Prince Charmin, heir to the throne of the tiny kingdom of Eorgia, had been wandering aimlessly about the countryside for several days, in

search of adventure. He had been named Charmin by his father, King Reory, due to an aversion to the letter G, a quirk shared by most

citizens of the kingdom. For most of his life his name had been the source of some ridicule for the young prince and had earned him the

nickname "TP", amongst many other far less flattering examples. The prince was in desperate need, or so he reasoned, of some

magnificent adventure that would bring him fame and the respect he felt he deserved. And so he set forth.

It so happened, as a consequence of always turning left whenever presented with a choice, that on the third day of his quest he found

himself on a little-travelled trail skirting the edge of a scrubby forest at the base of a line of large hills with steep, rocky slopes. It was not

an area with which he was at all familiar and, coupled with the fact that he had not seen a building or another human being for hours, this

caused him to be somewhat apprehensive. He was constantly looking around at every sound or movement, which was fortuitous, for if he

had not been so watchful he might never have seen the opening in the cliff amoungst the gnarled trees at its base. To make a long story

short, the young prince dismounted and climbed as quickly as he could up the rugged slope to the opening that he had seen, and

cautiously advanced, drawn sword in hand.

Although the entrance to what appeared to be a cave was dark, and he had neither candle nor torch with him, the prince pressed on, and

soon found the blackness giving way to a faint, but steadily growing greenish light that seemed to emanate from somewhere deep within

the place. It wasn't long before he discovered the source, as he stepped out into a large, circular chamber lit by a glowing green crystal

mounted on a slender pedestal in the centre of the vault. But that wasn't the most amazing thing. There, next to the light, was a platform

upon which rested the form of a young woman, seemingly frozen. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Well, perhaps not,

but she was certainly the most beautiful frozen girl he had ever seen. He approached in amazement, wondering who she was, how had

she come to be here, and was there anything to drink? He had become quite thirsty climbing the hill to the cave. After a moment, it

suddenly occured to him that the young woman must have been placed under some sort of spell. Perhaps she was even a princess

trapped here by a witch or an evil sorcerer, who tended to do that sort of thing as a matter of course, or so he had been told. She was

certainly well-dressed, and had one of those crownish sort of thingamabobs on her forehead. Yes, he decided, she was definitely a

princess, and no sooner had this thought entered his mind than he had an epiphany: "if she is a princess placed under a spell, then as a

prince, I should be able to wake her from the spell with a kiss! That's what everybody says!". What did he have to lose? Charmin glanced

quickly around the cave, as though he thought somebody might be watching, then set his sword against the biere, leaned over the girl

and kissed her. Whoa, she was definitely frozen!

It was one of those situations where events seem to take place in slow motion. No sooner had the prince started to raise his head from

kissing the girl than, instead of having her awaken and fall greatfully into his arms as expected, he immediately realized that he was

stuck. His tongue had become frozen to the girl's lips and she showed absolutely no signs of stirring from her sleep. Or thawing out. "Aw,

hih!", said the prince, as he tried in vain to free himself from the girl. No, he was pretty much stuck. "Aye! Ah hu oo ah iho el eeuh".

Well, I have no idea what that meant, but the narrator's code expressly forbids interaction with the subject in order to preserve objectivity.

So, ignoring him completely, I take my leave of the prince, and you, as he continues to mouth a stream of incomprehensible gibberish

behind me. (Is that what they mean by speaking in tongues?)

Oh, and I almost forgot, the "princess"? It turns out she wasn't really asleep at all. Although quite frozen, she was completely aware of

what was going on around her the whole time. She wasn't actually a princess either, but the daughter of a (to be continued...)

citizens of the kingdom. For most of his life his name had been the source of some ridicule for the young prince and had earned him the

nickname "TP", amongst many other far less flattering examples. The prince was in desperate need, or so he reasoned, of some

magnificent adventure that would bring him fame and the respect he felt he deserved. And so he set forth.

It so happened, as a consequence of always turning left whenever presented with a choice, that on the third day of his quest he found

himself on a little-travelled trail skirting the edge of a scrubby forest at the base of a line of large hills with steep, rocky slopes. It was not

an area with which he was at all familiar and, coupled with the fact that he had not seen a building or another human being for hours, this

caused him to be somewhat apprehensive. He was constantly looking around at every sound or movement, which was fortuitous, for if he

had not been so watchful he might never have seen the opening in the cliff amoungst the gnarled trees at its base. To make a long story

short, the young prince dismounted and climbed as quickly as he could up the rugged slope to the opening that he had seen, and

cautiously advanced, drawn sword in hand.

