Survey

Spent 10 minutes diligently doing the answers, thinking about each. And then the question where there's a whole bunch of number choices refused to accept my answers. Kept saying you must make a choice. I gave up after trying 4 times. Xed it out. I'm not wasting my time again.

You could drag and drop (the 4 dots on the side) and it'll assign numbers to it. But that can be tricky on a smartphone. I also tapped on the question so it could refresh my selection.

I had the same experience as #Random;  10 minutes of carefully considered and typed answers only to be stimmied by a bug in the last section. Also had to give up after many attempts to find a workaround.

    - Needless to say my satisfaction score for DAZ after this experience would be different to what I'd opted to put at the begining of the survey.  Thanks for wasting my time!

Apparently Lost Utopian sussed it out. Maybe they should indicate that in the question. Yeh, dumb.

Or the section that only allows you to give positve comments instead of a neutral or negative one.

I added a comment about that, and also the question that assumes I use things like the Gallery, etc

I could offer no suggestions when asked. Having been ignored for so long, I no longer consider how Daz can improve their site or product, although I did remember how the search regularly foils my plans.

I did it in reverse - Least interested - 8, and narrowed down the most important ones and juggled them till I thought No 1 was my most important.

I'm pretty happy they're doing a survey, since it hopefully means they're trying to get together the next bunch of things to work on. I just wish things weren't so black and white. Like the question: Does DAZ provide a premium quality product?" It's hard for me to answer, because yes, for the price, DAZ PAs as a whole can provide some pretty freakin' awesome things. But recently, there's been a pretty big bunch of QA issues, like missing folders, misnamed items, sales items that quickly disappear from store, are released too early—heck, they literally put the wrong version of a product up in the store meaning some people recieved a different product to what they thought. So, while I think Daz (and its PAs) *does* provide good quality for price, by ticking it, I worry that Daz will go "well cool, no need to worry about that then."

Because they're far more likely to look at the quantifiable metrics rather than read through people's comments. And at board meetings, they're gonna be looking at answers en masse that can be painted on a graph

I was thrilled to take the survey in the hopes they will actually listen to the input. Gave me a chance to put down how much i want support for virtual reality

I gladly took the survey as well

I had to LOL when I got to the question about "what is one thing you would change about the website" and my response was to remove anything having to with NFT's and crypto. Then literally the next question is "are you intersted in NFT's?"

I wonder if this survey was sent to everyone, which would be interesting, since normally they are more targeted, or perhaps ask a random selection of 10% or so. Many of the regular posters here have reported filling it in. Did anyone not get the survey?

I took the survey.  Glad they asked for input.

Too much effort, but at least there's a $5 coupon.

I had a similar reaction, also there is not just one thing I would like to see changed. Except for the NFT stuff I deeply dislike, the bottom loading page has made me quit browsing products on more than a couple of occasions. There are also definitely more mouse clicks required when shopping here than say a year ago. I struggle to see how they feel the site has been improved.

I welcome the invitation to repeat my message on that.

It's not as if they knew that was going to be your answer.

That's why I said I had to laugh because of how the two questions wound up one after the other. Ya know...at the coincidence.

I felt like the whole survey was like that. A kind of "When did you stop beating your wife?" thing. I ignored some of the options and wrote comments where there was a space to do so. I wish there had been a comment box for NFTs though.

2nd that response.. I did the same "Remove the NFT BS", then do you like NFTs?  There wasn't a choice for see above..........

I just read an article with a graph on the drop of interest in NFTs, hopefully it will continue.

I'm glad they actually did the survey. Unfortunately I wasn't able to be as positive as I normally am. Being here a looong time, I've seen a lot of changes. But due to changes over the past couple of years I fear I might have been too negative and my answers will be ignored because of it. I also second the comments about NFT's. I actually really resent coming here and seeing NFT's in my face everywhere being so heavily promoted when thanks to NFT's I've lost many hours of personal time getting my images removed from being sold as NFT's angry

My approach also. From my standpoint, If I could have done it, I would have had a 1, a 2, a 5, and five 8s (or higher).

When they asked what I would suggest to change about the website, I said 'change the webstie', citing previous suggestions that I and others have made since the recent change.

All of that white space along the left column is dead space, and the sort options should be collapsible, allowing more product tiles to be shown across the page.  Oh and adding a 'jump to page' menu to the top of the page as well as the bottom of the page, and jumping to a new page using the page menu widget should go to the top of the page.

Also, the 'main shop page sort categories, i.e. People & Wearables, Hair, etc. should be in every sales page sort menu.  I'd absolutely love to be able to just sort by say environments and architecture, as an example.

It was annoying to try to type all of that into a tiny 'other' box though.  I used those tiny other boxes to cram a lot of words into them.

As for that rank stuff from 1-8, I don't remember all of the options now, but I ranked the whole 'Daz+ exclusive items' thing towards/at the bottom.  If NFTs was there I ranked it 8th.  I think there was something about forum badges, I ranked that towards the bottom too, along with private Daz+ forums which I almost never used anyways.

I mentioned the need to to give longtime customers decent discounts on Daz+ memberships, as we get less value out of said memberships.  What I mean here is that, like a number of others here, it's harder for us to find stuff to use the monthly Daz+ coupons on, and we often end up picking stuff that we sort of want because of the 'use or lose' nature of the coupons, as we already have most of what we really want from past sales, and have picked over the Daz Originals category to death in past sales.

As I mentioned in the MM and another thread, I really do think that a 40% off + 2% per year you've been a Daz3D.com shopper on annual memberships would be really cool idea.  if you've been shopping here since 2002, you've helped pay a lot of Daz payrolls over the years, not to mention supported a number of PA,s so absolutely you should get 80% off of the annual PC+/Daz+ membership!  This is the one thing that only goes into the Daz coffers (PA's do not get a cut of the Daz+ membership renewal fee), so it's pretty easy to offer.

Not sure if the Daz3D.com store has been around for 30 years, but if anyone here has shopped there that long, a free lifetime Daz+ membership is the least the Daz3D.com sales team can do for you.

And, as has been mentioned before, Daz+ freebies have been kind of meh lately.  At some point, you end up with more plants than you need or may ever use...

50% off Daz+ memberships happened often enough until this year, that should just be a thing again at the very least for regular customers, or my 'based on how long you've been shopping here' scheme as suggested above.  I'm no longer Daz+ because the discounts on the Annual Membership renewal fee discounts have been laughable this year.  And my shopping has dropped to essentially zero in the meantime.

Hey look, another wall of text that the sales team may never read...

Yeah, I too mentioned getting rid of NFT stuff on the site as well as a number of other things throughout. I normally am very positive in surveys, but this time I had a hard time finding that mindset and really was honest with what I was thinking. Hopefully they at least listen and discuss all of our suggestions.
