Toothpaste like other things, goes on sale or can be found through discount houses.  If you're talking about a toothpaste that is designed to cover porus holes in the exposed areas of teeth roots then something like "Sensodyne" works quite well.  My sensitive teeth (bothered particularly by cold things) stopped giving me trouble almost as soon as I started using Sensodyne regularly.  It really works.  Also, other companies are now producing a version of their own toothpastes that does the same thing.  Tiny little particles just the right size to get jammed in the porus toothroot openings.  Very simple idea but it works.  But you do have to keep using that toothpaste to keep the pores blocked.

Also, toothpaste doesn't have to be expensive.  It doesn't take much on the brush to be effective.  A dollop the size of a pea is adequate.  Helps stretch the tube for a long time.

Oh it is just like the one you mentioned but I didn't bother to look up correct spelling. I'll get it after I eat dinner.

Also flossing regularly will help keep your gums from receding so far that your teeth roots hurt from brushing or from slamming a good cold iced tea or a Slurpee.

My hygenist says that most people don't floss enough.  The choice is really simple, she says..."just floss around the ones you want to keep!"

    Hey, that is simple!  laugh

Non-complaint:  Wheee..., My 10' long, 4k@60Hz rated, HDMI cable has arrived and has replaced the almost too short 6' cable.  And yay, it works just as well! smiley  My cable is now routed out of sight, and my lab benches are again presentable for visiting guests.yes

Non-complaint:  Wheee..., I finally was able to upgrade the BIOS on my baby-bear computer.  Finally found the three little words cleverly hidden in the motherboard's user's manual that identified the correct USB port to be used in conjunction with the Asus "BiosFlashback" method of forcing a BIOS update.  Couple of other hoops to jump through too, but once I had the correct BIOS file downloaded, unzipped, name changed, USB stick formatted with FAT32, and the stick stuck into the correct USB port it worked just like the manual said it would in all the bits and pieces of that information scattered throughout the f'n manual.indecision

Yay!  Perhaps now it will behave a little better and might even resolve my dual monitor unstableness (see earlier post).  Wheee...smiley

The motherboard, an Asus "TUF Gaming B450M-Plus-II" is the one that I was forced to buy along with my RTX-3060 graphics card (that was put into my papa-bear DAZing machine) after winning in a "NewEgg Shuffle" lottery.  If I wanted that 3060 at near MSRP (i.e. nearly unobtainium) I had to buy the motherboard too.angry  It came new and I eventually sucessfully built a functional machine out of it.  But when I realized that it might need a BIOS update I discovered that its BIOS version was WAY behind.  It came with BIOS version #0309 and the current version is #3202.  So, perhaps the motherboard was really old stock gathering dust on the shelves and NewEgg used the lottery to clean off their shelves.

...in an earlier post you mentioned the 3060 in teh main system has 8 GB of VRAM.  Is that the Ti version (the standard 3060 should have 12 GB but fewer cores)?

I was considering the non Ti version as it's MSRP was only 329$ (of course before all the pricing craziness) as it is pretty close to my Titan-X (which will likely be dropped from Iray support in a year or so as smaller Maxwell cards are already depreciated) in specs and performance, however with the addition of a faster GPU chip, RTX/Tensor cores, and faster GDDR6 VRAM.

Sorry KK.  I just now saw your post.  You're right, my 3060 does have 12GB.  I've been browsing catalogs too much lately and the numbers in my head get knocked about a bit and the wrong ones fall out unintentionally.  The actual card is an ASUS "TUF Gaming, GeForce, RTX3060".  This: https://www.newegg.com/p/1FT-000Y-00651?Description=ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Graphics Card TUF-RTX3060&cm_re=ASUS_TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Graphics Card TUF-RTX3060-_-9SIAPMXFE70681-_-Product&quicklink=true

I'd won a NewEgg "Shuffle" and was able to get the graphics card and an Asus TUF Gaming B450M-Plus-II AMD motherboard for $650 which, considering the price of the motherboard of about $100, made the cost of the graphics card out to be about $550 instead of the $1400 it was at the time.  And as you can see by today's NewEgg catalog price it's still $800.surprise

That B450M-Plus-II motherboard eventually became my baby-bear machine.  The RTX3060 graphics card went into my papa-bear machine.yes

...nice, that additional 4 GB will come in handy.  The Ti version pretty much trades off VRAM for more cores and better frame rate, however the latter means nothing to me as I am not into games.

Yeah this whole price and availability issue like we had five years ago with the release of the Pascal generation is a real drag. My one concern is as my main MB only supports PCIe 2.0, not sure if a PCIe 4.0 card will work or be much better.  Just can't afford a full upgrade to something more "SOTA" which means a new MB, CPU, memory, and becoming an unpaid guinea pig for MS.

Helicarriers were only feasible in the MCU because they have access to impossible technology like ARC reactors. A real-world helicarrier would either require a staggering amount of fuel that is constantly replenished or a nuclear reactor, which I believe would also require a commensurate amount of constantly-replenished water with the technology currently available. Bear in mind that either solution would also add a huge amount of weight.

I felt like I was so tired all day. I walked about a thousand steps to stay awake but now I feel like I can't sleep. Though bed time is in about an hour to an hour and a half.

I checked one of my product sales, and it has sold 315 times since release.  I checked the freebies that I made to go along with it, and they have been downloaded over 1500 times...hmmmmm.  frown  I am going to assume folks like the freebies so much they downloaded them 5x each!

...ah well, another day, more money saved as all the special deals require purchasing at least one new bundle. Used to be just one new item.

OK there was one nice set of shaders for under 3$ as one of the PC items for the week and the two freebies

Do the freebies actually require the paid item?  If so, perhaps they're just planning ahead.  If not, well...they're free!  smiley

Unfortunately, yes...which means 1500 people have a use for a freebie that only works on a product that "officially" sold only 315 times.  Alternatively, maybe they can be used as digital firestarters or something I am not aware of?  :)

It's conceivable that people downloaded the freebie without realizing that it required another item to work. After all, the number of downloads tells you nothing about how many people use it, and I doubt there's any mechanism for returning the freebie, which most probably wouldn't do anyway.

Complaint: My mom has Covid, along with her boyfriend and my grandma. My mom never got the vaccine because she is immunocompromised. It's really upsetting that she's sick. Thankfully she is still ok enough to be at home at this time. She's got fatigue, cough, fever and can't taste or smell anything. I had to convince her to get tested. She coughs a lot when she tries to talk so I haven't been calling. I just want her to rest up and get better. :(

I am not close with my mom's mom (my east coast grandma) but I hope her and my mom's boyfriend get better too. Please stay safe, guys. We're not out of the woods yet.

So sorry to hear that, certaintree38.  I hope she comes through without much sickness.  They do have treatments that help now.

Complaint:  Graphic card prices.frown  I've been looking to upgrade the graphics card in my baby-bear computer.  Currently using a GT-730 that I had vegetating in a storage box, but it doesn't support resolutions above HD (1080p).  I'd like a card that will properly support my 2K monitor (1440p).  I don't need a super DAZing card, this is, after all, just my baby-bear machine. So, I figure a 1030 card would do the trick.  Trouble is, prices for 1030 cards range from $109 to $217 (today).  Which makes me wonder what's wrong with the cheaper ones?  Or is it the expensive ones that are being force fed to us?  Even a "refurbished" one was advertised at Amazon for nearly $200.surprise

I'm losing trust in the marketplace.sad
