To be fair (I can't believe I'm saying this...), Daz has to have events like these SOMETIME because there are people from all over the world on this site. Having it during the day in the States is reasonable because they're based in the U.S. However, due to the fact that half their customers are sleeping during anything like this, it shouldn't be tied to a freebie. Give it to everyone or give it to no one. Fairness ;).

It would be 3:00 PM on the Pacific Coast, so California, Oregon, or Washington State, and maybe British Columbia. But what do I sign in to: Is it just to the DAZ site with my DAZ account? Or is there a specific link?
Hmmm. I am confused. The youtube page says live in 4 hours. I am in central time and I thought it would be at 5pm here??
Youtube time has been all over the place.
The emails said it would start at 4PM Daztime
Me to. It was right earlier but now it's not or if it is the time has changed
1600 is 4:00pm and 1600MT is 1700 (5:00pm) Central
Youtube told me an hour off as well earlier, it looks to have updated to the correct time for me.
I saw in the screenshot of DIM, that I am several versions behind.
I looked around at the buttons I have in DIM, but I couldn't find anything like Check for Updates.
How can I update DIM before this big announcement?

I am having this issue as well. I did some research and found that it is supposedly a false positive regarding a cookie that MW Bytes thinks is a trojan.
It started small at first; triggered by some banner ads on legitmate websites.
Recently it seems to have expanded across other sites as well.
I don't have the details handy as my notes are on the computer that was having the issues.
It is annoying though. I know the warnings pop up repeatedly.
Hmmm ... I am signed in with Google/YouTube but the name I use for that is not the one associated with my Daz account. Not even sure I have a YouTube under my real name. How will I qualify if they think it's my game character not me that's watching?
If what I was told was correct ehn it won't matter. I am in the same boat, my Youtube account email is not my Daz store account email.

The problem is things like daylight savings and local time zones that screw it up.
Just send a freebie link to everyone with Daz+ subscription because some of us will be working/s;eeping by the time this goes live.
I mean, probably the freebie is going to be some kind of a plant, but still... More flowers and sea kelps is always helpful?
Same issue with DAZ account different than Youtube.
Do you know what would eliminate the need to list any time zones?
A simple countdown to the start of any event or stream, or to the end of any time limited sale.

Also, if we are paying attention, it says "for a sneak peek" - this does NOT indicate a launch, or a release of anything, just an official heads up. Well, I guess we'll know soon enough. <trips and fatally falls down the stairs on the way to watch. Last thoughts, "Ah man, now I'll NEVER know!">
And if we all used UTC as our time, we'd still have to keep track of local day/night, unless the whole world lives by the clock rather than by day and night.
If you follow the link in the email to the live even it will tell you how much time you have left and sshow you your local time that it is occuring. I have it circled below.
Ignor the portion that says 2 hours cause Youtube is rounding. Just pay attention to the time under that.
