The coupon seems to be working now, but not stacking with my PC+ membership discount is ridiculous and definitely not worth it.

This isn't new as such - when PC items have been included in a really big discount category they have often been excluded as far as the PC price goes anyway, and it's quite possible that other sales will apply to the PC price in future. They were included here for the benefit of non-members, members are getting a better deal year-round.
Having the 70% not working from a PC+ item price might be neglectable, but having it the 30% discount the PC+ membership offers for all DAZ Original items makes it tasting utterly sh**** for me.
Adding to that, even the PC+ coupons can be used for this "deal", as it comes with it's own code... so not really advertising for a re-buy of my one year PC+ membership next year...
"Sales" like this are getting more and more common here... which leads to me buying less and less stuff here.
Like I said, I do understand PC+ items being excluded, but I'd much prefer they make a separate category for non-PC-members then, if they want to give discounts on the PC+ items. Because it's really disappointing otherwise, especially if all your wishlist items in the sale are PC+. But that's a minor point, really. The main issue, like maikdecker says, is the initial 30% discount or whatever an item currently has for PC+ members. We're not getting this discount for free, we pay for it with the membership, right? So why take it away and give us effectively less of a discount than non-PC+-members? THAT feels unfair to me.
I do wonder why a PC+ member would be interested in the CELEBRATE70 coupon at all. It represents a discount of just 58% (since the PC+ discount does not work). For a DO 58% is nothing special compared to promotions we have had in the past, and you have to buy a new release to trigger it. It is the same reason I tend to ignore DOs when they show up in flash grab.
Stacking discounts have become largely a feature of the past since the new store software.

That's the same reason why I don't get DO's from Fast Grab. Not really that good a deal.

Well, that's not going to work. One addon is the HD addon, which is included in both bundles, so why should I buy it a third time? There are the textures. That's one. And I already have the rest of the addons, which are surprisingly old items, not new ones.
Same here; but even the textures (as well as the HD addon which is in both)are in one of the bundles. And like ATI I already own all the rest of the addons.
This. Whole thing seems rushed together and overpriced.
Well will be interesting to see if DAZ is coming up with any interesting offers over the weekend. Could even be that I won't be using my 20% Bonnie coupon at all. Would be a first for me.
The textures are listed as being in the bundle on the sales page, but they're not listed on the product pages themselves. So whether they're in there is another mystery.
And if I buy both bundles, I buy a third of both bundles twice. Shouldn't there be a bigger discount for buying both at the same time, if a third of the items is exactly the same?
With the added insult that they were all available at a cheaper price a week ago.
Add-ons deal doesn't make any sense to me. HD-Add-on which is in the bundles and old stuff I already own.
It makes no sense to have the character and HD in both bundles, then have the HD AGAIN as an addon.
It could make sense if you only want to buy the character and the HD.
That doesn't give you an additional discount, though. If you want the iscount, you buy the bundles, and need 3 addons. One of which you already have twice from the two bundles, so you're not going to buy that a third time. Most of the rest some people already have. That leaves with one single addon. You can't make three out of one available addon.

I do like the character. But the rest of both bundles is ... meh. And forget about the add-ons. So no bundle for me, and the character (as he is 8.1) will have to wait a long time. I'm not into the 8.1 Generation yet. Perhaps I would have bought the clothing- but it has the same problem all male dForce clothing seems to have. It looks and behaves like thin plastic sheets.
Thje add-on selection and the discount for buying bundles and add-ons together have been updated (please open a ticket if you purchased already and want to make adjustments).
The PA Sales promo page has been updated to fix the Stool Pigeon bundle contents.
Well, I'm confused.
Can you tell us what's been changed? Because I am only seeing the HD that I get in a bundle, the textures, and a bunch of old stuff I own in the addons. And I don't see any comment about 'buy or own', which might help.
There's 3 old items that were not there previously, not that it changes anything. Tried it out of curiousity, though life poses doesn't even work, didn't check the other 2 since I already have them.
Yeah, if they don't figure out a way to give a 'buy both bundles' discount that's meaningful, I'm going to dump my cart this afternoon, because I don't see a point in buying two teeny tiny bundles that have about a 50% value overlap without a heck of a discount. Since the figure and the HD are definitely the most expensive items in those bundles.
That'll give me something to pick up the next time they offer genesis 8 bundles on fire sale anyhow.
