witcher 3 sundae
lvl 17 didn't feel like going musty old caves, don't have catgear armor.
whupping bandits, clearing abandoned villages
rescuing persons in distress.
superhero stuff. 4 beasties i couldn't defeat. lvl 15 waterhag guarding treasure, lvl 20 gravehag. gargoyle chucking rocks, ekimara in byways reloaded like 5 times - gave up on it, cleared the byways ghouls had to run away to regain health but eventually gottem all, was a fiend didn't feel like going in a cave.
raining in velen, and was raining outside in r/l, was surreal feelin. the alt yrden very handy fighting bandits gives a protective shield against projectiles tee hee finally figured out how to roll in combat dbl tap A figured it out by accident, dbl tap A on roach makes him gallop.
roachie so cute, he wanders over to water troughs or sweet hey treats while he's waiting. got for him the best saddle bags i could find sold by the merchant by the beggar king area.

i don't like to leave roach by himself on the road. i ride him into a village so he can eat hey and drink water, then run back on foot to the monster nest or bandit location. using fast track alot, don't want poor roach riding around in the rain.
tee hee. i used igni on beehive and accidentally hit some villagers. was feared i killed them, but they were just knocked over, they all got up again.
dropping my new game plus playthrough and starting a new game from scratch.
geralt stopped levelling up three-quarters of the way through blood and wine, for some reason. and that's just no fun...
hoping to reach level 2 before i have to fight any drowner packs.

dont think b&w will be doable under a minimum lvl 40
clearing lvl 47 monster infested caves was giving like 120 xpoints >.<
ooo came upon a nice silver sword just happened to be lvl 17, i'se lvl 17
east of oxenfurt, i was checking out the question marks on my map.
there was a bandit camp with person-in-distress, was an Elf they had prisoner.
i defeated the bandits, found the key, felt guilty bout leaving the elf in the cage while i was looting, so i stopped looting to let him out.
he said to find him at his camp for a reward. the elven camp from the spooked mare quest didn't have a map marker. afraid i'd never find it later, so i immediately followed the elf all the way to his camp.
he was selling a silver sword, was +46 over the griffin silver sword i had.
lucky i had crowns, the sword cost like 3,100 crowns, the elf had only 240 crowns on him, so i wouldn't have been able to sell stuff to make the 3,100. after i bought the sword, was able to sell him stuff.
+46 what a difference. only thing is i'm not getting the +20% xp from monsters the griffin sword attribute.
new sword i defeated a cyclops, my first elemental, a cave troll (cave troll liver), a whyvern. wyvern was guarding superior ursine diagrams.
new sword made my geralt the confidence to return to some trouble spots. there was a village, think it was carlsten, they had ghouls trapped in a barn, wasn't able to defeat them at lvl4 lol.
went back to take care of it, the barn doors were open and the brothers weren't there, but the ghouls were still there. ghouls are ogroids, (doh), thought they were necrophages.
cockatrice north of novingrad dropped a cockatrice stomach. dunno if can respawn the cockatrice? need another stomack to upgrade the oil.
found a cave troll liver, the crossroads sign down in the ancient oak map area, south of it is more bandits. was by a lil brown bridge. my geralt mediated there cause my potions and bmbs were used up. woke up to the sound of rocks. it was a troll. i approached it without my sword out, cuz so far the trolls i've met were nice. this one attacked me straightaway.
a lil north of the same crossroad sign were endrigas. the big one dropped arachnas venom, needed that to upgrade was either swallow or tawny owl.
needed white gull to brew the upgrades. cherry cordial is hard to come by. mediated like 3 times by the inn in oxenfurt before innkeep restocked his cherry cordial. when my geralt talks to the innkeep, he's like 'oh it's you'. rude >.<

ProjektRed has modding tools you could extract the mesh and textures and dress G3M in them but only for PC
yeah. has witcher2 on pc. difficult to use the keyboard to fight. i mousey left hand.
i'se like 30 + hours into witcher 3, finally starting to make some sense of combat. dbl tap A to roll.
trick to defeating the elemental and the troll and the cyclops, never stand still. igni doesn't do anything to bandits with shields, have to roll behind them. geralt is merciless on them, didn't understand at first, but some steel swords attributs has +10% chance to dismember. i carry 2 secondary swords, swords wear down pretty fast, is cheaper on geralt's purse to carry backup swords than to keep buying repair kits. though, spent 700 crowns on saddlebags to carry extra weight. never know when a fast travel won't be available, can't always nip back for repairs.
read some heated discussions on roll vs dodge. lol
luv the alt Yrden sign. protects my geralt from arrows, and sends out zaps. they screaming f words when they zapped. tee hee
was strolling by the bards, bard was sayin he stuck in a rut. lol. this other pedestrian asks me if i washed my hair. in soldier areas, is always one farting and lauging at his farts. pam pam pa ram

i been playing gwent with the blacksmith in oxenfurt. lose a lot, hard to beat monster deck, i'se 3 unit cards short of a full monster deck.
think i decided on a game capture gizmo. record all the cutie stuff Roach does.

