Manually downloading and installing products from my product library is time consuming. Maybe I should us the Daz Install Manager instead.

This is possibly one of the creepiest compositions I've done. :ahhh: :gulp:

It's the first 3 minutes off a seven-minute track. Enjoy!

Sounds like a scene in a horror movie, where they're exploring a dark, creepy, basement or cave and something's lurking, watching.

thinks i'se starting to understand pwsurface2 a little bit.
select the figure, then select surfaces in surface tab.
apply --neutral-- first. it adds slots in a new surface category 'artificial light'.

Still 'unno what to do about the C4D thing. Part of me is reluctant to contact Support, since what if I have to make a phonecall or something? They might not even offer downloads for R13 anymore either (It *is* three versions behind at this point)

I could just get R16, but I'd have to save for a few months without spending like, anything. And I like getting art-things from people so that keeps draining money haha...
Rheee, I looked at Lightwave but I'd have to learn a new interface and all whatnot, plus no Indigo support D:

Not tryng to pick on the programmers/developers for Daz Studio but Daz Studio 4 crashed. I thought I closed the program (executable) but the process continued running for 20 minutes. I was wondering why the computer's fan was running fast. I had to close the process using the Windows task manager. Maybe there is a bug with a shader or something. I'll look for the log files. Daz studio also left 600 MB worth of TDL files in the temporary folder.

Yeah, when it takes a long time to close it usually means it's still cleaning up the temp folder.

Now i feel a need for the sun. It's shining brightly here so I'm headed to the Corner for my Sunday paper and cigs. If anything gets me, it's all Troutface's fault. Thanks for sharing.

Made it to the Corner and back yesterday without any ghouls getting me. There was a shirt in the bottom of the creek though. Probably left over from Troutface's music. The weather was so nice that I worked in the flower bed until dark. No 3-year old today so I should get lots of things done (only if I stay off-line).

Clear blue sky here in Austin, a bit chilly but warming rapidly.

Yaay! 2 of the 3 things I need to construct my WiFi wireless environment monitor have shipped from Texas Instruments! :cheese:

Soon I'l be learning how to do wireless networking!

..or I'll set something on fire... :gulp:

Seriously considering moving to some place closer to work, on a bus line that runs more often. The bus near my place only runs once every hour, it's hard to get to shopping, and it's not the best neighborhood. The place I'm looking at is on a major bus line, has a bar/restaurant, is about 20 minutes via bus to work, and it's only $10/week more than where I'm staying. It's not near my fave bar, but since my fave bartender quit.. I go a LOT less. :-S There's also a place 1/2 a block from a Sonic, chili dog heaven! :cheese:

Will drop in something this week to check the place out. :)

You must be on the change-over edge of the storm. It's all snow here. 33 F and feels like 27 F. It started snowing last night and hasn't stopped. Last report I saw had it continuing until around midnight tonight. More shoveling tomorrow. :blank:
