I don't think so. I'm in PC and didn't get the coupon :(
At the top, it says "we've missed you!" so either it is an incentive for people who don't spend enough or a reward for those who do. I'm not sure which.
It isn't a coupon either - it is an automatic discount if the purchase qualifies by their criteria. Of course, many of the items are PC items anyway so PC members won't be missing out too much if they don't have the promo email.

Just now finally successfully got my product but the price was 98 cents when I ordered it, but 99 cents on the invoice. :-S Go figure.
I now got the receipt from paypal but the product is still in my cart for 0.98 now.
Do you think I should contact the support?

My credit card purchase finally worked too. I noticed the $1 had become .96, so I'm wondering if they ran into some glitch where the system couldn't handle that specific amount for some reason.
I got charged for the failed purchase and the item is still in my shopping cart with a price $.66. I don't really want to pay more for something I should already have. Should I contact support and try and get a refund or are they still working on the problem and we will receive what we paid for once is fixed?
I contacted support waiting to hear from them. Certainly not paying again for the item even though its just one dollar.

I don't envy them, but I don't think there's any way back (would not be reasonable IMO) now that they have spent 3 years on the current setup. And after all, things have improved all the time and many bugs have been fixed, so I'm sure they'll make it work eventually. But maybe it would be an idea to make all the sales stuff a bit less complex (many customers are asking for this anyway), that would probably reduce the amount of potential bugs.
One bug that needs to be fixed in this case btw is that you're being charged before the order has been fully processed in the store. But I guess they're aware of that now.
I left mine in the cart too, the price is now $0.77. Think I'll check out and not bother support with the $1 I've already paid (they probably have their hands full with this issue already). $1.77 for a $13.95 item is still a great deal. :)

Is it just me or are the DAZ sales becoming a big complicated swamp these days? You wait 1 day and the sales are already gone. What a crap. Do they really expect us to log in everyday and also order prods immediately? I mean, come on, I only get paid once a month , so , DAz , please give us a break and be serious.

Finally I managed to get my purchase through the checkout a $US 0.46 but I'd still like to know what is going to happen with the 3 authorisations of $US 1.00 that are on my card. total of $AUD 3.80
I know that authorisations that aren't matched to an actual purchase do drop off eventually, but that sometimes can take a week - it depends on who the card provider is.
So hopefully DAZ will update us on the situation
The Magento store software has never been able to count when it comes to multiplying values by a discount percentage. It's not unusual for PC members to see a page of sale items, all supposed to be the same "sale plus PC discount" price, vary at random by +/- 1%. :roll:
It's a glitchor sure, I too got charged at Paypal and submitted a ticket to DAZ yesterday, but still no response. :(

So I had a few things in my cart yesterday and since the $1.00 thing wasn't working I waited till today and once it was reported working, I put FW Simona in my cart and it showed up at .77, then I got busy at work and just now came back to the store and refreshed my cart before checking out to make sure things were still working...guess what after refreshing Simona was 0.00 and was reflected in the balance of my cart, refreshed again just to be sure still 0.00 so I checked out. Whatever Daz is doing trying to correct the issue for once worked in my favor..... sorry for those who the promotion isn't working for .
