Looks like this got sorted. Mostly. It's all 2021-06 now. Only thing is that the bundle promos still show both hair products.
Not the way I wish it had gone. Would have preferred a higher price, but two base hair sets.
Also, as far as "incentive", for purchasing G8.1 stuff, I don't think free G2 stuff is the way to go. Some of it's nice and works okay with later generations, but I've already paid for the stuff I really like. If you want to hype G8.1 to new users, who won't be as comfortable converting and scene ID editing old 3DL stuff, the freebies are kind of useless.
Is there someone, at Daz, working on improving the customer's experience? The search engine isn't that great.
Too often, I have a better chance of finding something with Google than with the store's search engine. But there are times when Google can't help. For example, if there are 30 pages of products selected in a sale and I'm only interested in props or poses, for instance, there's no way to select them. Furthermore, since the last store update, we lost the informations there was on the product's page about required products, and those we already own, and add-ons. It's like we've gone back a decade ago and it makes shopping more time consuming.
This is the second day in a row that the bonus item is an old item that I already own. At that rate there doesn't seem to be much extra incencentive to purchase new releases on the first day -- Just put them in the wishlist
And no credit card sale yet this week. My store credit almost gone so I'm having to be very conservative and not purchase much. I really hope there is a really good gift card sale very soon.
In the case of Daz's store search, staring into the abyss gets no acknowledgement at all. What they need to do is reinstall the OLD search.
Weirdly it's listed on the vendor list and the store page reference as 2 different links. The product page is "betty" the vendor list is "betty-", though neither link works.
You can just go to the main page and type b.e.t.t.y into the "artist" filter and filter that way (or use this link here).
The store is often drunk, but I guess it sometimes sobers up.

Concerning the Norene Bundle:
Both hairs are in the bundle (not the texture expansions)! This was an error in the store this morning. Sorry for the confusion!
SteamPunk Attack dog is one of the Newly Mad items but is not triggering the free incentive item.
Disappointing that there has been no clarification or resolution to this all day (It was first raised at 6.35 a.m. UK time and it's now 7.35 p.m.)
If it was a mistake - it would really help if it had been corrected swiftly.
Otherwise, honour the offer.
Doing nothing just wears out the customers as we keep checking, keep checking, keep checking ...
I think it's mainly that the issue was not understood. of coruse it may be intentional that the PC item, being a special price, doesn't trigger the freebie but we will try clarifying the question and see what the reply is.

My Paypal purchases have been failing with "There was an error processing your transaction" since yesterday. Anyone else experienced this? I missed some PC+ for the day items because of this.
Thank you for the clarification! I had to put in a ticket on my purchase this morning as I ended up with duplicates (the 2021-07 Hair) unfrotunately. Hopefully support can sort that out :)
What do you have in your cart? Sometimes PayPal doesn’t like the name of a product and the transaction fails. Though I'm not sure it gives that error.
You could try purchasing a gift certificate covering the cart price with PayPal and then use the gift certificate to make your purchase.
Called Paypal, they said my Chase CC was rejecting the transactions. Called Chase, they said they currently have a technical issue with Paypal and are rejecting all transactions from them... but they're working on a fix.
There have been issues with Paypal since Tuesday last week, I haven't been able to buy anything since then. They (Daz) are working on it, best to open a ticket with a screenshot of your cart.
Hmm, sale is getting stale - at least for frequent buyers:
- Bonus Madness for frequent buyers: old item the 2nd or 3rd day in a row I already own.
- Free item special: somthing ancient for V4 (really?) I already own.
- Related bundle building: all of the intersting bits with value I already own.
So it comes down to new releases and PFAD but with just a few cents left in store credit and the "purchased something in the last 3 days" offer becoming uninteresting I might skip today.
Not supposed to happen. The build your bundle option with increasing discount is only good for MAD related, not for new releases as far as I can see.
Might go for the PBR skin manager and the pearls. Todays PFAD was mostly already higher discounted last autumn in the PC+ sale.
