eta: Okay tested it in the cart, seems to be working fine. Problem is I don't see tripling the price of an item on a "Catch-up" sale as being a good start. Emptied cart.
The bundle discounts on caegories should now be applying one discount per category instead of one spread across all categories.
I don't understand this sale. It appears to be taking $20 off the original price of the category item which makes it more costly than buying it without the new mega-bundle. Is this correct? Also, I should be getting an extra 10% for past sales.

I just got back from the doctor and NO while I should have qualfied I do not have an onsite message about the discount and still am not receiving it.
So if you add an item from more than one category it is spreading the $20 (or whatever) across all of them, not taking $20 off the base price of the items in each category?
I don't know what it's doing, but it's not giving me $20 per category. Here's what happens when I add the mega bundle, and then 1 item from each select category:
Lord of the Abyss HD for Genesis 8 Male $17.47 - price in cart $4.95
Terrazzo Marble - Iray Shaders $15.37 - price in cart $1.95
Paul Hair for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Males $5.63 - price in cart $2.95
Demos HD for Genesis 8.1 Males $17.47 - price in cart $4.95
I've also noticed that if I try to add more than 1 item per category, they both go up to full sale price, even if together they are less than $20.
I also did not get the 15% off which I believed I was entitled to, having bought a large gift card, like other people. Since it is getting towards the end of the day, it looks like this is not going to happen. Seems a bit of a cheek to advertise a discount for spending money, and then not actually delivering it.
Well although the extra 15% discount is working for me I decided not to use it at all. Either the starting discounts or the necessary buy-ins prevent me from spending anything today.
Ageed and all the more so since I could have gotten a $200 gift card at a greater discount the very next day I have now filed a help ticket; so, I guess I'll wait and see what DAZ says.
What's happening is that the $5 (or $20) off is being deducted from the full price of the item. For example, in the 'Animals' listing, the RoboTNY product is currently shown (for me) as $4.92 (it would be $7.03 if I weren't a DAZ+ member). If I add it to my cart -- with one of the smaller bundles already in the cart -- the price leaps to $9.95, which is $5 off the $14.95 full price of that item.
I suppose that technically that fulfils DAZ's offer of $5 off ... but I don't think this was probably the intention. I certainly don't think many DAZ customers will be rushing to take advantage of the chance to spend more by buying them as part of a bundle.
The group of people getting the discounts is, I believe, being rebuilt to try to deal with any omissions.
Those are right, it's $20 off the base price (note the bit at the end of the list of categories saying it doesn't stack).
Since it so late in the day, will the offer be extended another day?

Some of the promos look like they have been mirrored, as the dress hangs differently. Isn't this a bit misleading?
So, I never got a banner, any change in the cart price or an explanation as to why my original purchase didn't trigger the cart offer, and now the deal I was hoping to use it alongside has ended, so suffice to say I am not impressed. (And quite possibly 3DUniverse won't be either, as I was intending to pick up quite a large amount of their stuff, but now I've had to dump out the cart).
Richard those prices cannot be right, and this sale is not functioning as previous "buy this bundle get $20 free from these 4 catagories"
i'll just leave one example, I add the Mega Bundle $95.53 from sale page, ($82.16 in cart after the DAZ MATH 14% discount for owning into the west bundle)
now i add Staff Picks Fantasy Mega Bundle $300.97 from the sale page -----
and it rings in at $409.95 in the cart (shows 5% off in cart which completely STRIPS the Daz Member 30%)
instead of $280.97
Does that in any way shape or form sound like this sale is working as intended?
Buy a Bundle to pay MORE for items? Since I own 16 of the 20 items in that bundle
i would be paying 409.95 to get 4 items... yeah not a good deal by any means (if i wanted those 4 i would buy them during a get this bundle for the price of items you don't own in it)

I Do Hope the sale gets fixed in the next few days but a 10 FOOT POLE isn't remotely long enough when something like that staff mega bundle price can be triggered as part of a "SALE" and considered a good deal.

Well, if they did I never received the discount and now it evidently has expired. Not a good way for DAZ to treat its customers.
That is not what I am getting, for me it goes in the cart at $4.95 as it should.
It is working as it was designed to work. It is poor value for expensive items, at least for Daz+ members, when the the fixed discount is lower than the Daz original discount - if you want the bundle then it makes more sense to look at the cheaper end of the categories, where the discount will be an improvement.
That is a nice new way to tell longtime bundle buyers to NOT buy bundles anymore and to overthink the DAZ+ membership.
I load one of the advertised items in cart - it shows at $24,95 - I add a $95.53 MEGA Bundle and the price of the first Item goes up to $59.95.
Maybe its a new way of DAZ3D telling us that 313 produkt pages are enough and better spend your money on new stuff - e.g. a new 3DPrinter maybe?

Sorry but it looks like more and more people don't understand how the sales are designed.
In the past you get, as Example, $20 worth for FREE from the discounted price. So you can put more than one item from each Categorie till you reach $20 from discounted prices. Not from the base price. If that is new politics from DAZ sales to use the base price: I fully agree with HoMart. I will also buy much fewer bundles.
I personally more and more love the much easier sales actions on other sites. You have a clear priced item with a base price, a reduced price and the information if discounts aplpy or not. Also on some sites you get rewards for every transaction and can use them for whatever you like.
