Complaint : Why isn't there a easy way to find everything associated with an item say like Dream House ,all the rooms and various textures ,or Morphing Fantasy Dress and all it's textures and variations? or all the Carnival stuff textures and rides etc .I don't understand !! and I've given myself a headache

Because it's the thrill of the hunt!... Life is always more interesting when you have to hunt down something instead of having it handed to you... isn't a Big Mac boring... you hand someone money and they hand you a damp burger... wouldn't you rather hunt down that burger and bludgeon it with a rock?

I'm guessing that's the reason DAZ has made the store exclude that feature... they are doing that for you, so you don't get lazy and complacent.

You should be happy nobody is just handing you damp room temperature content.

I have had to hunt down my own chicken ...... was much younger wouldn't /couldn't do it now ,and I have chased down a bull with a broom ,but that was totally different .....told the owner who was my landlord ,that if that thing went after my kid again I was gonna have a Bar-B-Que and if he smelled meat cooking he better get here quick if he wanted some ....... he offered to hire me ......now I'll take the Big Mac ,no sauce please

That kind of search feature would be nice, do a single search and everything related to that product will appear. That's a darn good idea and a feature request should be done. It's hard enough to find things now as it is so the basics still have a few bugs, but they're working on it the last I heard. Also, would be really nice if you could filter by PA in DIM.

No sauce... but then how will it be damp?
By the way, you probably know it, but I wasn't being serious back there... I agree with you on what should be a very basic feature... one which unless I'm mistaken is the point of things like "Tags"... it's something that should have been done years ago.

Not having that feature probably took sales away from lots of PAs... not just the people who make add-ons, but the people who make the original product... I'm sure lots of people have looked at a product and thought "that's nice... maybe"... then looked around to see what add ons there are and went... "Hmmm... nah, three things... Megh... not really what I was looking for"... but in fact there were five or six things, that just didn't show up...

You look at product discussions where someone is looking for something "like this" and very often you'll see someone offer a link and multiple people will be like "that went right in my cart... I didn't know that existed!"... I'm sure they aren't all search impaired, it's just that finding stuff here sucks... I know I've accidentally come across things long, long after I've needed them... where it's too late and it's a lost sale for both the original model and the add on.

But it is what it is and I seriously doubt it will change any time soon.

You seem to have fixed the problem, but it's worth mentioning that sometimes the it could be the contacts on the lightning connector and other times the cable going bad...

The contacts are easy to clean if they get filthy... the cable usually develops a problem on the lightning connector end (not the usb) because Apple's strain relief is practically useless... the strain relief is a portion of a wire that thickens where the wire gets a lot of stress or flexing... usually by the plug or before it goes into a device or tool... Apple's is usually the first part of the wire to fail and is super thin... and the actual wire, while very flexible, which is good, tends to fall apart and split near the connector, which will eventually damage the super thin wires underneath.

Usually I reinforce my cables with heat shrink tubing once they start to look like they are splitting or worn... I got sick of spending $14 - $20 for new Apple certified wires every time the break and I don't actually care what they look like as long as they still work...

This is an extreme example because I'm not letting this one die... I don't care if it's a 3" diameter rod of solid heat shrink tube layers, it's not getting the last laugh... and even as I keep adding to it you can see the original wire sheath splitting in new places...

Most of the ones I've fixed look a lot better because they aren't as crappy as this one was... especially since I found white heat shrink tubing in different sizes.

My wife bought a cable with a braided nylon wire similar to this one...

    https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Nylon-Braided-Lightning-Cable/dp/B082T59WL2/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=Braided+Lightning+Cable&qid=1633280149&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExUlo4WFcyUUpVSkkzJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDQ5MjA4VkxDMlhISVZPNUhNJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAxMTQ2OTIyVEw0RFhHNk04OVpGJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

It might even be that same one, but I don't recall it having the Amazon logo... the braided nylon is good because it's very durable and flexible and so far hasn't fallen apart and there are lots of companies making them now.

The only complaint I'd have with them is they get dirty easy and can get ratty looking like old shoelaces.

Oh yeah I know you weren't serious ,no problem there .and yes I've seen those threads......... you'd think after all this time  though .....urgh!!! Things like why does so much stuff like props stuff end up in the Environment folder? instead of the props folder? Lately I've been saving stuff  from Object format into DAZ Studio ,and saving them as Support Asset Figure/Prop ,there is a huge list of things to save items as .....that should be used but aren't ..... frustration is building ......I'm gonna shut up now .

Funny observation... I think the spelling mistake "tge" (instead of "the") is now officially a word in the eyes and algorithms of spellcheckers... I think so many people using social media who don't use spellcheckers or edit their crappy writing have put that mistake out there enough that when spellcheckers update for commonly used words, tge is used enough that it's assumed to be an actual word and spell check now ignores it.

Long live "The"... down with "tge"!

...I even use Word to enter my comments and replies in social media (particularly Farcebook where if you use the return key to make a paragraph break, it submits the comment).

Here it's because the forum spell check sucks, along with the frequent gateway errors from Clodflare, and I have my own custom dictionary set up in Word.

The difficult part is being dyslexic and for example, accidentally typing "form" when I meant of "from" as both are legitimate words and thus slip through the spell check. I guess i could use the grammar check but that doesn't often work when using more colloquial forms (which are commonly used in day to day conversation and fiction writing)

I remember years ago when I was working on a Sci-Fi  short story in an older version of Word, it would always annoyingly autocorrect the name for one of the alien races to "Serbian".  I guess it' was a harbinger of what was to come down the road as my latest story does indeed involve Serbia.

Non-Complaint, lots of meaningful baseball games today.  Found a sports bar willing to change a channel away from the NFL.  Chaos - I want a Giants/Dodgers tie breaker for the NL west, and 4 teams tied for the 2 AL wildcard slots.  Then there would be more baseball on Monday.

In the Gallery, plus a link to a folder with the custom textures if anyone else would like them as well

Maybe you had that pumpkin dream again last night (you can't remember it though) and subconsciously you are nervous about Halloween being a few weeks away and you don't want to end up on a porch with a candle inside of you... I'm assuming you were the pumpkin... that's usually the way the pumpkin dream goes... of course I could be wrong, but the odds of that are extremely low.
Wait... Sorry... the calculator was upside down...
The odds are... oh... extremely high...
    Megh.
Well, it was a good guess...

Thoughts of wisdom from my book of wise quotes...

"One swallow does not make a summer, nor too does one turtle make a ninja, so it is better not to swallow turtles in the summer". -Aristotle (maybe)

Or if you don't like ancient Greeks...

"Which is the truer freedom? To be free to do as one feels, or to be as free as a cookie sample in the grocery store?" -Voltaire (probably)

Edited to add (a couple of hours later)...

"If one can not chew gum and walk at the same time, it is best they not get on the self-checkout line"
    - by Me (definitely)
