    Like everyone else, I am disgusted with the incomprehensible and sudden price changes in items in my cart today.  I am not talking about all the new items being $1.99 for a short while; I can understand a mistake like that, and they did not stay at that price when I put them in my cart.  But the changes in other items, like the 45% off (in some cases even more) on daz originals, has been really frustrating.  Items that were in my cart for 45% off or more for a long time suddenly changed to 30% off even though they are in the category "45% off".  And the prices keep changing (going up, naturally). For example, earlier today the "dForce Elegant Cocktail Outfit for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Female" was $8.93 in my cart, then $12.07, then $12.23 and now $13.15. What in the world is going on at Daz?  Are they trying to drive us all away?  I have screenshots that document all of these price changes.

    Do note, however, that "30% and 60%" is not 90%.

     

    For DAZ+ members some discounts are "funny" like "build your own bundle", stating that you get 8 items at a total of 3$, while there are hardly are items above 3$ anyway.

    Oops again: "in total" didn't apply :p, "each" did. Anyway.

    XTRA12 worked for em on a quick test. The items in your cart are not PC (for a day, BYOB, or regular)? What was in your cart?

    Those aren't listed as exclusions. They are: "*Discount excludes New Releases, Gift Cards, Licenses, and Memberships.
    Coupon code usable once per customer. "

    This is ridiculous. Once again the spotlight item has increased in price.

    Now it has gone up to $5.99

    Yeah. $5.99 looks like the undiscounted DAZ+ price, like it will be in two weeks. Adding any new release drops it to $4.19, which is another 30%

    Starting from $5.99:

    30% off would put it at $4.19. Another 65% would make it $1.47

    45% off would put it at  $3.29. Another 65% would make it $1.16

    65% off would put it at  $2.09

     

    Starting from $18.95:

    50% off would make it $9.48. That's all for Non-DAZ+ users.

    65% off would make it $6.63. Another 45% off would make it $3.65

     

     

    The highlighted values are the previously posted prices, all of which have changed. So, which discounts should apply to DAZ+ members?

    As soon as I wrote that it went to $3.98 list, $1.47 in the cart with a new release. Can't figure that one...

    I believe what happened is that this morning the 45% off applied to all DAZ items, including new releases. At some point during the day, someone decided that that wasn't what they wanted, and the new releases all went back to 30% off.

    Frustrating if you were in the mood for a bargain, but not the first time that something like this has happened. Maybe the title of this thread should actually be "There's Always Another Sale Glitch™".

    Still not getting the additional discounts for a second or third Select Daz Original. And prices for Featured Category Items still do not match the advertised sale. Both reported 5 hours ago.

    I'll check once more before store turnover, but it looks like Daz will be losing this sale. How about extending the expiration date of the loyalty discount coupon (orange banner) if these problems aren't going to be fixed today? Not going to use it while the prices are higher than advertised.

    Well, it's closing on turnover, and it looks like prices won't be fixed. Shouldn't Daz at least change the sales page when they're not going to honor advertised prices? If an offer was a mistake, correct the page, you know?

    Cart emptied and orange banner closed without purchase. :|

    Right. So, apart from the listed items, every other must be discounted. Under German law, that is the case; perhaps US law is different.

    Jack Tomalin said in another thread that we should take into account  that it is weekend, so i guess there is not enough staff to make and implement such decisions. BTW the category sales were very frustrating to me too. But i understand, and hope they will be repeated before the sale is over. 

    Still, i already got some great deals nevertheless, so i admit i behaved a bit unthankfully and spoiled yesterday - my apologies but unfortunately can't promise it won't happen again...

    You are right; I too have snagged some great items. 

    But something like the price chaos yesterday simply must not happen. If it was the first time discounts didn't work and prices 'magically' increased, I wouldn't say anything. But since things like this happen fairly regularly, especially at the beginning of a sale promotion, I'm starting to get angry. 

    I have to admit that so far I have been little affected compared to what can be read here on the forum, but this is also annoying.

    Totally understand, it was a very frustrating experience to me personally, too, just saying there is most likely nobody there to fix it  atm. Maybe DAZ should start events only on workdays...

    Well, I will probably only buy DAZ+FAD anyhow. And those prices seem to be solid. Plus a grabbed todays spotlight item right away before its price could go up ;-)

    As I'm not American (and I assume you are) that's not a first association I tend to have. I do see your point though in that case.

    Featured Category Items - baseline is advertised as 60% off.

    Daz+ members are supposed to be receiving an additional 45% off Daz Originals (instead of the usual 30% off) during this sale.

    Daz+ members are supposed to receive an additional 30% off Daz+ items.

    That's somewhere in the neighborhood of 87% off - right? Which is close to what we were seeing this morning.

    Same problem as yesterday. If the new higher price is correct, I would like to know why, which will help me understand future sales (and consequently post less complaints here).

    I believe this is the Featured categorry I mentioned was not working as I expected. Before I try to contact Daz does anyone else have problems with anynof the other categories?

    The (freshly) renamed "all non DAZ original items 45% off" sale still includes a shipload of DAZ+ items that are not reduced for those 45% from their DAZ+ price.

    You mean all non-new. There's 18K. I've gone through a bunch and they're 45 or higher.

    Hopefully that wasn't supposed to be the fix for Featured Category Items - they're still carting incorrectly.
