Hello, I have a question if anyone can help out it'd be amazing. I've been messing with softbody simulation in Diffeomorphic and I've got it all working in viewport, got the settings where I want them all and added shrinkwrap for the clothes to conform to the body to fix the poke through issue. After getting it all working I tried to render it but I've been messing with it for 2 days and I can't figure out for the life of my why it wont show in the render. I have the simulations baked and I have it set to be visible in render in the physics tab, but it doesnt show anything in either Eeeve of Cycles durring the final render. It does however show fine in render mode preview mode, I'm at a complete loss here.
Incase you'd like to know I'm using an RTX 2060 Super and an RTX 3090 and Ryzen 9 5900x
I never really had this problem before, but now it's happening and it's driving me insane. Every time i try to import my character to convert to Rigify i get this every time, what's shown on the photos. I had put all the files where they needed to be i believe. I am working in Blender 3.5 and i have Daz ver 4.20. Any help would be appreciated.
@Novel777777 Only reason I can think of is if you use morphing armatures. You may try some basic simulation, without diffeomorphic, and see if it renders fine. Of course the mesh for the simulation needs to be visible in render.

@helielfilmz Does it happen only with a specific figure or with any figure ? What version of diffeomorphic are you using ? You may try to update to the dev version and do a clean install.

It happened with all the figures that i imported so far. I have tested with the regular gen 8 standard model and other modified gen 8 characters. Rightnow i am backing up my Daz folder to uninstall (It's going to be a minute 35+ gigs being backed up to a hdd) then i am going to uninstall/reinstall Daz. I have Diffeomorphic ver. 1.70. I have done a new install today and it's still acting up. I think it's a issue with Daz though. I will let you know once i reinstall everything back and give it another go
Nope, I can confirm that the standard G8F works fine here so it must be something in your installation. Test scene included g8f.duf. You can try it yourself just to be sure we're on the same boat, but it's a fresh g8f just loaded in a empty scene.
Here's a clean install, and the rigify rig still won't bind to the gen 8 rig, also here are photos of the locations of where the Diffeomorphic files are. Please help me find the culprit to end this it's been very stressful when all i am trying to do is make a film
I see you export HD. Actually there's a bug with easy import of HD figures, now reported. Everything works fine with the standard import. Personally for animation I'd not use HD anyway because it is very demanding on the hardware but that is your choice. Below there's the easy import settings I'd use for original animation in blender with rigify.
Let me know if this works for you.

When converting to MHX, the pectoralis and clavicle bones behave strangely. If you pose with X symmetry enabled, the bones move in opposite directions from each other. Diffeo and MHX version 1.71
Update: Same with Rigify. This is not an MHX problem. It's a problem with the importer. Checked Diffeo version 1.7 and it works fine.
I have attached a screenshot of the problem showing the inverted bone. Same with pectoralis
That bug was fixed please get the latest commit.
Hi! I have some problems with genesis 9 pose imorting. It doesnt imort poses properly. It kind a impors but pose is wrong and it goes weirdly. Should I tick the option called ''optimise pose for IK in'' in import menu?
It depends. Poses in daz studio are quite complex and they may include morphs too. If the pose only affects bones then it should import fine. If the pose also affects morphs then you have to import the needed moprhs or the pose will not work, in this case you should get a warning for missing morphs in the console.
Please note that body morphs are not compatible with ik so you can only load them on the daz rig.
Then if you're sure you did it all right and that's a bug you can report it at bitbucket for Thomas to check.

Okay but what does ''optimise IK for pose'' actualy do? I mean should I use that option on my normal imports. Or it has some spesific use.

do you have advice for fittin high heel shoes that I already imported characters? I mean when I import character I import morphs fix materials and keep it here. After when I want to change clothes I import another file and copy clothes than use corrections and change armature. It works well but only problem is high heeled shoes because they have pose to fit shoes. So how can I solve this without having seperate file just because I want to change shoes?
Personally I use a separate duf file for every figure variation, because it's easier. But Thomas explained how to change outfits, including shoes.

