    mermaid - thank you.

Just moved the camera nearer to the central mountain in the Lonesome Wanderer scene and changed textures on the terrain, created clouds with a texture and swapped the HDRI. Just to show Jay that I came back to earth and the mountain actually resembles the Matterhorn.

Super, Horo, that peak goes on forever and ever - its top is nicely framed against the natural blue sky 'peeking' through (I'm obviously biased in hope, but I defintely see a figure of a guy/gal at its top). It certanly would be a peak to climb, though cool

PS. Just a silly, general off-topic comment: I use the colour red in reference of member names to note recogniton, that I read your comments...you know what I mean wink

Horo - really nice render, I think it will make a great anaglyph.wink

Two more abstracts, using the same Hdri of one of my renders which I exported as an Hdri. The first Abstract I used the method described by David here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/53147/show-us-your-bryce-renders-part-9/p48  . For the 2nd one I used spheres and tori

mermaid - I ought to experiment with that, too. Two really beautiful abstracts, the first looks 2D like a painting, the second 3D and I like how it looks symmetrical in parts and other parts not.

I mentioned earlier that i had finished my model, i decided to test how well it would bridge over to Bryce...im happy with the result :)

Tim - that looks very nice in the fog.

The same stacked terrains as on page 94 (near the end) but without the towers, one texture colours changed on one terrain and other camera, sun and cloud locations. Added the anaglyph for fun.

Horo - thanks. Awesome render, one of the best Bryce waterfalls I've seen. The anaglyph is superb.

    Tim - very nice render

    Love the first one, Mermaid.

Super, Tim: did a 'mushroom-picking', day-out course at one time, and while got an idea as to those eatible/poisonous, I'd defintely not pick on this one as I'm sure a 'curse' would follow devil

Super misty effect (off-centred, looks like) at the base of the waterfall - Horo, and the anaglyph gives great depth, too.

May be a bit lame, but did a render some time back about the dutch character, Ruther Hauer, from the classic 'Blader Runner' movie, who has sadly passed away...RIP.

"I've...seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attacked ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those...moments will be lost...in time, like...tears...in rain. Time...to die".

Not very colourful, I'm always surprised what can be done directly in Bryce. The cliffs and clouds were rendered with specular method. The anaglyph is mostly the same. Both were a bit contrast enhanced and sharpened in post.

Horo - Two awesome renders, you always show how versatile Bryce is. The Anaglyph is superb

A Photoshop height map which was manipulated in the TE. Lighting is from one of Horo’s skies and an anaglyph which took a bit of a challenge to get right, I'm happy with the results.smiley

mermaid - thank you. Very interesting rough terrain. Anaglyph looks great, too.

I see some interesting works again! Maybe I'll be able to work on something myself again later.

Wow, the two anaglyphs look super: Horo...it almost looks like a pen&ink; and Mermaid...couldn't be better - love the chunky terrain (I claim all rights for that terrain title cheeky).

    Jay - thank you.

I couldn't help to experiment with the sketch version above. Double stacked terrain with different materials. HDRI is only light, no sun. Image based light is base light of image cheeky

So much great images to look at, too much to comment separately.

Tim82, Jamahoney, Horo, akmerlow( and anyone I forgot), a bit late but thanks for the wishes to get better. I've still a long way to go but Bryce has got me starting slowly !

  • Horo - beautiful  landscape, especially like the water.

  • HansmarHansmar Posts: 2,929

Horp: great render, full of light and wonderful landscape.

  • adbcadbc Posts: 3,115

Horo : the sketch version adaptation is awesome, the atmosphere, the water  ..... excellent.

  • HoroHoro Posts: 10,642

    adbc - thank you.

    Hansmar - thank you.

Dan - thank you. Yes the high saturated water colour: there is a mirror plane a bit below the transparent water surface. I was surprised how much that changed the saturation.

This scene, “E Street Plaza”, was originally created in 2014 for a “Bryce only” Renerosity forum challenge. I was just going to re-render it at a larger size (was 650x480) but ended up redoing much of the scene.

Figures from DAZ3D and Sky HDRI by Horo. All otter objects are Bryce primitives.

Illuminated by the Sun and Sky HDRI.

About 1.5 hours to render at 64RPP, TA enabled.

Full size image can be found here:

    Thanks for taking a look!

Nice scene, Dan, but for me there is too much noise in the render.
