The Whistle is in the uniform (the chain visible as well ) lol the chain gravity problem is here as I am not sure how to rig it to make it works .... too complicated already and time is short for me .
I can do the whistle no problem but without chain make no sense to do that

the lantern was important for the evening duty and I learned some hard edge modeling that I hate so much , no passion for that

so what you think, Red, Black , tarnish copper or tarnish brass for the Lantern ?

I'm not sure what the materials were either - I'd opt for tarnished brass and possibly a beat-up black showing tarnished brass at points. I don't think the lanterns should look anything like new.

I was thinking the same since all oil lamps was made from brass too and the inserts was brass 100% , even in the police lantern , some was tarnished old brass some painted over but the oldest one showing only brass without painting on top, they was new on some point but after daily usage I don't think they polished it , let me see how it would looks like

The uniform and accessories are looking great and will be an Insta-Buy for me.

This product needs to be in the store NOW! :)

The uniform looks amazing! But...what morphs will this set include if I may ask? It is kind of frustrating to see that a gorgeous outfit does not fit to certain figures/positions/gestures and it happens a lot.

And it probably will cost extra tons of time but can we at least have an open morph for the clothing? Thanks!

I'm definitely getting Stonemason's set, because I have a need to do a lot of Victorian-era vampire/horror and 'War Of The Worlds'-themed art. So, seeing this being done by one of my favourite artists is truly amazing!

Time for someone to make an HD police box, so that we can have it double as a time-travelling TARDIS, perhaps... :)

Wondering what the Jack costume will look like now... I'd suspect it could also double for Mister Hyde.

Don't suppose there's any hope of your doing costumes for Dracula and his brides? :) They'd be a perfect fit for this theme.

Thanks, there is no function to open the uniform , it is more of a layered game style set what will fit better any figure and cost less time to produce and cost also a lot minder and I am going to set it on $10.99 only for the full set .
This set is going to fit Major shapes perfectly from skinny to heavy sets from Gianni to Lee and other body shapes without the spandex look as in mostly products as I am not using auto shapes and model it to fit each shape manually ..
A uniform need to fit and looks like an uniform and not like to small clothing from a little brother ..
I want you to have the possibilities to create more than one character look in case the scene request more than just one cop .. soon I am going to show some more final previews to see the versatility

I am going to make HD police box for City of London as it was different from the Metropolitan blue one ;)

True, that were quite different. The first designs were akin to this...

What we think of as the TARDIS type police box, a "Metropolitan Mark II", did not appear until the 1930s

    This is just superb!

The scope for what else you can do is endless... Jack The Ripper... Burke and Hare... Jekyll and Hyde..

I trust there will be some Victorian facial hair to come too?

Here's an interesting fact, the City of London isn't part of the UK, it's independent like certain other principalities around the world. Bless

Derailing the thread (hopefully just) one last time.... For anyone interested in getting the most authentic "Circa 1929 Gilbert Mackenzie-Trench Mark 2 Metropolitan Police Public Call Box" (try saying that just one time fast) which inspired the props depicted in Doctor Who, I recomend, no, not the mesh Mick Imrie allowed me to distribute, but rather, one offered here...

    http://www.sharecg.com/v/36900/browse/5/3D-Model/Police-Box

The person who modeled it, "Boardman", based it upon plan illustrations of the Mackenzie-Trench design he found on-line. The zip offers several formats including .3DS, Bryce, Vue and multi app' readable .OBJ. I tweaked the .OBJ format for use in Poser, separating the geometry of the right side door so that it can open. the only downside, you'll have to concoct your own textures or procedural materials. The only texture Boardman offers is the phone box sign. Of course, if you're going for the real world appearance, these stations were primarily cast in concrete with the doors and window frames being the only major wood elements. Yeah, a real police box could not have been relocated to a junk yard. They stood where they were first erected until most were demolished.

For trivia about real police boxes, "the Mind Robber" has a nicely consolidated page about them.

    http://www.themindrobber.co.uk/real-police-box-history.html

He also discusses the various props used throughout the series, both the original and the revival.

    http://www.themindrobber.co.uk/tardis-police-box.html

Actually, I suggest exploring his entire site since it also discusses the various console set pieces, sound effects, etc.

Okay, unless directly asked, I promise not to disrupt this thread any further. ;-)

    Sincerely,

    Bill
