It kinda feels like us loyal customers who have bought all the Pro 8 budles are being taken for granted.
Daz has taught us that they don't get the discounts, banners, or ad copy right until later, maybe as much as 3-4 hours after 9AM MST, sometimes never! But I expect a sizable discount in a new banner because this IS the LOYALTY sale, after all. So, I'll check back in five hours and see what's happened.

if Topsy sells very bad they might adjust the deal. This happens at least once in the past.
She's cute and I like some of the bundle components, but it's a bad deal. The sub-$14 pro bundles are attractive, as someone who doesn't own all the ones she wants yet, but I don't plan on buying any more bundles, either old or new, until DAZ restores the one that was randomly removed from my account about a week ago (so they can't use "it got lost in the site change" as an excuse). Or at least acknowledges that it happened, which they've so far refused to do.
Don't see why I should buy more bundles when they could just be pulled from my account tomorrow. Especially not when they're undersized and overpriced. Replacing the banner with our loyalty discount also rubs the wrong way. I'll pick up Topsy on her own at some point, I like her more than I thought I would and she does seem to blend nicely which is very nice.
Well, another very expensive bundle for me. And still low of funds as last GC sales required too much extra to trigger for me.
BTW, for those that are still interested in this bundle and the big discounts(bellow $14) for selected G8/G3 bundles, it looks like it is applying an extra 30% to get that low. Small print say's the 50% for purchasing topsy should replace the loyalty bonus but it looks like it is applying both on top of historical top sellers and of course the PC+. So be warned, it may not last.
I really like the character, but I laugh in the face of this terrible offer. Hard pass.
I'm thrilled by the character - a fantasy morph for a female that isn't 'sexy!'. (I don't generally mind the sexy ones, but I have enough of those - I do a lot of fantasy and I want to be able to populate more diverse female characters ...and monsters.) I'm not thrilled by the price. The discount on bundles does me no good since I've picked up the few pro I didn't buy new on other sales previously, so the side deals aren't really makign up the difference this time.
So I have mixed feelings. Even with a large loyalty discount (and having the hair), I'm looking at almost 40 bucks for what's really a very small bundle (especially wtihout counting the hair). I'm probably going to buy it, because I love the character, but I want to wait a bit. And I'm afraid that this kind of thing winds up telling Daz we don't want female characters like this... not "Yeah, the price isn't right."
You could get Topsy standalone for $15.42 or together with the HD morphs for $29.13 - also not that nice as $10 more would buy you the outfits (if you have the hair). But as I am not willing to pay $40 for that 7-item-bundle as I cannot make much use of the associated offers for other bundles I am leaning towards really buying only the main character this time.

I should have found a short hair that shows the forehead, but here is Topsy 8 at 0.4 mixed with Aubrey at 0.4 and Slexandra at 0.25. Default lighting and straight render.
Glad that Drutherson got a Dwarf conterpart.
I like her. I like the workshop. I like the two outfits. I already have the hair. I just feel like $39 is steep for the bundle. The $13 bundles are great, but added to that $39 I end up at $78 and that's a big chunk of money.
I'll keep it in my cart in case something sweetens the deal, but the $78 bottom line is probably going to make it a no-buy on this deal.
Hmmm, maybe, just maybe, a second bundle could be coming tomorrow to match the two bundles of Drutherson, and bring with it a better price, at the cost of buying two bundles?
A bit of a gamble though if you want the HD add-on. Getting it free is a "Today Only" offer; so there is no telling whether or not it will be free tomorrow. Flip a coin maybe a better offer tomorrow or maybe not.
I know. Although, "today only" and "last day" do not seem to always have strictly same meaning in Dazlandia as they do in real life.
Compared with the Drutherson 8 bundle(s), the Topsy bundle is not a very tempting offer. I really like her, she has character, but with the current price tag, it is a no-go. Off to the whishlist....

The bundle is not bad, but really, the offer is nearly a joke. The offers for those non-Genesis 8 Pro Bundles are getting worse and worse. Rewarding loyality looks differently IMHO - more akin to the Drutherson 8 offer. However, it seems the good old days with DAZ are gone together with the working store. Their new store mechanic only helps them coordinate imaginative ways to disguise that the discounts are not like they used to be.
Hey, but I am not complaining; with this new store and the new approach to sales, I save a lot of money each month.
I really like the character and everything in the bundle. I'm a little miffed that Daz keeps adding older products that people might already have purchased to bundles with all new products. I don't think giving a small percentage off is a very attractive deal since I already own the Miranda Hair. It would have made whole lot more sense to not add the hair just lower the price of the bundle slightly. As much as I love the character, I'll probably give it a pass until I can get it cheaper at a later sale when it isn't new and can use a coupon. Apparently even with the store upgrade, Daz still hasn't managed to fix the issue of coupons not applying correctly when there's a freebie in the cart!
I tried the plat coupon with just Topsy and the HD in the cart, and the price is too high even without a freebie in the cart
I figure at some point when she's no longer new, she'll probably get a decent discount in some future sale where I can also apply a coupon if needed. I can wait. As much as I like her, I don't desperately need her just because she's new. I've found if one has enough patience, you can either pick up the bundle really cheap at a future sale or you can get the individual pieces cheaper than what they are when they're new. I'm okay with waiting.
But yeah, I think even without the freebie in the cart, this bundle is too expensive. Add in the older hair, even with the discount, and I'm keeping my money on this one which is a shame because it's the first bundle I've like everything in it in a while.
They really need to have included something other than bundles in that 50% off section. Six pages of starter bundles because I own the pro ones isn't particularly helpful. I did find three items I wanted. Still haven't bought the Centaurs because I am never, ever going to have a use for them. And so they are going to be continuously dangled in front of me :P
As far as the bundle itself, hey, I paid for it with a 30% off gift certificalte. So yeah, the price itself at $39.06 wasn't all that good, but if you take another 30% off on top of that it comes to arund $26. I can live with that. And those gift certificates were offered two days ago...
I love Topsy 8 but I am quite miffed that we get Miranda hair, which we already had with the Monique 8 Pro Bundle!
I filed a ticket and, if they do not replace that hair I will ask for a refund for the hair as I already own it.
