got version 1.4.0.67 (64-bit) as well on Windows 10. It isn't showing anything ready to download and it isn't asking for an upgrade. It does show the stuff I have already intsalled.

I've been using manual install instead but this has another problem. My library view by purchase date is almost right but not quite, it mixes stuff  I bought today with stuff from yesterday. When I buy a bundle plus extras I usually just go down the list until I reach something I've already installed. Now I have to keep on going trying to remember what was in the bundle and what was from a previous order.

Glad to know I'm not alone (DIM showing I have nothing to be downloaded).  Misery love company.

    It'll get sorted.
