    There was a banner for those who had the hair that is in yesterday's bundle, other than that no banners - presumably, as you say, because of the loyalty discount. I'll check the stacking for both bundles in another     account and report it if necessary. Edit: the offers look to be working in my plain, vanilla, non-PC account.

     

    Well if it matters i  have my platinum clup active at the moment and the Topsy merry and bright bundle is 34.57      The steampunk cart is 5.13   and the topsy the tinkerer bundle is 45.95   and like I said before the HD morph is free like it is supposed to be... not sure what is going on, but 91.62  is a bit much when I have been seeing others mention it costing much less. If 91.62 is the correct price  I'll just wait.

    You  are putting the Ostrich and cart bundle in, not the separate parts?

    Actually that was part of the problem, but even with the cart bundle correctly in the cart the price is over 86 bucks.

    Shouldn't that be 33.06 rather than 34.86? Looks like you have what happens to me too, with the platinum coupon only discounting 4.80 (and it happens even without free items in my cart)

    that would because of the hd add on because even though it is free in offer a percentage of the $6 coupon would be counted towards that which happens every other sale when you get a freebie but is also a daz original

    But I didn't have the bundle in there, so the HD addon wasn't showing as free - which means that error shouldn't have happened. It also happened with other items, not just Topsy and the HD.

    The error has cleared up since, though - at least for now.

    Still wicked expensive, even with the HD....and $100 of free items, it is not. Whatever way you try to reason it, these bundles are wickedly overpriced. I paid $55 for the male bundles + $100 worth of items (which was more because they were discounted, so say $200 free). I'm not throwing down $73 (I own the hair) for the bundles + a wicked cool ostrich cart + a HD I'll forget to use, because I *always* forget to use HD's. The math just doesn't add up, and neither does the marketing. 

    Male bundle: $700 worth of value for $55
    Female bundle: $300 worth of value for $73

    Hmmmmmmmm........

    probably just find a work around... i've recently bought a figure with no corneas (Zhao), then another with no eye lashes (Minto) coincidently all eye related but also have hair that takes an age to load and crashes Daz if i try to save it (ramone hair).

    All need reporting i guess but i find the whole experience convoluted to be honest especially if there is a obvious quick workaround, which seems to be the norm anyway (i'm learning) for many things Daz and 3d rendering in general.

     

    I had the same issue with Ramone hair - is a very very heavy dhair and i had to return it, loading it crashed my daz studio.
    I have minto tho, no problems. What's the eyelash issue?

    And how can cornea be missing? I THINK carboncrow does characters with displacement but i don't have any so I can't say. Are you just not getting reflections to show up?

    I really like Topsy's products, they promise a lot of kitbashing possibilities. Here is a quick render I made with the amazing Alabama HD by Mousso, using Topsy's makeup and expression. I was looking for some dirt on the face that looked like the character had goggles on, and here it came.smiley

    The ride was worth it afterall...

    The geometry is there but its not visable in texture shaded mode, it appears in iray but the iris then renders very dark to the point were the different eye colours all look the same...

    anyone know the hair used in the Welda promos  the 1st one  love how  unkept it is  ;)  deffo a character  i going to use in future renders :)

     Glad to help. In such situations I check the PA's store for other products that may contain the one I am looking for. Sometimes I find something where the products used are listed. Or it is even from that very PA's shop.

    Topsy 8 HD with the Evergreen outfit and addon textures.  I did use the Twinkles product here (G8M version).  I turned down the gloss/top coat on the coat cuse it was to much.

    Daventaki, love this render, super cute.  I wish I had waited for the weekend and not jumped the gun on Topsy 8 and the Tinkerer Workshop.  Still waiting for the missing textures which are around 37 or more.  Wish I had purchased the Steampunk Ostrich, at least I could do a scene with that.  But alas, back to my cart to see what I still can get on this sale.

    I ended up caving and getting Topsy 8 but just the figure. The bundle is too rich for me even with the discount for having the hair. With my Holiday Loyalty Discount and the PC+ coupon, the price wasn't that bad for just the figure. I'll pick up the other things I want later, much later. So now, I get to download and play.
