    OK, there is an easy way to do this and I was wrong. Baby 8 & Dog 8 aren't Genesis Core Figures according to DAZ 3D themselves.

    Since they decided not to do Genesis 9 this year, we still have at least one more Halloween before the new figure line comes out, so... maybe we'll see Lilith 8? I hope so, at least.

    Dog 8 has a few figures based on Dog 8, so I'd argue it's a core character at least, even though there isn't a dedicated bundle.

    For context had Penelope and Simon in the Lovable Nerds Bundle, but both of those were for Genesis 3, not Penelope 7/Simon 7.

    Strange note: The 'Callie and Cory in Space' bundle doesn't include Callie 6 or Cory 6, it includes Ryder for Genesis 3, and Georgy for Callie 6.  I'm sure there's a backstory to that, but I wasn't a Daz customer back then.

    Anyways, my point is, the Daz sales team has been VERY specific about the Figure 8 nomenclature.  Only 'core' figures get to be named Figure 8.  Otherwise, it's a 'Figure for Genesis 8', even though technically almost ALL generation 8 figures are for Genesis 8.  So this month we either saw two 'core' figures or four 'core' figures, the latter of which would be unprecedented as far as Genesis 8 releases go.

    Call it however you want, but this one's a bit murky.

    I think that might have been changed. I seem to remember them being "Caryn 8" and "Tobyn 8" (however my memory is pretty bad) - but there are a lot of PA releases that also suggests that it might have been changed, like: Gage for Tobyn 8, Small World for Caryn 8 HD and Tobyn 8 HD, Mara HD for Caryn 8, Ella for Caryn 8, dForce Flower Set Outfit for Caryn 8, etc etc. I'm pretty sure they changed it.

    Well, my guess is Kala 8 if the major boo-boo in the store earlier is any indication (who would be Sanjay's counterpart I imagine).

    Yup. A character for her got into the newsletter as well. 

    And somehow the store is loonier than usual today. One of the "new release" items is a gen4 character that's been around for yonks (L75 Hillary). While Khory's new shader set is MiA.

    I think that rogue old item showed up because of the attempted fix to remove "Aakash HD" from the store.  The "fix" also seems to have removed the "Gummy Shader Presets" from the new release promo page.

    That's unnecessarily convoluted, I think - Gummi Shaders has SKU 60769, L75 Hilary is 6076, the the final 9 was probably missed when filling in the page details.

    Yes, almost certainly Kala 8 will be next. Not absolutely guaranteed, but almost certain.

    Where did you get that from? I’m not saying those character will definitely happen as I have no idea, but Daz still has more than enough time for them to be released at some point...

    They could also give us Scott 7 (after all, occasional G3 content does come out, and it can *always* come out - technically. Nothing is stopping them), but at some point you realize it's not going to happen....

    Next is probably Elithia. One of her add-on characters escaped and had to be dragged back into storage. So one would expect her to be imminent, even if her (probably) partner hadn't just reached the store.

    I saw Diego 8 fits on one of the products in Elios' Pro Bundle.

    "Diego" is the name the Spanish used to replace "Jacob" after they expelled/force converted the Jews in 1492, similar to the English "James," which supplanted "Jacob" in the New Testament subsequent to one of the English's Jewish expulsions.