Hey all

Last night something happent and something get broken I guess. Because I cant import dictator or golden place materials with diffeo. It was working just fine idk what happens. Not its just importing textures without shell materials. I have tried all import options (material settings extended pricble, single princble etc). I tried to uninstall and re install diffeo but didn't worked. Tried with different characters but its same. It works fine with genesis 8 characters. So Im not sure what is happening. Im asking because Im confused where to check.. Anyone have any idea where should I look for solution? I also tried copying my old material from old blender file to new one but it looks like new imported mesh doesn't have uv for it. No dictator uv or golden place so idk what is my problem excaly that's why I cant find solution.
I mean I don't get dictator or golden place shell material node group with gen 9 but it works with gen 8 or 8.1. It was working but that happens just this day..
@yarfi3453 You can try a clean install of the addon: uninstall in blender, then delete the addon folders, then install again. Be sure to get the latest version since there are important recent fixes for G9 I mean today.
@rugeyohe From your description I understand you didn't change anything and suddently G9 doesn't work anymore. Probably something happened in your daz library, you may try reinstalling the geografts for G9.
https://bitbucket.org/Diffeomorphic/import_daz/downloads/
@Padone Thats true. I remmeber now when I started daz it kinda asked me for update than my dazlibarys was gone. So I set them up again. So probably that's why its happening? I installed the file you send it on your comment to blender mod files. I just replaced them but it didn't helped. Also its new update I guess? Global settings was kind a different than my version. I couldn't even save my global settings presets it was weird. There was presets on up section even if created new one it always resets and haven't seen any save button. Whatever.. My problem is still there.. Is there anything I can try to do other than replacing files that you send in comments? I just copied them and paste them into blender addons folder btw..
I mean you have to reinstall the G9 geografts in the daz library, not the diffeomorphic addon. Do the G9 geografts work in daz studio ? It may also be that you reinstalled some content via connect instead of dim, in this case you have to update the daz library paths in the diffeomorphic global settings, or reinstall with dim.

@Padaone I have reinstalled everything. Geografts and diffeo even blender.. Also everything works fine in daz, its just not working when I import to blender. There is no geoshell nodes. I even deleted everything I mean all blender files or diffeo but when I install again everything same. I suspect its because of global settings section. Even if I clean install them again they are still same settings. Where are they store and how can I delete them and clean them? I also should say that other geoshells works fine. Like I have tried gen 9 nipples and navels geoshelss or genesis 8 dictator or golden places they all work its just g9 genitals. I think I will reset my PC from fresh start if I cant figure this out.. Thats so strange.
Make the scene as small as possible to reproduce the issue, then upload the duf file with a list of the assets you use. I can give it a look and tell if it works on my side, or why it doesn't if this is the case.
Hi, I'm trying ti import a male figure in blender with dicktator attached. However once in blender it looks slightly detached in cycles but okay in eevee. In addition to that I've noticed that even the veins on the entire character (not only from dicktator) are missing. Any help please?
If you use geografts with HD figures then there's a seam on the border, this is the same in daz studio and it's visible in the viewport, because the displacement is not blended with the figure. As for eevee it doesn't show the geograft seam or HD details because eevee doesn't support displacement, you have to convert to normal maps instead that's possible with the HD tools in diffeomorphic.

This is an awesome tool. I needed to make a character in blender for a simple infographic and it worked almost straight away. Thank you Thomas! And Padone for your help here.
I sailed passed most things easily that I needed, but I am left with one question. I want to use the "breast control" morphs in Blender to simulate a push up behaviour in clothes. It succesfully applied them in the finished import, but I don't see how or where I can change the values (I found all the other properties easily like FACS control and other pose controls)
I mostly followed the tutorials found at : https://diffeomorphic.blogspot.com/p/advanced-morph-section-version-16.html
But I am still a bit stuck. Any help would be much appreciated!
@Paintbox when you import as dbz the figure morphs are baked so you don't see them in blender. The idea is that you bake the actor morphs then import the morphs you need for animation as custom morphs. The easy way to do this is with easy import using "daz favorites". There's also "baked correctives" if you need the exact daz morphs for a custom figure.
You may want to refer to the wiki rather than the old 1.6 documentation.
