Anyone notice the cool new thing? If you're just browsing through the main pages of the store, if you have wishlisted an item, there will be a white heart in a blue circle on the main promo image for that item. I like it.

Thanks. A small tornado very close to me hit an U-Haul dealership. There was also a tornado in Corpus Christi. I hope Fyre is okay.

I'm having second thoughts about visiting Texas and Oklahoma in the summer now.

It's not like this very often. This is the wettest May in Austin since they began keeping records back in the 1800's. C'mon down.

The weather sure is trying to keep Austin weird. Saw this tidbit on our local newspaper site today: Must be summer out at the F1 track or could be the heat from all those race car engines. The other reporting stations were only reporting high sixties to low eighties.

Comforting to know that summer is out there, somewhere, just not here

eta 4 green dots wow gratz :)

I'm fine, mostly. Sinuses are going nuts from all the pollen and yuck in the air. Also enjoying my three day weekend.

I'm glad to hear you're not caught up in all this weather. Hopefully the air will get cleaned out and not spoil any of your weekend.

Question for those who played with the Daz 4.8 beta. My story is using AoA's camera's and grass. Did Daz 4.8 break either of those?

We don't have much snow and what we do have is light and fleeting. There are exceptions, like the Panhandle and the Dallas-Ft Worth areas. I have long thought that Texas and Australia are very similar.

The flooding part of all this is apparently not normal for the Tulsa area. Tornadoes, sure, this is Tornado Alley after all, but we have one lake 18 feet over normal level :ahhh: and I now several folks here at the office that are running pumps to keep the basement "less filled with water"! :bug:

    Nasty affair.

You know, we've done a lot of hiking in the White Mountains over the years and, although they are supposed to be all around there, we never came across one...even when we hiked up Cannon Mt. They're mostly shy of people. But in the last couple of years, they've been seen right in our resort at the trash dumpsters. A couple of years ago, I went out to the car to get something I had forgotten, and when I was coming back, there were three of them at the dumpster, and two looked to be little ones, climbing up the tree next to it. I went right back to the car and stayed there. I didn't have my phone with me so all I could do was wait until there seemed to be the right moment to head back into the building. I don't want to seem a threat to mama's little ones...they can hurt you.

    Time for supper. Later!

    Dana

    eh Boo Boo?

My mom wants to print something using my single-core computer and the old printer. She is complaining about how slow the printer is. Um... we can use the printer downstairs instead. Then continues to complain for the next 10 minutes. "My printer at work is so much faster. ect..." Uhh, why don't you want to use the faster printer downstairs instead? Why not just send the link to your friends using e-mail instead of using 24 sheets of paper and some expensive ink? But I digress.

AMR isn't supported by my version of So9und Forge, but you can use the free Audacity sound editor with the free FFMPEG library to enable *some* AMR support:

    http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/importing_audio.html

    Hope this helps! :cheese:

...the basic Fog, EZ Volume, and Depth cameras work OK, It is the Colour and Vignette effects that don't.. Something to do with changed to the Shader mixer/builder since ver 4.7 AFAIK.

You may have to uninstall and reinstall the Atmospheric Cameras after installing the .0.55 General Release if they do not work (same for the Advanced Lights).

Not sure if the flagging on the Advanced Lights (when using SSS) has been fixed or not.

Note, the Grass/Rock shaders will not work with Iray.

I was asking about the image you posted. I don't know what this AMR stuff was about, I didn't ask.

Well, maybe I'll wait on installing the new version, then. I haven't even used those things and already they might be broken? Why can't the get everything together before releasing a new version?
