Complaint: going to be too too hot to go out this weekend so I'm stuck indoors, hiding from the Big Bright Thing(tm) as it breaks 100f for the first time this year. {(baked fish emote) So uch for going to Bikinis got wings and beer served by bikini-clad waitresses!(crying face) AND my dang hamstrings and legs are sore, apparently things atrophied more than I thought so I'm effectively having to re-train for distance walking.. and ugh, physical therapist visit today as well. Meh.

Non-complaints: Paid on time, the amount expected! W00t, everything is going according to plan. I cna pay rent, repay a loan, eat well, have money to have wings delivered Saturday. *and* have some content money left to load up on shaders!!! Hard to beat that...

I guess since it's decided to be hot & my legs have decided to be problem children, staying home this weekend is for the best. The ini-mart that carries a HUGE selection of microbrews is 4 blocks off, over and back on Saturday will make sure I get my weekend exercise.. I need to keep up a slow, steady exercise regimen until I get my strength back. I'll make lemonade out of lemons and spend the time writing, learning shaders, and doing a few character studies for Argentum Noctis and The Vicky Chronicles. (smile)

I want my dang emotes back! Cry faceeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I hope you get some cooling wet stuff from the sky. I can't sleep at night if it's over 78f, I just lay there and bemoan my fate... (sad face)

We got rain, yeah, but the air did not cool much. However, there's still thunder buzzing about, so that may change.

Ugh - I can afford 2 items from Daz and one from Rendo... need to work on my wishlists.. which to choose..

Shaders fromDaz, for sure. Maybe the coffin or a demon or monster from Rendo...

    Think, thank, thunk. (blank face)

2-1/2 hours until I leave for the doc and physical therapy. Meh.

*edit* Bought Shades of Life Shaders, Metalized Glass Shaders, and Ignis Serpentis Phantoms. All useful in my Webcomic projects!!*

*edit 2: Bought a Banshee, Hunter Fiend, Demonic Morphs for Genesis, and steampunk textures for a southern dress from Rendo*

I sacrificed some weekend party money to get stuff for my projects.. sigh.. I am sooooo lame. (blank face)

*edit 3* Wow, those life shader things are 500MB+ *each download*!!!! (aaaah face)*

Yet another stupid Seattle Mariners game ( the 4th day in a row). It's really bad when this occurs on Sundays as this station also takes 2 hours of prime time to broadcast a bunch of boring public affairs shows that have little if anything to do with sports.

There is wall to wall cricket on our TV sometimes. Pity us.

Probably better than NASCAR. I just don't get the attraction. Watching these cars go round and round and round and round...for four, five or six hours! I'd be bored out of my mind after about a dozen laps! I think people just watch it hoping to see a really bad accident...somebody on fire, or body part flying...or car parts flying into the audience, which seems to happen more often lately.

    It pre-empts everything!

Other than take pictures of her while she sat on my bed? Not much.

A few more photos from about the same time (I think these were actually a bit earlier? Not sure... Timestamps got deleted so I can't tell.)

Blech, pollen, kaff kaff kafffffffffffffffffffff~ (coughing emote)

I've tried to program myself to dream of specific people (female) but all I end up with is shape-shifting demons.. and there's nothing more disconcerting than to be in the middle of a make-out session with a woman that suddenly melts into something non-sexy and Giger-esque! (terrified face emote)

Does make for great story ideas.. sigh.

OK, in the first one she looks interested in something. I think I know what happened, if these were earlier...she was tiring of the photo shoot and wondering when you would stop. (laughing smiley)

Aaahhhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooooooooo UNDEAD ON SALE! (cry cry cry)

    Got this: http://www.daz3d.com/zombie-for-genesis-and-m4

Then saw the perfect character and goodies to be the Demon Queen in Argentum Noctis:

    http://www.daz3d.com/azraella

No more money for onoine purchases.. all gone now! (cry cry cry)

Well, I have plenty to keep me busy now! (chortle) I was having a hard time finding a good character to be Andaranel (succubus demon queen) for Argentum Noctis, so that's taken care of.. needed some cannon fodder zombies, so the Genesis Zombie textures will provide a nice set of roving undead for me.

...I'd find that more enjoyable than listening to these overpaid perennial losers.

BTW big breaking scandal up here in baseball with 20 players, several of them major stars, being cited for using PFEs. Lots of long suspensions possible. Unfortunately they get to keep their big contracts intact so they still get paid for in full while taking an "enforced sabbatical". For the rest of us if we were charged with something similar, we'd not only most likely lose our jobs, but end up in jail, pay hefty fines, and after we get out, have a tough time getting hired by someone else.

...used to be a day when if one got "the call", it fulfilled a lifelong dream for one who loved the game. Free agency with players having agents to lobby for lucrative contracts, moving from one team to another if they don't get what they (or their agent) likes, has ruined everything.

There is no more "love of the game" it's now all love of the almighty $.

Yep. She got to the point where the attitude says, "When are you going to get that camera out of my face?" with just a touch of "whatever". LOL

...next to the NFL it is the biggest spectator/revenue sport here in the States. To think it has it's roots in rum running during prohibition. My kind or racing is F-1 and GTP/Can Am where drivers actually have to drive the car on a real road course rather than just go around in circles ad nauseum.

Speaking of going around in circles, playing around with SSS as I have the SubSurface Toolbox installed. It does make it a bit easier to understand as it includes a large number of presets (like various skin, hair and cloth settings) to start with which lets you see what controls do what.. It also breaks down the process with separate presets for Subsurface Scattering, Specularity, Velvet, Shadow Colour, Bump, as well as presets for Refraction Index, Shading Rate and Shading Scale. Lots of test rendering, but rendering to a small size (600 x 600) which lets me see details yet doesn't take long to process on my beastie.

Don't you have Lorenzo LoRez? That package has zombies, and bloody clothing textures. And they're low resolution figures, so you can get a bunch of them in a scene.

You know, you'd think by now that they'd learn their lesson. Especially those who have been in the spotlight for steroid use in the past, like A-Rod. I think they should all be fired and banned, they've had enough warnings about it. This is like saying, "For your punishment you have to take a long vacation...with pay, millions of dollars of pay! So there!"

There's no more "sport" in sports anymore. They cheat, they whine, they goof off, they start fights on the playing field. They're a bunch of losers...except those who love the sport and pay to watch are really the ones that lose. I'm not a huge fan, but I like to watch the Red Sox sometimes. I don't go overboard like some fans do, though.
