Why most part of famous artists haven't published anything for several months ?

I have used daz studio for several years and buy many products from artists whose work I particularly appreciate. But for several months now, these artists who regularly published new products have not been selling anything new. I feel like the most iconic daz studio artists are simply gone. Why ? Does anyone have any answers?

Can you give some examples?
Hi Gordig. Thank you to answer me. Yes, Glodtassel, AprilYSH, Cicleyeld, Second circle, etc.
SickleYield - Professional, Digital Artist | DeviantArt:
And
Frankie Hair for Genesis 8 | Daz 3D:
Never heard of them
AprilYSH also has a NEW hair in her store.
I recognize all of those as having published in the last 3 months.
Second Circle and GoldTassel haven't put out a new product in a while, but AprilYSH and SickleYield still produce pretty regularly, and both have products listed as "new" in the store right now.
Maybe I mixed up GoldTassel with Neftis, somethings their hair looks similar in how the material shaders are made.
Oh c'mon, I can't be the only one who thought this was funny.
Has anyone heard anything from Faveral recently? The last I heard, he was moving from Los Angeles to somewhere in the Caribbean after which he seems to have dropped off everyone's radar.
Cheers,
Alex.
I did. ;)
SecondCircle uploaded a new product to Renderosity yesterday, so maybe they're focused more on Renderosity these days. They're not listed as an 'exclusive artist' at Renderosity, though, so perhaps they'll have something for DAZ soon.
I haven't seen anything from Fabiana in a while. Every product that she does is top notch. I buy it even if it doesn't look like I need it. Lately, I discovered the high quality models form PW Productions I'm very impressed with their Posieidon Pirate Ship.
Second Circle has been putting out products at Renderosity pretty consistently. Their last Daz product was 3 years ago. They might as well be exclusive at Rendo.
Belatedly moved to the Commons as it isn't a Daz Studio topic
Faveral did move and seems to be doing well, but he hasn't said when he'll return to 3D. I assume he will at some point because he did say he wanted to, but I guess considering where he lives now, he just wants to enjoy life. :)
Fabiana said recently on FB that she was "entering promo mode" so something new should be coming in the not-too-distant future.. probably at Rendo though.
+1 a fan of the PW catalog
The last year and a half have been unprecedented in terms of lifestyle changes, the world over. One member of my immediate family, and 3 close relatives died from Covid, either directly or indirectly - and many millions of people have been sick. You know what's been happening. Maybe they just don't feel productive at the moment.
It is only guesswork ... but possibly they are busy making products for the upcoming Daz Studio 5 release. It would make sense if they are.
Fabiana has been putting out stuff on Rendo. They're pretty much my go-to lighting person for good rim and spotlights.
Daz Studio 5 won't "release" until the end of the year, also, other than Goldtassel, it's not true that they've not been releasing products recently. Besides, there's no reason to hold off on releasing products in anticipation of DS5.
Indeed, and the release of DS 5 will only really affect plug-in and script developers, and I believe most of the PAs mentioned above are not either of those.
and where did the carrara vendors and developers go?
entire catalogs gone from store, plugins gone.
howie farkes?
Stonemason has released 6 complete sets in the last 6 months, which may be a record for him---especially recently. Also, Polish, Aeon Soul, Raiya, and OOT have been releasing new product steadily. I wish Luthbel would give us a new Urban Survivors---sans skinny jeans.
Probably the vendor I miss the most.
No "exclusive artist" sign for them at Rendo though. Just quite a few products released recently.
For some time now, Stonemason has been releasing A LOT of stuff that leverages previous releases/creations. Same themes, similar sets, some variations. He seems to have gotten into a rut,or run out of new ideas, which is too bad 'cause his talent is not being put 100% to use with releasing variations on previous products ... but he's not the only one to do so. Maybe being lean and hungry is a good thing in terms of artistic evolutionary progress.