Although the entrance to what appeared to be a cave was dark, and he had neither candle nor torch with him, the prince pressed on, and

soon found the blackness giving way to a faint, but steadily growing greenish light that seemed to emanate from somewhere deep within

the place. It wasn't long before he discovered the source, as he stepped out into a large, circular chamber lit by a glowing green crystal

mounted on a slender pedestal in the centre of the vault. But that wasn't the most amazing thing. There, next to the light, was a platform

upon which rested the form of a young woman, seemingly frozen. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Well, perhaps not,

but she was certainly the most beautiful frozen girl he had ever seen. He approached in amazement, wondering who she was, how had

she come to be here, and was there anything to drink? He had become quite thirsty climbing the hill to the cave. After a moment, it

suddenly occured to him that the young woman must have been placed under some sort of spell. Perhaps she was even a princess

trapped here by a witch or an evil sorcerer, who tended to do that sort of thing as a matter of course, or so he had been told. She was

certainly well-dressed, and had one of those crownish sort of thingamabobs on her forehead. Yes, he decided, she was definitely a

princess, and no sooner had this thought entered his mind than he had an epiphany: "if she is a princess placed under a spell, then as a

prince, I should be able to wake her from the spell with a kiss! That's what everybody says!". What did he have to lose? Charmin glanced

quickly around the cave, as though he thought somebody might be watching, then set his sword against the biere, leaned over the girl

and kissed her. Whoa, she was definitely frozen!

It was one of those situations where events seem to take place in slow motion. No sooner had the prince started to raise his head from

kissing the girl than, instead of having her awaken and fall greatfully into his arms as expected, he immediately realized that he was

stuck. His tongue had become frozen to the girl's lips and she showed absolutely no signs of stirring from her sleep. Or thawing out. "Aw,

hih!", said the prince, as he tried in vain to free himself from the girl. No, he was pretty much stuck. "Aye! Ah hu oo ah iho el eeuh".

Well, I have no idea what that meant, but the narrator's code expressly forbids interaction with the subject in order to preserve objectivity.

So, ignoring him completely, I take my leave of the prince, and you, as he continues to mouth a stream of incomprehensible gibberish

behind me. (Is that what they mean by speaking in tongues?)

Oh, and I almost forgot, the "princess"? It turns out she wasn't really asleep at all. Although quite frozen, she was completely aware of

what was going on around her the whole time. She wasn't actually a princess either, but the daughter of a (to be continued...)

If I may make a small suggestion for everyone here, rather than quoting an entire post when responding, if you simply select a bit of text from the post as I have done above, it will serve the purpose without reiterating everything. This is particularly useful when referencing entries, as the posts are usually quite long with all the lists of products used. In the case of my entry, the admittedly long-winded story makes things even worse. No offense to anyone, just a suggestion to keep the thread to a manageable size. :)

As for the donation of prizes, I am only a Host and am willing to accept any [strike]bribes[/strike] donations anyone cares to make. But if you would like more clarification on the rules for the donation then I would wait for a ruling from music.

Here is how we do donations. You can donate anything for free as long as it has a safe place to be given from. Anyway you want to do it like by email. That works good, but you must be the one to give it to the winners you choose to. It must be within the Daz TOS agreement also and the donator is responsible for it.

Host makes the decission to allow the donation, or not to.

Willow: That beady-eyed space rat pointed his ray gun at me and demanded I cut loose the cheese. I just.. froze... any other time I could have, but I just... I just ran out of gas! Normally you can count on me to diffuse the bomb in the tightest of situations. Elevators, stairwells, crowded airplanes... usually I work best under pressure! Why, agent? Why? By now Teddy is probably being probed by beady-eyed space rat thugs deep in the depths of... space... deep, dark space. Oh agent, how could I have failed him?"

Agent: Do you know we found your hidden supply of beano, Willow?

Willow: *gasp* Beano? I would never! It must be a plant, a set-up... My boyfriend has been jealous of Teddy all along, I can't help that I reach to snuggle Teddy in my sleep! I bet my boyfriend is in on this! Maybe he wanted Teddy for himself. Teddy will never be happy with him! I bet he laced my Taco Bell with Beano so I would run out of gas right when I needed it most. Poor, poor Teddy. Why does Teddy need to suffer? I can't imagine what those space rats must be doing to him... No matter what they do to him, Teddy will never love anyone but me.

As for my jerk boyfriend.... I am so over him. And to be honest agent, I am sorry about Teddy but I am relieved to be rid of the boyfriend. Thank heavens. Finally, no more scented candles, perfumes, and soaps, ugh! And the flowers! Why always the flowers? Why can't a boy just buy a girl a nice box of Fiber One and be done? Not to mention the not so subtle rotation of air fresheners dangling from my car's rearview mirror...

Oh Agent... I know I never should have let anyone else into my life... Teddy was all I ever needed, all I ever wanted! He understood me, he loved me no matter what. . Unlike mister soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend, Teddy never said my profession stunk or questioned me when I explained how important it was to have the dog as my canine alibi. Just bring Teddy back to me safe and I will never fail him again. Please tell me you know how to get Teddy back? I will put up any ransom the space rat thugs demand, no matter how large! I don't care if you have to re-route deliveries from every cheese store in Wisconsin and Vermont combined, if those space rats want me to cut them some cheese, I will cut them the biggest cheese I can find. You can't let the evil space rats destroy his innocent teddy love. We have something special, agent. Teddy and I..."

As for my jerk boyfriend.... I am so over him. And to be honest agent, I am sorry about Teddy but I am relieved to be rid of the boyfriend. Thank heavens. Finally, no more scented candles, perfumes, and soaps, ugh! And the flowers! Why always the flowers? Why can't a boy just buy a girl a nice box of Fiber One and be done? Not to mention the not so subtle rotation of air fresheners dangling from my car's rearview mirror...
