what i wenr thru to getto beaclair at lvl 23. had to skip the intro bandit fight, reloaded game twice, 3rd try ko'd took the 2nd conversation option.

so i knew to use ogroid oil in the giant fight. omg ko'd 9 times in a row. no bombs or signs did any damage to him. it was quen, roll away, was too fast couldnt rend, whole fight was fast attack. wondering if thw game felt sorry for me and let me win on the 8th reload.
at the river guilliom ran off to fight the lvl 35 not-drowner critters, scryvers? tried to help the fight but tkey ko's me with 2 swipes. but thereno baddies in the water, found the handkercheeef. started riding away something triggered, guilliam must've took care of em all,cuz they disappeared, was able to finish witcher sensibg the tracks.
rode right into beauclair. got 480 xpoints for the balls of granite quest. 100xp for the taunting fight with mancomb.
found purple armor dye. hoping to find pink to dye the cat gear tee hee
Well, I was at lvl39 at that time, equipped fully with master quality gear..... that sure helps. It really pays off to finish those side-quests that gives you 'access' to the people crafting them. And in Touissant, well, beter make sure you do get the 'Grandmasters' help..... you'll need that grandmaster gear......
(If you don't have any master quallity gear diagrams, you can still get a grandmaster qualIty set, there's a new set of gear available to be crafted. From the school of the manticore, if you find the diagrams, that is..... Better start looting... you'll need the gold!!!)

gave the forge to the lady armorer at crow's perch. now she wants acid from an archgriffin. witcher's work is never done.
Ahh, yes, Vigi, thread lightly in that cave, avoid the snow, and get the key.... well easier said then done, also failed to save him in my 1st play....
(On a side note, if you would have saved him, he might have gotten the chance to get the name he desires - NOT Vigi the Loon

theres 4 new saddles for roach to choose from, same stats. dunno which one
... or you could win a new saddle .....

defeated the arch griffin. armor for competing the forge quest is lvl 27.
my Geralt hit lvl 24 about 3am.

so the armor dye only works on witcher gear.
i found the enhanced cat, but havent found clues for the superior.
i have the diagrams for superior ursine, bt not the enhanced >.<

I did 'choose' to do the quest with Hjalmar in one of my plays.... It will make clear where those 'Bearserkers' came from, but will not reveal the real culpritt.... who will stay unsentenced then......
As for clues to the witcher armours; best ask any smith/armourer you encounter; they sometimes have and sell (one of the) maps needed....

For that price, I'd say get the HoS expansion.... I didn't really get to use the new runes (they come at too high a price, literally.... better save your coin for the grandmaster outfit in B&W). The new quests however are nice, allbeit that the new 'main' quest is a rather dark one. Still, there are some funny moments in it; the wedding party fun alone is worth the price in my opinion.....
Not sure if it is also 'working' in the xbox version, but on PC, there's a glitch in White Orchard which enables you to make quite alot of coin in an unintended way..... (I must admit that I never tried that myself). If you did then with the HoS expansion, there's the change that 'The tax-man cometh.......'

Ermmmm, you got me puzzled... far as I know, you've got to complete the 'bruxa' quest 1st before you even get to speak to the duchess??? (and get the house)
Anyway, lvl34 should be sufficient, but you'd better have your black blood potion and moondust bombs at the ready.... doesn't hurt to have vampire oil as well
. If you want to play B&W, I do consider these to be must have items.......
is fighting the shalmar optional?

defeated the elementa in the house shakes quest. i could not figure out how to open the door. had to search it >.< then i couldnt figure out how to down the shield.
kept examinging the magic stick. was a total decoy, magic stick did nothing.
started the Triss quest last night to save the mages. i missed her. there be some decisions here that could effect who is going to show up at geralt's villa at the end. i like Shani, like Triss, but i think Geralt prolly be happiest with Yennifer. liked Keira too. Keira and Lambert?

And if you ever read the books, chances are you will stop liking Triss. I mean, sure she's a war hero and all that, but on a personal level, well... maybe she just hit all the wrong buttons with me, but I know it's not just me.

As to priscilla, take good note of what the doctor and the coroner say to each other...... you will understand later - or not if you mis-interpret their talk.....

BTW, it's your play of course, but the "Priscilla' quest is just one of those quests that you really should play all parts in succession; no sidequests or sidestepping... IMO that would ruin the whole feel of that quest...
the runewright in hearts of stone can also add sockets to swords and armor.
most valuable runes, to me, are the ones that let you change the weight of all armor components. so, for instance, you can wear bear school armor with all its stats and bonuses, and still have your cat school or griffin school skills apply.

So I've got all 3 Witcher games :) but haven't played the first 2 yet :O
I got Witcher 3 with both expansions for x-mas last year and I've just gotten to the end of the Blood and Wine quest "The beast of Toussaint"
I really should not have been so cocky. I'm trying to fight Bruxa at level 21 and she's really kicking my butt! LOL
