Second day in a row of waking up to a thunderstorm. Yesterday was crazy with wild winds and heavy rain. That subsided before we left the house but this storm is still raining. We're under a flash flood watch and the Oso creek is several feet above flood stage. I'm nowhere near the creek but there are several large ditches we have to travel over to get to work and one of those ditches is right outside my house. Hopefully the big box underneath the ditch can hold all this rain we've gotten the last two days.
They moved it out of the History - > Clear Recent History? o.o
Another option would be to use CCleaner: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
It can clean out the cache of your browsers just fine, amongst other things like Temporary Files and so forth.
Yep, another CCleaner user here. I don't use it regularly because for the most part I don't subscribe to the idea that it is always necessary. However, when I run into a customer with a really nasty confusion in their system not worthy of complete rebuild or if they don't have their recovery CDs or recovery partition I'll try CCleaner to try to clean out the junk and cobwebs. I've run into customers who have tried other products usually the malicious junk that makes the problem worse, but I trust CCleaner gotten directly from the horse's mouth "Piriform.com". However, like all big brooms, sweeping too clean can throw out the baby with the bathwater and it's easy to shoot yourself in the foot, hoisting oneself by one's own petard. I usually just let CCleaner use its default settings before experimenting every so slowly with specific removals.
Edited to accommodate an annoying truth about petards.
Good Morning, G'Day, Good Evening. - should cover ever'body
Not trying to be a smart@$$ here, just informative. Although one can be hoisted by one's own petard, one could not be hung by it, as a petard is a bomb.

Happy trails to all, I'm off to breakfast,
I haven't experienced happy trails (or any trails for that matter) since the 70s. And I'm still waiting for my promised flashback.
Wednesday, and rain. Rain, rain, rain. :blank:
COLD rain today, only 56F right now, hig looks to be 67F.
WARM rain tomorrow (80F), WARM rain Friday (77F), same all weekend.
Rain, rain, raiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnn. :blank:
Haaacckkk, snort, gaaack, spit, repeat. Ah, the joys of the tail end of a respiratory infection.

Don't know if this will be enough to help, but PC+ memberships are 25% off today. :)
So $18 for a quarterly.
Lunch! :cheese:
Chunky steak chili and a diet Coke.. tasty! And the rain has slowed so I might have a less-damp trip home.
Going to go home and play games and nibble cheese, relax, go to bed early!
Maybe Arcanum, or Divine Divinity. Maybe Total Annihilation but even a skirmish can last for hours! :bug:
Arghhhhhh so much code left to write.. :shut:
So kiss a wet camel for hump day?

ETA:
Emptied some stuff out and the PM came through.
Such a nice day. Think I'll go or a ride.
I feel I'm in a love triangle. Guy 1 likes me but I like guy2. They both work at the mall. The one who likes me works at my job. The guy I have a crush works at a kiosk that I frequently visit. I am too shy to tell the guy I like that I like him. No it is most likely that I will get rejected or find out that he is Mr wrong
...nice. Sums up a certain segment of the cyclists I see here in Portland (self not included).
I went to check out the collapsed building near where I get breakfast every Friday morning. Building's gone! Just a pile of rubble with tarps covering it.
It always amazes me how fast small town governments can work when in immediate danger of getting sued. That building has been an empty derelict crumbly building for at least 50 years. An eyesore to a pretty little old community. It's not like there were lots of crumbly old buildings left in town. The town center is only a "Y" intersection with perhaps 10 brick buildings left. The collapsed building was on the join of the "Y" and has been the biggest building in town ever since it was built about 135 years ago. It was old when I was kid but has been an ugly distraction since at least the mid-fifties and should have been torn down by the 70s. But it's been argued over for decades because nobody wants to incur the expense of tearing it down. Arguments being along the lines of too messy, too dangerous, possibly restorable, historic building, blah, blah, blah. You know how it goes. Governments unable to make a decision. Then one night the building partially collapses on it's own and people's cars parked on the street get scratched or dented and zoom, building gone in 36 hours. Poof. So, I guess it wasn't much trouble after all was it folks?
My mother was a history buff and I used to be brainwashed about historic buildings and antiques but now that I am an antique myself, I realize that some things are just old and should be granted a dignified departure. Collapsing into the street is not a dignified departure. I sold all my antiques 15 years ago, refusing to be their caretaker anymore.
What company sells the domains the cheapest but still good to use on a server that is controlled by someone else?
Speaks for itself.
Thanks for the link. I forgot about that one.
I've used Office Libre since its inception and am pleased with it.
