I have to accept an EULA in order to access my items again?

Maybe Daz updated the end user license agreement?

    New complaint! :shut:

I need to get my BandCamp site up and roaring, as you can't sell your tracks via SoundCloud.

So much to do, so much time.. lol..

I have to start trying to sell some music, maybe create an EP for a buck or something.. learn how to market and promote myself.. argh.

Oh well, it's easier and more fun than writing! :cheese:

Eventually should sell through Amazon as well.. I have an account for selling stuff there.. :blank:

It's a freaking full time job!

Now if you can only get it paying like a full-time job. :)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA  I wish! Event the best ambient artist I know just makes enough to live comfortably, it's a VERY niche market, but I'm doing a lot better with it than I did my writing... :shut:

If I can earn enough for a six of beer and a pizza twice a month, I call that success! :cheese:

*edit* BandCamp page now wired into my Facebook band page.. that was not too headche-inducing.. :blank:

where do I sign up ?

This SHOULD get you to my FB band page:

    https://www.facebook.com/pages/Synthetic-Aurality/292418434302205

..this is the music project blog..

    http://syntheticaurality.blogspot.com/

I'm going to try to keep the FB page and the blog updated at least weekly. Work, work, workkkkkkkk.. :smirk:

    Need beer now... *cry*

Hey those links seem to work. Not on FB but I would paypal subscribe to whatever would keep the music coming. Don't know whether that is even feasible but would be happy to do that, your tracks have bought a lot of pleasure the past few years :)

more or less how we feel about snow here as well :)

If you are talking about the Bullet physics in Carrara, it just works, which often confuses ppl about Bullet. All you needs to know is the category you put an object into, rigid, static, kinematic, or whatever Carrara calls them, will determine its relationship with another one. A kinetic object is always going to bounce on a rigid object, for example. Then its just a matter of how much bounce which is what all those other parameters are about :) Other stuff that's easy to forget is turning dynamics on and having gravity set to zero (floaty) when it should be set to 9 meters/second/second or thereabouts, and setting the wrong axis of directional force like for instance setting gravity up not down. Another trap is the objects are too small: Bullet likes solid (geometry without manifolds) objects between about 1meter and 30 meters in any direction, if the objects are too big or small Bullet sometimes looks like its been tuned off.

I bought the C 8.5 version but haven't had time to turn it on, might get a chance to look at it on the weekend :)

I wouldn't use bullet for that unless you want the airplane to asplode into a zillion bits.

Our friend, inspiration and co-worker Monty Oum passed away yesterday afternoon at 4:34 PM surrounded by people who loved him very much. Ten days ago Monty suffered a severe allergic reaction during a simple medical procedure that left him in a coma. Although he fought bravely, his body was not able to recover. During his time in the hospital he was well cared for and never in pain at any time.

    Stupid busy morning!

    - Updated Facebook
    - Upgraded to BandCamp Pro :cheese:
    - Started planning an EP (4 songs) release
    - Started re-reading "Scoring for Film and TV"
    - Blocked aside all weekend for music and Website work
    - Breakfast at McDs, actually the Big Breakfast wasn't too bad
    - Re-downloaded the DIM and will start DS re-install tonight (for album art)
    - Got into work and had the "nonfunctional" real-time clock working in an hour :bug:

Berklee College of Music has an online degree in Scoring for Film, TV, and Games.. bloody stupid expensive but it's 100% online and they're nationally accredited.. seriously considering it as trying to get a Computer Science degree when I know more than my teachers seems.. dim.. :blank:

Thinking of track pricing, I'm thinking.. USD$0.89 - 4 song EP for USD 1.99 and a standard album for between USD$4.99 and USD$6.99 (the longer, the more expensive). That seems affordable given most of my newer tracks are between 5 and 8 minutes long. :)

    exhausted by pistachios
moving on to carrots. later for lunch yogurt. it's gonna take some willpower to eat the raw spinach and greens before goes bad.

i saw a vray plugin for blender in the 500 range.
doesn't look like there's one for carrara, ds, or poser

my lust is really stuck on vray. if someone offered me free Octane or Indigo, i would prolly hold out for vray. OCD thing prolly.

    is lightwave rendering physical based?

i made it to work today, but Foxtrots are dropping again, prolly gonna miss another 2 days of work this week.
i felt like granny on the bus, was all younger peeps on the bus this morning.

my coworkers are playing with their rc-helocopters. i feel left out. there's an rc hovering in my doorway. lol
