OK, so the list of available morphs is present. Are you saying that when you slide the sliders nothing happens to the figure?

e.g. Here's what happens when I apply "Ogre" to 100% - note that it doesn't do anything to his head, you have to select the Head node and you get more morphs there (Attachments 2 and 3)

No, these sliders do function, they are for the body of creature creator, and aged hands but the not face.  When any face morph is selected no new slider appears in parameters and no change is noticed on M4. I do have an M4 character, his face does work anjd new slider appears in parameters when applied. No face/head morph works,  face/head morphs will only work with V4 and M4 characters such as Brooke 2.0 or Josef M4

I added the last two pics after (possibly) you had already replied. Can you show a screenshot of the morphs list when you select his head node please? (Like my second attachment)

I saved the Help->Troubleshooting->View Log File Pertti but when I tried t oattach it here it will not load as an attachment, can you tell me another way I can post it for you to see

    Maybe the log was too big for the forum software to handle, try this;

In DS, open the log, select everything on it (CTRL+A), delete everything and close the log, when the program asks if you want to save the changes, select save.
Close DS and wait a while for it to close completely (no longer running in the taskmanager) and start it up again.

Now you can load Michael 4 and once it has loaded, move some dials you find in the properties tab (as a test), open the log and save it somewhere you can easily find and attach it to your post

So if you click on the "Creature Creator"  line under Morphs/Shapes, do you or do you not see the sliders like in my second image above?

And if you do see them, what happens when you slide them?

No, I mean the morphs list when you have the Head node of the M4 figure selected (like my pictures 2 and 3 above).

Looks like you saved the day, I clicked on where you said and the dials are there, I put an elite face in and the dials are there also! thank you everybody for the help, I'm testing all the morphs, seeing at least one issue I can post later after I've tested tehm all well

I have plenty of sliders for g8 faces, seems this is 10 times more fun morphing M4 and V4 than G8 or is it just me?

So is (almost) everything working to your satisfaction now? (I hope so)

Basically these are some of the main differences between the "Millennium People" (V1 to V4 and the M2 to M4) and the Genesis ones:

    • When you load a Genesis figure, all the morphs from all the products you have installed are there ready and waiting as sliders in the Parameters tab (and many in the Shaping tab too) for you to twiddle as you wish. With the earlier figures they load "empty" and you add in morphs ("inject" them) to add the sliders, which can then be twiddled. The powerloader automates that loading, so you can load in all the morph packages you have at the start. But this doesn't actually change the shape until you start twiddling.
    • And importantly, the parameters under the Millennium figure itself are whole-figure morphs and body-only ones. Any morphs that come with separate head and body parts, you need to select the Head to apply those ones. For Genesis figures, all the morphs (as far as I am aware) show at the figure node level (though some are shown when you have the relevant body part selected too)

Some products (like Elite Characters, and presumably your Josef) will load and set the values in the morphs, just like the ones for Genesis figures generally do. But most morph packs are more do-it-yourself, like the Creature Morphs and Morphs++.

    Have fun!

    Ok, problem solved smiley

While reading your log though, I saw that DS is still complaining about the nested folders C:/Users/Public/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/Textures/Asteroids and C:/Users/Public/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/Runtime/weighted pose, you should remove those from the list of content directories in Content Directory Manager
