I have installed the ++shapes for both m and V4 there are sliders for the body in parameters such as the the hands/fingers now but any shape ++ icons will not change the shapes of either of them or the morphs mentioned above, it must be that daz has not installed everything in the proper locations,
if someone can please show me a screen shot of how the folders locations and installations have to be maybe I can get it working good, thanks

As you were told in another thread, the poses are for adding the morphs - in Poser, for which the figures were originally made, the spaces are reserved by the exP files read on loading the figure but the morphs are not added. The INJ poses read in the data needed to use the morph, but they don't set it. In Daz Studio, unless you tweak the options in Power Loader, the morph data is available from load so the INJ poses have no effect.
Character INJ poses usually do aply the morphs as well as load them.
I didnt understand how to make this work in the last thread, it was kind of confusing so I wrote to tech support on Monday hoping I could get a more understandable way to fix the problem, but I didn't hear back from them as of yet, but I see you are saying that simply tweak the options in Power Loader and everything will work normal? ok that is great.
Can you pleased tell me how I will tweak the options in Power Loader , I have no idea how to use it, thanks Richard
Richard trying to figure it out with the help of this article, looks I am in the right plafce, have found M and V4, don't know what to do next though, also the only only morph AI see in the folders is the age morph but i have 2 age morph products and the creature morphs etite faces morphs and the M4 dinsticntive featuers, I dont see any of these, am I supposed to or tey are somewhere else? I do not see an icon for the CR2 file they talk about ion the thread is the CR2 file M4 itself? but I cant find it anyway, thanks for the help
You don't need to do anything. I am saying that the Inject Poses for these morphs are not needed in Daz Studio if you are using Power Loader, so ignore them. Just aply the morph (to the degree you want) in the Parameters pane or by applying a preset for a character that uses the morph set rather than a custom morph.
Richard, there is no morph in parameters for any morphs clicked and nothing changes on the M or V4 either, that is what I was writing about last week, same issue-nothing happens, I was thinking that somehtings may have gotten installed in the rong place? do myou have any idea what it couyld be? thanks
Exactly which packages did you install, and how? For the morphs, as with the base figure, you need the Poser files for anything to happen.
V M4 shapes ++
V M4 elite faces
Aged forV M4
M4 creature morphs
they were all instaleld through daz central then i uninstalled through IM and reinstalled again thropugh IM
Where do I find the Poser files, were they installed but in the worng place, there is nothing in IM aside to be found saying poser files, but if they can be located where should they be installed?
So, do you get eh powerLoadre dialogue when importing the figure into Daz Studio? And does it show the V4 Elite Faces as ana vailable set, which you check?
I hope this is what you wanted to know, if not please tell me any images you need to see help fix this problem just tell me what to take
Could you be clear which products are under discussion? You've switched from Michael 4 to Victoria 4 and back again. That screen shot certainly doesn't show the Aging morphs, so it looks as if their Poser files are not installed.
Richard sorry for the confusion, I am trying to use both V4 and M4
Attached is the image of V4 opening dialgoue
here are the list of morphs I have purchased-none work except for the orc character for M4
skin overlay v4 m4 https://www.daz3d.com/skin-overlay-for-v4-and-m4-skin-sets
v4 M4 elite faces
https://www.daz3d.com/m4-v4-elite-ethnic-faces-bundle
Compatible Software: Poser, Daz to Blender Bridge- can this one be used in daz?
https://www.daz3d.com/aged-for-v4-m4
some freckles come on the skin, the aged body part works for V4, none of the face icons change the face for either M or V4
https://www.daz3d.com/distinctive-features-m4
https://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-creature-creator-morphs
https://www.daz3d.com/the-witch-and-the-warlock M4 and V4
https://www.daz3d.com/the-man-in-the-mirror M4 only
this says
Required Products: M4 Elite Ethnic Faces Hiro 4 Base Michael 4 Shapes++
Compatible Software: Poser
since it said M4 shapes ++ I thought it will work in daz since i have the M4++shapes and M4 Elite Ethnic Faces will it?
https://www.daz3d.com/roarc This morph for M4 does work
there is one more morph pac I got, it is to change eyes only, but the whole eye becomes white when applied
https://www.daz3d.com/actual-eyes-2
for V and M4
Did you use the DS material presets for those?
I didnt know what that is, where do I find that, I just click the icon in content library, thanks
i have installed most of the pacs first through daz central hen tried again through IM
I may need to use the INJ pose files, but where are tehy found, can someone tell me how to use them, do they show up in content library?
You screen shot has the Victoria 4 morphs expanded , which makes it impossible to see which other products may be listed there.
Here it is, Richard can you tell me or give me a link about INJ pose files, thanks
Unless the Elite Faces (in DIM) are the International Faces (in PowerLoader), which doesn't sound right, it looks as if they are not being picked up. Did all of these get installed to the same content directory? The ExP system doesn't work if split across different content directories.
INJ poses essentially load morph data into a channel, but that isn't needed with PowerLoader. If the channels are not there then the INJ pose will do nothing.
here it is
First, Victoria 4 and Michael 4 are not installed in ...\My Daz3D Library\People\, these are 12 year old characters that were made for Poser, and therefore the user facing files are placed in Poser directories ...\My Daz3D Library\Runtime\libraries\Character\DAZ People\
The second thing that comes to mind is, Do you Log in/Sign in to DS?
Pertti, I should move M4 and V4 from \My Daz3D Library\Runtime\libraries\Character\DAZ People\ --to-- \My Daz3D Library\People\ correct?can I know which folders exactly I should move, would you be able to show me a screen shot?
I do not have to log or sign in it is daz4.15
thanks
No, do not move them, since they are Poser characters, they are where they are supposed to be (if they in fact are there)
If you go to DS Preferences and look at the startup options, do you have checkmarks on any of the boxes?
Everything is checked on the startup page
M4 with all the morphs loads like the image
There can be files in My Daz3D Library\People too for some products which have DS materials though.
And you are checking the Parameters pane for the morph sliders?
Yes I've just checked again there are no morph sliders in parameters, there is not the morph tab under M4 and there is no morph slider in currently used
image didn't go through before, it loads with qall this now, stil lnone work of course
So none of the morphs have sliders in the Parameters pane? Please show the Advacned tab of the Power Loader dialogue.
Corrcect no slider at all in parameters pane anywhere
That means you are logging in to DS and you may have installed the products also within DS (with DAZ Connect) to an other location.
What do you see in Content Directory Manager when you expand all the paths like in my sample?
