People were excited about this product. Where are the renders?
Here is my latest - Burger and Fries. I made a few changes, like always. I wonder if you will notice.
Great render. Although the guy seems to be in the wrong restaurant
. Burger King guy, having to eat at Golden Arches?
Chef Takes a Beer Break
The beer glass, the burgers in the pan and the steam are from Dirty Dishes. G8M also has the beer mustache, but it is hard to see from this angle. I don't buy very many "New" Daz products, so when I get one, I like to explore its possibilities. There are lots of possibilities in Dirty Dishes! So I keep rendering.
Thanks for the compliment, but I'm puzzled. What gives the "wrong restaurant" impression?
The expression of the guy
. But perhaps I am getting it all wrong.
OK, I see. He was just supposed to be gazing off as he ate. Maybe his lips have too much of a sneer.
Fun renders with great posing and very creative use of the props (in the frypan especially). :D Looks great IMO. I see you tweaked the materials in the napkin and the drink. Glad to see that steam prop getting some love. I added it at the last minute and wasn't sure if people would notice it or not. I like how you added a liquid stain on the chef's chest too. Really adds to the feel of a messy scene.
I'm waiting for someone to animate a scene with these props in use, would be great to do that.
I'm definitely going to be getting these at some point. Looks like a really high-quality product. Looking forward to seeing more from this artist!
@barbult Nice renders! It looks like you used Iray WetWorx for the stain in the beer one. I'll have to get that too now.
Dirty dishes are not the main focus here, but they did make several cameo appearances:
Peeled banana on the plate (I just discovered that the banana peel "arms" can be posed!!)
Lettuce scrap dropped on the floor
Two partially full beverage glasses
One of the two full bananas in the fruit bowl
Are those macaroons individual props or all put together? I really want some macaroons for my digital people, just not all in a row like that. Nice render!
Bummer. Thanks for the response.
Cozy Cafeteria
@certaintree38 it wasn't very hard to isolate a single macaroon with the geometry editor, invert the selection, delete the unselected polygons, adjust the macaroon position to the origin (I used Mesh Grabber to move and rotate it) and save as a new prop.
I actually just got done doing that.
@barbult your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. Great renders.
@barbult, you just made me VERY hungry now! And not for healthy food. Great work.
Well, you really should eat healthy. Maybe some fruit? ;)
And nice work as always barbult :)
I hope this is a teaser for something coming soon.
Not soon. But it might be a teaser for work underway.
Wow! That looks like a dekopon/hallabong/sumo madarin
Nice! It is a Sumo Mandarin (or at least, that's what they call them in my local grocery store). And I agree. They're very tasty!
I was playing with UltraScatterPro. I made a pillow of banana slices and one of lettuce leaves - just for the fun of it. Leafy greens are scattered on the floor. The scattered blue mushrooms are from another product.
Very nice, but was this perhaps intended for the 41 Food Shaders thread?
No, The banana slices, lettuce leaves and leafy greens come from Dirty Dishes.
Late response
Had some when we went to Jeju-do/Jeju Island a few years back. Due to quarantine restrictions we were not allowed to take it back home so we finished it there
