Dayum, that's some nasty weather!!! :bug:
Friday the 113trh., my lucky day! :cheese:
One complaint - cold this morning, had to cab it to work. :shut:
Tons of non-complaints!
- Have Velton's coffee, drip cone, and filters in the office! No more craptastic office coffee!
- Got paid and had money to donate to my fave Website :cheese:
- Going to hit 59F today, 65F tomorrow! :)
- Should be a quiet, productive day at work
- Fancy work socks arrive tomorrow :)
- Recording music all weekend wheeeeeeee :cheese:
- Burger King for lunch - WHOPPER EXTRA PICKLE! :cheese:
Today is a pretty decent day, so far.. of course SOMETHING will ruin it.. :blank:
I'd believe it when I saw it.. :smirk:
I remember one February when my daughter was in high school we hit 100 one day, snowed the next.
Windless and clear around 40K West of the city, looks the same Eastwards altho a storm can blow in from the bay (south) real quick it doesn't look likely right now. Just wrapped here and on way home, TGIF yay ! Central and West Australia is the place to be in January if you like it that hot, everyone who can gets away from the East coast after Christmas the storms can be massive that time of year :)
Hot? Well, here it's 9 F right now, and feels like -5 F! And............Blizzard Warning for the coastal areas, and Winter Storm watch for the rest of the state. My area is expected to get another 6 to 12 inches...Boston is expecting another 12 to 18 inches. I've been watching the news, and I don't know where they'll put it. They still can't get around very well up in Boston. Some streets are too narrow after being plowed. And the T (transit system) is having all kinds of troubles. People have waited for 1.5 to 2.5 hours for the T to arrive, only to give up because it just wasn't coming. Even the buses are at a reduced schedule and are packed to capacity. If the storm tracks a little more to the west, my area will change to the 12 to 18 inch forecast. My fantasy is that it tracks so far Eastward that it goes out into the middle of the Atlantic and misses up entirely. But, as I said...fantasy.

Not superstitious, but my dad passed away on Friday the 13th, in July of 2007.

Well, when I was living there, we did get some snow.. so I suppose it's probable..

Boston snow problems even hit the news in East Texas .
Boston Snow
Just made my first cup of coffee at the office! :cheese: Yum, soooo much better than office coffee!
Got a lot of weird looks, one guy was brave enough to ask me about it.. apparently Oklahoma isn't full of coffee snobs (heh).
The drip device uses true conical cones and has a HUGE hole at the bottom.. the coffee drips through slowly, though, thanks to the special, imported-from-Japan cone filters (urgh). I think I'm going to get a second one of the drippers and put my Melitta away as a backup, I really like the way this one operates more than the Melitta.
My trip to Australia will be expensive. A one way plane ticket costs $1100 and the flight takes 10 to 15 hours depending on the originating airport. Maybe I should go to Texas in the winter instead. The weather in Texas looks comfortable this time of year.
Shopping therapy!
Got the Inked V5 and picked up the Dragon Forge for FREE! W00t! :cheese:
*edit* Got a new backpack on the way - large, with wheels and a handle! PERFECT for moving around! :cheese:
Bored, bored, want to go home.. stuck here another hour.. sad sad..
Yeah, it is a nice day to be outside instead of in the office for 8 hours.
Complaint:
Lately my dreams end my sleep by giving me silly things to solve in which the parameters keep changing. When I realize what's going on, I always think "this must be a dream" which wakes me up.
Way to mess with my REM sleep, you stupid brain! :-/

Yeah, I saw that on the news last night. I think it was last night. It's beginning to all be a blur.
Dana
That's complaint worthy!
I have odd dreams quite often. I wake up quite often, too. Not as bad as it was in 2007, though. It's calmed down a bit.

Morning. Luminous pale grey overcast giving up gentle rain to wash away city grime and make stuff smell nice again :)

No. Although, that would be weird, too.

Middle of Summer right now, a few weeks of heat left before the south wind starts to blow steady again. Stuff is looking real dry and yellow, difficult to imagine it was ever green
I went ahead and did so :)
+1 :)
That's some colourful eating there :)