eventually imagining i won't be able to upgrade the Freya Warrior armor. is my favorite look for geralt. so far, i go visit the armor in heirarch square and he has the next level of the armor waiting.

btw - the cockatrice north of novingrad did re-spawn. was able to brew superior draconid oil.
didn't check yet, hoping the cave troll re-spawns.
that just leaves needing the eyrnia eye for the enhanced hybrid oil.
prolly will need another eye for the superior hybrid oil
hoping to find a ernia with the harpies.
haven't found or come across a steel sword as awesome as the elven silver sword.
the 2nd cockatrice fight went much easier, enhanced draconid oil helped.
about ready to try the journey to skellige again.
and ready for another go at the cat school armor, think was a golem. read there's a ghost of a cat school witcher guarding the armor. fighting another witcher, even a dead one, prolly has quen.

should stash it. they don't let you preview the armor looks before buying it.
It's the original Polish name of all Geralt's horses (who have historically all been female horses). Płotka (note the special "l" pronounced like "w" in English) is a Polish word for Roach (the fish kind of roach, not the insect, just in case the game doesn't make it clear).

This is one of those quest were the decisions you make do have an effect later on in the game (could even be more than one moment), although the effects are minor....
There are 2 goals in 'Menge's lair'; Dandelion's wereabouts and info on Dijkstra's treasure.
What info you get wil depend on how you react to the witchhunters and/or Menge, and what questions you ask Menge (if you get that far...
)
You can be the 'galant hero' and completely ignore Triss' plan once you're inside the witch hunters quarter, but this means a hell of a fight, and a second quest to get the needed info on Dandelion. Dijkstra will be 'not amused' as you don't get any info on his treasure, but Triss will not really get hurt..... (and will also be not really happy... though also not mad at you...)
Play along with Triss' plan, and she will get hurt. How much wil depend on how long you will endure .....
. But then you do get the chance to talk to Menge. Your reaction to Menge and the questions you ask him will determine what info you will get (Dandelion, treasure or none). There is a chance you may be able to leave the place with a minimal of fighting, but it is tricky, and before you know it, you will still have that big fight... (good training moment for dodging 
)
If you get info on the treasure, Dijkstra wil be a little less furious, and he might give you some help later on (for now, it is still wise to keep Dijstra as an ally...)
No matter the choices you make, in the end you will know were to find Dandelion....

i hit lvl 19! found an easy place of power in skellige.

played the menge scene twice. went with the where's dandelion option.
really regretting not picking the treasure option, i think picking the treasure option would have left the spy quest open? actually, geralt didn't deal with menge, Triss did.
Triss a pretty potent sorceress but the Yen and Triss gwent cards are only 7 points.
won the Ciri card from a scoiatel elf.
and finally! enough monster cards for a deck.
helped Vernon with his Vess problem.
saw the guy with cart of plague corpses, thought i flubbed that one, does it respawn?
just kinda darted in/out of Skellige. found 2 ernias i needed to make enhanced hybrid potion.
found 1 more cave troll liver for ... forget which potion.
tried to fight a lvl 20 leshan, had to run for geralt's life.
i put 2 points into the undying tile in the red section. didn't help with the leshan fight.
now has 3 potions of clearing in reserve.

the blue tiles give a stamina regeneration boost.
the red ones boost adrenalin.
don't have enough lesser red mutagens to make a greater red.
i had 2 greater blues set in my character page, was giving me 60% sign intensity.
took out a greater blue and now using 1 red and 1 lesser red, giving me 28% + 10% attack power.
came in handy going into Est Taiyer to find Phillipa. the eternal fire dudes attacked when Geralt didn't hand them the megascope crystal. quest journal gave an option to give the crystal to Triss or Radavid. gave it to Radavid for the reward. mebbe giving it to Triss mighta been worth xpoints, too late to redo it now, did the play after that.
did the quest for lambert, he was angry at geralt, but he was still willing to play gwent.
helped the Puffins in the Bits. spared Karadin.
need 1 more cave troll liver, 1 last oil left to upgrade to superior. unless there's more oil diagrams to find.
really want to render gwent cards
yep... treasure option gives the 'spy' quest..... and may give a little more support from Dijkstra further on in the questline - on more then one occasion - (if you're wanting it....).

, got sidetracked by an other (somewhat older) rpg, that I've been playing since 11-11-11
