The "Today only" is in the title of the message/banner.
However you look at it, it's wrong. The banner says "Today only". If it was issued yesterday, then it lied yesterday, and if it's still shown today, it should work today, at least for people that didn't use it. And if you did use it, you might reasonably have expected to get another one today for Black Friday.
I cannot believe this is working as Daz intended. I'm not going to make any purchases until either the banner vanishes to confirm it's not valid, the banner works, or they issue something for Black Friday. Or a moderator clarifies what's going on!
Some people posted that they used it today.
Is CB Bryn HD supposed to be an Editorial License? I don't know my pop culture. Is it based on a real person? Kills the bundle for me. Glad I checked.

I'm still not sure though... the "today only" feels wrong. If it said "Today only" yesterday, then what is the offer today?
I think the most likely thing is they set an incorrrect expiry, which would explain people using it. But should there be an offer today? It is Black Friday after all, and I'm not seeing much in the way of exciting offers. It seems pretty much business as usual, other than there being more artists included.
I'm still reluctant to spend money in case I'm missing out on the proper offer.

Ugh. Now the Editorial License is removed from the character (Yea!) But the clothing set has it. I didn't notice that before. The Bundle didn't have it. The bundles probably shouldn't have the optional licenses listed if any of the items are tagged Editorial License.

I got a gc yesterday and I don't have a punch card pont today.
Not so much a sales issue as possibly a busy servers issue, but refresh the product pages several times before purchasing an item. Today nearly everything I selected was not showing that I already had purchased them.
Well the banner for "Today only" is still there and still doesn't work because today includes yesterday. Honestly, is this right???
I have been minimusing purchases up to now, expecting something good on Black Friday. It's very frustrating this banner was lying when it said, very, very explicitly, that it would not be valid today, because "today only" cannot be interpreted any way other than "it will be valid on the 28th and at no other time". But that wasn't true There is now no part of the world in which it is the 28th.
And now, apparently, I wasted it on a minimal purchase to get my "punch", and I I can't use it on my planned spree for Black Friday.
I see this as lying. Sorry, just my view. I'm too annoyed to spend at the moment. I'll just get the cheap shaders.
Not an official answer by any means, but in the past "puch card" sales buying a GC usually didn't count, while spending one did.
However, they are not shown as excluded from earning punches. Plus Richard suggested in a different thread that purchasing them yesterday probably would earn a punch:

The reason it doesn't work for you is probably the same as the reason it doesn't for me.
When Daz said yesterday "Today only, valid once per customer", what they really meant was "Valid for today, tomorrow, and maybe longer, and valid once per customer".
So I'm not getting 20% off the large purchase I'd planned for today. I got 20% off a small purchase I made to get a "punch". But nobody else seems too worried about it, so I think I'll just go away...

I don't see how being based on a "real person" could make a product subject to an editorial license. Real persons can't be copyrighted and, as far as I know, the purpose of an editorial license is to protect a copyright. Of course, a real person can sue either an artist or a store if he or she feels offended by his or her depiction, but this won't be based on copyright infringement but on personal damages (to image, to honor, and so on). An editorial license may have the effect of making people refrain from using the asset in a way that would lead to litigation, but this is a pragmatic and not a legal solution.
Very true. I feel mislead enough that I won't buy anything much now, as as far as I'm concerned, I was conned into using my Black Friday discount too soon by misleading advertising... but I expect I will return... for more sales that never end when they say they will.
It looks as if the Today Only for two days was a chnage of plans part way, though having used mine yesterday I can understand the annoyance. Today is set as the code's last day, however.
Actually, I may have run into that also. I had to refresh the pages as I was still seeing things I bought yesterday. Seems OK after a refresh or two. I haven't been seeing that problem lately.
If gift cards don't count as earning punches then it should be so stated on the sale page, although it isn't at the moment. Please reclarify this issue and provide corrections as necessary.

The character was fixed (switched from Editorial to Standard; Thanks!) but if the clothing was meant to be an Editorial License then I'll skip the bundle and just buy the character.

We did point it out, and it is almost certainly a mistake, but obviously the US holiday is liable to delay things.

It didn't work for me on a Golden Ticket Item, but it applied to another item in the cart, saving me about 70 cents. I decided to save the coupon in case a better deal came along...
Something to watch out for: all the items in my cart (including today's Holidaz deal and Daz+ releases) have the one punch properly applied, but an item that was in my Lightning Deals hasn't. Actually, I just put all 4 of them and the price remained unchanged, so it seems that the punches might not be applied to Lightning Deals? I'm not going to complain about $~0.30 difference for that particular item, but it might be something worth checking and reporting if it affects more people. I'll check again tomorrow.
