The bamboo plants aren't the freebie; the laboratory workstation is.
All the $20 off products increase in price when you have the Mega Bundle in your cart instead of taking the $20 off.
According to the sale page a few days ago I would get a 15% discount today on my cart today as I spent over $50 that day. I am not seeing it in my cart today.
Am I missing something, I have no New Releases, FastGrabs, Gift Cards or Daz+ Memberships in my cart.
Is it something to do with recent sales that has made Daz store not reflect what I have purchased recently until I go to the individual item page (when it is shown as purchased)? This seems a retrograde step.
Same here. I bought a $150 gift card on that day (31 July) but I am not seeing the extra discount.
I see the 15% discount (also got a $150 gift card at the weekend). Have in mind that the discount is limited on older releases, no gift cards, no grab bag and so on.
I have older 3DU products at 71% in my cart: 60% base discount; 15% additional discount through 3DU-banner, 15% additional discount from the weekend. It is a shame (or DAZ math) that those 2x 15% extra just make the 60% a 71% but well that's how it is.
Yes I know. I tried an older item in my wishlist and there was no discount at all on it.
ETA: Unfortunately I have to leave for a doctor's appointment in a few minutes and don't have time to file a help ticket. So, I guess I'll just miss out.

Yeah we are getting the same so we reported it
1. It seems the $20 discount on EACH category checks for the full price, not the discounted price as it is shown ("does not stack with other discounts" it seems? First time I see these flat amount discounts work this way)
2. The $20 discount is divided between purchases from all categories combined, instead of being a $20 discount on EACH category seperately (as was advertised)
Ditto. Bought a $200 gift card (which was then immediately on a better sale the next day...), because I thought the future cart discount might offset the fact that giftcards do come along at better than 18%, but there is now no discount in the cart, even without any of the things that are normally excluded.
I really do not enjoy the game of "will this basket trigger the future discount". Some past sales, purchases made with credit didn't count, because the gift card was the actual money being handed over, but this time around, that's apparently not good enough.

They've done that type of thing before, and that's just the way it was supposed to be. I dump a lot of carts.
On the above point, can we please get a clarification on whether the extra cart discount does or does not get resolved.
At the moment, it's still not activating for me, and I don't know whether that's because it's still broken or because it's been decided it did not apply to gift card purchases and will not be fixed.
That's why I included the offer from the sales-page in my post, no mention it would not work with GiftCard purchases, besides Rod Wise Driggo also bought a GiftCard and received the discount just fine.
All I can say is that the 15% is applied to non new releases in my cart. Just checked with a product normally at 50% and at 57% after I put it in cart. Keep in mind that the 15% is only worth approx 7% once applied to an already discounted product. And that the product must not be new.
And yes, the purchase over $50 I did included a gift card. And gift cards were not ruled out to trigger the 8/3 discount.
Loaded everything up with the mega bundle to get my $80 worth of freebies. The Cart ran $264 with non of the supposed to be free products being free. Unloaded the cart and moved on with my day. I am such a sucker for freebies that I usually wind up buying ANY Bundle that has anything I kinda sorta want. That said, when the sales are not setup right, it reminds me to ask myself if I really want the new stuff on offer. THAT is really a good thing for my debit card, so I don't cry too loudly when the bugs are afoot.
Are you guys getting the on-site notice that you qualified for the discount?
Edit to add: Notices that let you know that you qualified for the extra discount off your cart from the sale the other day.
I have not received any on-site notice that I qualified (even checking my messages), but I made a $164 purchase on the day (a $200 giftcard), and while the original description stated that the future discount would not be usable for giftcards, I would have to read the clause that is marked next to the discount and specifically uses the word "discount" fairly creatively to also assume that restriction applied to the qualifying purchase.
Should there be an on-site notice, or a qualification? The offer appears in the promo page for the day, where it says "Buy such-and-such Bundle to get: $5/$20 worth for FREE‡* from each of the Select Daz Original Categories. 55% OFF¥* Featured Artist Stores." Normally, it's just a matter of putting the bundle in your cart and adding items from the selected categories.
Interestingly, it's just the Select DO Categories that are problematic. Putting an item from a Featured Artist store in the cart alongside one of the bundles nets you the appropriate discount.
The Select DO Categories seem to be doubly cursed today, because not only do items not get the expected $5 or $20 off, but the price actually goes up. For example, I have Futuristic Bounty Hunter Bundle in my cart. In the Select DAZ Animals and Creatures Category, ND Weirdo Creature HD is listed at $7.16. With the $5 off, she ought to go to $2.16 in my cart; instead, she leaps to $19.95 (20% off).
Ooops, never mind. Ignore everything I said. I think @frank0314 was talking about a different discount. So hard to keep track when there are so many sales going wrong at once. ;-)
