  • Hey guys. Appreciate all the nice things said and the ideas and feedback. The followup pack is now available. Sorry I couldn't fulfill all of the requests made, but I did try to do some of them at least. I had a list of other ideas I also wanted to try so I hope you like them too.

THIS is a good example of how faux products should be designed:

    No shameless self-promotion

Wow, looks great! I like the milk and egg “action shots” lol.

What I’d like to see in the future:

Spaghetti hanging off a fork with the ability to bend the loose strands, same with noodles hanging off chopsticks. Both maybe with hand poses and fork/chopsticks props.

Different cereal types in a bowl and being poured into a bowl, including granola.

Wine being poured, champagne bursting from bottle and also being poured

A juicer with fruit at different stages of being puréed.

Beautiful appetizers/hors-d’ouvres that are passed around at upscale cocktail parties.

Shrimp cocktail with jumbo shrimp in a circular design arranged around the rim.

Basically more beautiful, creatively arranged upscale food that you see on some people’s Instagram. More like gorgeous alluring trendy food than dirty dishes I guess.... We already have tons of desserts so I’m really hoping for appetizers and hors-d’ouvres!

A great thing just got better! IMO Dirty Dishes is one of a small group of products that is absolutely essential for your library. And that's saying something..... I rarely give lavish praise on any product.

  • Really excellent work. Instant purchase, no questions asked.
  • That is indeed one of the best products on the DAZ store. Thanks a lot @gcjellyfish. A lot of quality content for a moderate price. If DAZ would have an auto-buy option, I would add gcjellyfish to it.

    Hello Anotnio,

I can certainly look into it. Are you sure you need this option? For something like a Visual novel or a comic, where you're simply rendering the product and distributing your own renders, this shouldn't be necessary. And the poly counts might be too high for a real time game engine as the assets weren't really designed for that use case. But if you really do need it, I can look into what's needed to activate the option after release.

  • No brainer. In my cart before even looking at the product. I have since played around with it now, and wow...just wow! Keep it coming, is all I can say. So many useful properties in this pack that further enhance the realism of scenes. I haven't been so thoroughly happy with a Daz product for a long time.

  • In the cart as soon as I saw it and now I'm into converting the mats to 3DL. Almost all play nice, just the odd one or three give me probs...I never could get a good egg yolk yellowy orange for the first set :)

Funny little story...I was showing my son some of the product and said I thought I would ask the PA to do some fruit with bites, and a core, and he said "and a new core and an old one," and walked out. I opened another couple of folder and screamed out at him "OMG, they've already done it!!" Very, very happy buyer.

My vote for the next set: beef stew with big chunks of carrot and onion and with proper English dumplings; pavlova for dessert with raspberries and lashings of whipped cream; some more partially eaten fruit...peach, plum, pear, watermelon with seeds left over, fig

  • you know, I did think about doing a pavlova...but went with straberry shortcake instead because I figured a lot of folks outside of NZ/Australia wouldn;t know what it was. Something I'll keep in mind for the future.

You are right. I've never heard of it, and I have even visited both Australia and New Zealand.

I'm a Canadian and make Pavlova as a special dessert and its truly delicious.  My mother used to make it, I'm 74 so it's been around for a long time here.

Hi friend. Thanks for your answer. Yes, i really need it. If i don't have interactive license, i can't not buy it, because i couldn't use it in commercial use in unreal engine. I would aprecciate it a lot. ;)

I have submitted a ticket to the Daz store staff asking them to enable it for both the base and expansion packs. Hopefully they'll be able to do that soon :)

And yes, I make my own Pavlova's too. They're never quite a perfect as the ones my grandmother used to make when I was a child, but they're always very popular amongst my freinds and family. Perhaps the need to take more photos for reference and textures would be a good excuse to make another :)

I never need an excuse to make a pav, it’s my fave dessert. I made a nine egg one for Christmas last year.

I have several Dirty Dishes expansion items in my picnic scene. The gargabe cans are overflowing with UltraScattered food remnants, too.
