I have an account at pfdlives. That's Texture Challenge 37, and I just downloaded a copy - it's good.
When I host, I interpret that rule as "You must use legally-free downloads from at least ten different URLs." (Thus, the Tie On Fantasy Sleeves for Genesis and the Ballgown texture count as two freebies because downloads from two different pages are required, while the Necklace and Earrings for Toongirl Sadie counts as one freebie no matter how many jewelry items are used.) An exception is if a download is spread across multiple downloads for size reasons ("foo part 1/2" and "foo part 2/2" counts as one download).
Similarly, I interpret the "paid items" rule as "You may use paid items from no more than three URLs."
I write documentation for a living - I'd be willing to re-write the rules if people want me to.

Remembered I had not included the poses for my entry, I added in the one I used for V4, and the Genesis one is from the default set you get, the female walking one... is there a special way I should I link that?

Well just this one rule seems to need more clarification as it can be interpreted more than one way since what is meant by "freebie" is undefined. Is it a free item, free pack, free link, a model, prop, or texture which is free etc. Depending on what you feel a freebie is would depend on how you interpret that rule. In this case, I think just defining what is meant should be all the is needed, though if those that run the contest may want to review the other rules or have you look them over just to review them but that would be up to them. I think the other rules should be ok :) You could always look through and then contact one of the ETOs in private if you see anything else that would be good to clarify. Either way, it was very nice of you to offer :)
I checked the added pose for V4 which is good.
Since the female walking pose is part of the Genesis products included with DS I am not sure it needs to be linked but perhaps an ETO can provide some clarification for the future.

UH HEM...OK. I have been having a few requests from some friends here for a copy of a room I did a while back. It is not anything special...just a room. Older with high ceiling and an old radiator type heater hidden under the window. For some reason, many want THIS room. So, I will donate it to all the winners this month including the HMs. I think everyone should win something here (Jaderail did too, so in his memory...). Here is a few screen nabs of it.

Well, here's my entry for this month:
Tommie really just does not "get" Japanese culture. You know what they say, "You can take the girl out of Southern Alabama, but you can't take Southern Alabama out of the girl." When she first arrived at Kageto's family estate, she found it fascinating, and imposing, but did see some "familiar" things, such as a huge pond with lots of fish, just like back home in All Good, AL. So several days later, you can imagine Kageto's shock and horror when he later found Tommie reeling in one of his grandfather's prized Koi.

The 3DS items in this render were converted to the .obj format using Poseray, available At This Site Free and easy to use.
As always...well, not quite...Figure set-up in DAZ Studio 4.7 with final render in Bryce 7.1. No postwork save for addition of signature and copyright notice. I'm just now recovering from a devastating computer crash which crushed my hard drive into dust, forcing me to upgrade to a newer and better system. The bad news is that I had to rebuild everything from the ground up as far as my main programs go. Thankfully, all the really good stuff was on my external hard drive which came out just fine. So, no Louies were lost in the course of this disaster...which means ya gotta put up wit' him for a whiles longer.

DAZ April Freebie Challenge
Title: The Hapless Prince
Rendered in DAZ Studio 4.6 with 3Delight
Prince Charmin, heir to the throne of the tiny kingdom of Eoria, had been wandering aimlessly about the countryside for several days, in
search of adventure. He had been named Charmin by his father, King Reory, due to an aversion to the letter G, a quirk shared by most
citizens of the kingdom. For most of his life his name had been the source of some ridicule for the young prince and had earned him the
nickname "TP", amongst many other far less flattering examples. The prince was in desperate need, or so he reasoned, of some
magnificent adventure that would bring him fame and the respect he felt he deserved. And so he set forth.
It so happened, as a consequence of always turning left whenever presented with a choice, that on the third day of his quest he found
himself on a little-travelled trail skirting the edge of a scrubby forest at the base of a line of large hills with steep, rocky slopes. It was not
an area with which he was at all familiar and, coupled with the fact that he had not seen a building or another human being for hours, this
caused him to be somewhat apprehensive. He was constantly looking around at every sound or movement, which was fortuitous, for if he
had not been so watchful he might never have seen the opening in the cliff amoungst the gnarled trees at its base. To make a long story
short, the young prince dismounted and climbed as quickly as he could up the rugged slope to the opening that he had seen, and
cautiously advanced, drawn sword in hand.
Although the entrance to what appeared to be a cave was dark, and he had neither candle nor torch with him, the prince pressed on, and
soon found the blackness giving way to a faint, but steadily growing greenish light that seemed to emanate from somewhere deep within
the place. It wasn't long before he discovered the source, as he stepped out into a large, circular chamber lit by a glowing green crystal
mounted on a slender pedestal in the centre of the vault. But that wasn't the most amazing thing. There, next to the light, was a platform
upon which rested the form of a young woman, seemingly frozen. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Well, perhaps not,
but she was certainly the most beautiful frozen girl he had ever seen. He approached in amazement, wondering who she was, how had
she come to be here, and was there anything to drink? He had become quite thirsty climbing the hill to the cave. After a moment, it
suddenly occured to him that the young woman must have been placed under some sort of spell. Perhaps she was even a princess
trapped here by a witch or an evil sorcerer, who tended to do that sort of thing as a matter of course, or so he had been told. She was
certainly well-dressed, and had one of those crownish sort of thingamabobs on her forehead. Yes, he decided, she was definitely a
princess, and no sooner had this thought entered his mind than he had an epiphany: "if she is a princess placed under a spell, then as a
prince, I should be able to wake her from the spell with a kiss! That's what everybody says!". What did he have to lose? Charmin glanced
quickly around the cave, as though he thought somebody might be watching, then set his sword against the biere, leaned over the girl
and kissed her. Whoa, she was definitely frozen!
It was one of those situations where events seem to take place in slow motion. No sooner had the prince started to raise his head from
kissing the girl than, instead of having her awaken and fall greatfully into his arms as expected, he immediately realized that he was
stuck. His tongue had become frozen to the girl's lips and she showed absolutely no signs of stirring from her sleep. Or thawing out. "Aw,
hih!", said the prince, as he tried in vain to free himself from the girl. No, he was pretty much stuck. "Aye! Ah hu oo ah iho el eeuh".
Well, I have no idea what that meant, but the narrator's code expressly forbids interaction with the subject in order to preserve objectivity.
So, ignoring him completely, I take my leave of the prince, and you, as he continues to mouth a stream of incomprehensible gibberish
behind me. (Is that what they mean by speaking in tongues?)
Oh, and I almost forgot, the "princess"? It turns out she wasn't really asleep at all. Although quite frozen, she was completely aware of
what was going on around her the whole time. She wasn't actually a princess either, but the daughter of a (to be continued...)
