I'm gonna complain about recent lack of tentacles.

tentacle monsters need love too :)

hmmm, maybe even they like drive-in movies

I thought I was at the drive-in with a tentacle monster, but it was just my date with roaming hands.

Did you know that Disney movies tend to be full of inaccuracies. They should be taken for entertainment value only. Take the Disney cartoon image of Captain John Smith and compare it to the images based on the real man. Nemo would not have survived many scenes of his movie. I could go on and on and on.

I had forgotten that expression. Yep, that describes quite a few guys I dated.

I wonder if they have bathrooms, and how they work if they do have them.

This may be a story for News 7! They are scripting a FULL episode with several storys! They may call you and interview you live over the phone lol

Just to be clear I blame no User. I do not even blame the PA that turned my hair into a new item for females. It is all DAZ's fault.

I will agree if News 7 will hold the interview in the STUPID thread which I have chosen as my battle ground.

People need to Complain in this thread not get stupid.

    .
Also anyone know how to cure a noticeable polygon phong angle issue with D|S when using some morphs at extreme settings? (By this I mean the morph is turned up pretty high, and each individual polygon is seen.)
    .
I know in C4D this happens if the Phong tag is deleted or the angle limit is reduced and shading gets less smooth, but I've never once had it happen to me just by turning up a morph or seen it happen in D|S before. (The model in question is the Digi-I Rex and the "Full Belly" morph.)

Agreed. And yes, it will be posted on the stupid thread... News7 can be very stupid sometimes :-P

They will need a larger render of Jaderails bald avatar :)

Raise the subdivision level if you can, otherwise adjust crease angles where you can, otherwise a strategically targeted displacement or bump map might get you out of trouble with stretchy polys, is best to avoid them really.

I'm not asking for myself though I'm asking for another artist who still seems to be reluctant about joining in on this thread (He is doing a lot of the same sort of thing I do, so maybe he's worried he'll get picked on?)

I doubt he'd have any idea what I'd be talking about if I pasted your response in without pictures or something to go along with it XD
As for the second half... The Digi-I Trex (And Garee's RexPLUS add-on) does not have a displacement map at all, only a bump map. As for strethy polygons... As I said I've never once seen this happen outside of Cinema4D. They're not really stretching any more than they should be, as the morph he's using was only set to 1.00 at the time.
I myself don't see this sort of thing unless I delete the Phong tag on the model or set its angle to an absurdly low value like 8* or 5*

There are interesting scripts around for generating office windows and furniture etc in large CAD models of buildings as well :)

Yeah I saw something like that on Lightwave's website. I don't think it was a free plugin though o_o

Is a different league, you prefer scripts that are maintained for production work. On the scale of things fifty or a hundred or so bucks is small change in a production environment so ppl are comfortable paying what is comparatively a very small amount (like for example for Rhiggit) You can see the angst caused when popular plugins go dark, ppl want to pay double or triple (they say) to maintain their previously robust workflows, those attitudes filter up to management and some managers I know won't go near free stuff, having been burned by version incompatibilities disrupting workflows before. On the other hand there may be PhD's lurking around the office who can rewrite a thousand lines of code before lunch, and some places do very well out of open source.
