Damn it, I waited too long to go to bed, and now I can't sleep.

I can't believe I spent 90 dollars on some air pods.

    @Gordig...

Look up my posts, if you don't fall asleep or just go unconscious after or while reading them, then you need to seek immediate professional medical treatment.

Disclaimer: Exposure to my writing can lead to permanent brain confuzzlement and/or gassy goat syndrome.

Why do they all feel the need to always stress "professional medical treatment" in medicine commercials...  it's not like you see places that advertise as being "amateur"... Megh... scratch that ponderment, I forgot about 2019-2020 and social media in general... that was funnier twenty years ago before every doctor had two thousand stories about idiots who got their medical advice from master idiots on FaceBook.

    Go to sleep.

Some? Like a box of random air pods?... and why are they "Air Pods" and not "Ear Pods"?... it's going to screw up the naming protocol when Apple releases the Eye Pods and Brain Pod...

I did finally fall asleep around 0700 PST (less than four hours ago), but then the cat had some opinions about when he should be fed, and my wife's out of town.

Non-complaint: My new Asus MZ27AQ monitor arrived and looks nice.

Complaint: While selecting the sRGB function appears to provide fairly good color calibration, I can't find anyway to tweak the calibration.

So, the parcel was for a neighbour, and the error was corrected by the driver. It would've been nice to have a note put through the door, "Sorry, I messed up. The parcel wasn't for you. I'll be going to an optician next week as I can't tell the difference between the numbers 48 and 52". Oh... I've had a "Victor Meldrew moment. I even read that in his voice.

Mmm... Chicken Satays. I haven't had those for a few years.

Personalised bullet necklace. How cool! I just hope Royal Mail won't have a problem handling the bullets (they've got holes drilled in them - So I don't think they'll be doing much damage...).

Cat toys shaped like "anatomical elements"!? If cats take over one day, that's probably something they won't be forgiving the human race for: "Playing with anatomical elements? You've shared pictures that made us look like anatomical elements! GUILTY AS CHARGED!"

EDIT: I'm loving the new forum font. I wonder if its unique to Daz, or if its avaliable somewhere on the net...?

I have a lot to do but I don't feel well.

I don't know why I don't feel that well.  I did just eat some dinner.

I find this new phone better than my last phone.  At least I can do emojis now.  laugh  Now I wish the forums had more of them.

How can you leave feedback about a seller on Amazon. When the package is handled, dispatched, and delivered by Amazon itself/themselves *delete as appropriate*.

I'd love to have more evenings like this. It's been pretty productive. On the downside, I'm missing my cat.

Non-complaint:  Wheee..., yesterday I got a bee in my bonnet and finally decided to clean behind my bookcase.  Which of course involved carefully removing the dozens pieces of my mineral collection display, then unloading all the books, dusting the top & shelves, walking the bookcase away from the wall and watching all the old cobwebs (dusty spiderwebs) flutter down into the dark gloom.frown

A flashlight revealed a virtual clutter pile of colored toothpics, pens, bent wire stands for holding specific stones in place, and even a framed award that had fallen off the wall hook and slipped down behind the case two years ago.surprise

With the bookcase moved sufficiently from the wall I was able to get my wonderful Dyson vacuum stick in there to make short work of the big stuff.  Then used its wedge nozzle to come to the rescue, sucking up little crap from the corners and edges, and also to make short work of the daddy longlegged spider who came out to complain about the disturbance.  (*slurp*).  But getting the toothpicks out of the nap of the rug and from being wedged under the wall/floor crack proved difficult until I got my long kitchen jar & can manipulator arm for putting cans high on the shelves, into play delicately picking each toothpick up with the edges of the rubber grippers.  ('Twas easier than getting on my hands & knees and crawling on the floor.)cheeky

In the end I got my award rehung, the shelves and books have been dusted, the minerals have been neatly and more attractively laid out on top of the bookcase.yes  And while I had access to the wall behind the case I even stuffed rags into the 3 foot long, 3/4 inch gap between the fake wood paneling.  Which is, I'm sure, how the bees I was infested with last year got in.indecision

Complaint:  Oh, my aching back, knees, ankles, feet.  So much bending, so much lifting, so many birthdays.frown

complaint  celery with no blue cheese or spniach dip.  why bother?

Even with the blue cheeze dip, why bother (with the celery)?  I mean...ya ain't got carrots, broccolli, or even a big ol stinky vidalia onion?  At least those things have FLAVOR to go with the Blue Cheese!

If all I had was celery, these would the the only questions worth asking:

    1.  "Do I have lettuce, onion, tomato, bacon, steak, chicken, broccolli, or pizza to put this wonderful Bleu Cheese on?"

    2.  If the answer to 1 is "no", then I'd ask this:  "Where's my spoon?"

    3.  But if the answer is, "no but I have this celery here", then my next question would be:  "Who's trying to poison me with this plastic?", because quite honestly, there's never celery in my house, unless hitches a ride in some mixed spice jar, a low-quality tartar sauce, or a premade salad dressing.

I don't mind celery if I can't taste it or detect the texture of it.  But if I taste celery in food in MY HOUSE, there's gonna be trouble and it's gonna start with the garbage disposal!

Don't try to fly anywhere while wearing it.  Even with no powder in the cartridge, TSA agents are not too bright, and if you get the wrong agent, they'll turn you away or make you throw it in the garbage WHILE THEY WATCH.  Either leave it at home or pack it into your checked luggage.

What style bonnet goes well with leather?  cheeky

I have a couple of "grabbers" scattered around the house, and even have obtained or made a couple of tools to make pool cleaning or other tasks require less kneeling.  I'm always on the hunt for a better grabber.  What kind do you use?

...  And while I had access to the wall behind the case I even stuffed rags into the 3 foot long, 3/4 inch gap between the fake wood paneling.  Which is, I'm sure, how the bees I was infested with last year got in.indecision

Why not soak that rag with some raid or even a horticultural oil before stuffing it in the gap?  Believe me, I love bees and make sure that I have plants that will encourage them to come.  But NOT in my house, and yes, I would take out a nest if that was the safest way for me to be .. well, safe.

Complaint:  Oh, my aching back, knees, ankles, feet.  So much bending, so much lifting, so many birthdays.frown

It's not "just" the number of birthdays.  Is there anything you can do to increase your physical fitness?  I'm about to start working out again myself.

Non-complaint: I got "later today shipping" just now for only $3. It's a plushie for my mom, so I wanted her to have it ASAP. Not having to pay $20 to make that happen is awesome.

If I'm not mistaken you can color regularly with those  and then go back over where you color with a wet brush to soften the colors ,depending on what kind of paper you are using .......
