    To answer the question, though, Map Transfer can do that.

    It is most common that the eye fix is included directly in the morph injection pose. You may want to uncheck to transfer "Morphs" in the Presets tab when translating an eye fix pose. Otherwise, the preset will also set morphs if they were transferred individually.

    Also, you may want to use the morphs under Eyes / Generation X / ** Fix ** to move the iris a bit forward and the pupil a bit backward to get the eyes correct. From the way the eyes are modelled in Genesis 2, it's not unlikely to get this kind of poke-through for iris or pupil with transferred morphs, that's why I included these fix morphs.

    Still not working, I have tried other Thorne characters and they too have the bulging eyes, with the previous version of GenX I successfully tranferred a thorne character, including the eyefix. I have tried with GF2 and Genesis. Has anyone else tried tranfering a thorne character successfully?

    I am sorry for the trouble. I have no idea why I am not getting it. As far as I know I haven't had any problems with emails. I get about 50 a day. My phone let's me know of new messages and I check both regular folder as well as spam folder. I have been doing tech support with Smith Micro and all of that comes in spam folder as well as Daz Ads so I am really aware of looking all over the place. I just can't tell you why I didn't get it. This is strange to me. I haven't had this happen before.

    I'll PM you with 2 alternate emails if you want to try one more time. I just hate that this is taking up your time. I value people's time greatly.

    Fun with some oldies from the back of my digital closet - Valentin 3d's Kimiko V4 looks great transferred to G2F, but I was totally blown away by how well Grotto's amazing Insectoid for M4 converted to G2M.

    ok, just to make sure I get this right...if I want to transfer A3 morphs to Genesis (NOT genesis 2) I will also need this add on:

    I'm about to get the upgrade from the original program to the upgraded program....I will NEED to get the upgrade to use the A3 addon, is that correct? I can't use the A3 addon with the ORIGINAL version?

    When you buy the A3/H3 addon you get both the GenX1 and GenX2 versions. The GenX2 version has improved algorithms -- it isn't just for Genesis 2. But the A3/H3 addon can be used with the original version if you do not get the new version.

    Having an issue with the transferred icons getting cut off. They're not being resized to fit 91x91like in the old version they're being cropped instead, which... makes it pretty hard to see what's going on, especially for expressions. This is i13's Animal Instinct expression pack. As you can see the resulting crop.... isn't very informative.

    ...wow that looks great. I wonder how Dariofish's Alien morphs for Genesis would work with G2F/G2M.

    Kharma: I tried Mulberry myself to be sure. When transferring morphs as "Create single morph", it is highly recommended to set "Show in list" to "all controlled morphs" to prevent some morphs missing in transfer because they are not listed. In this particular case, the eyes have the realistic morph set, but because it is controlled by the body and head morph usually, it is not listed otherwise.

    Without these morphs, I get the same result as you. With these morphs included, it's much better (left image), but still requires a bit of adjustments (right image). First, I set "move pupils back" to 0.5 to get rid of the black circle in the eyes. Second, I scaled the eyes to 95% and set zTranlate to -0.1 and xTranslate to 0.7 (right eye) / -0.7 (left eye).

    temporal.ranger: I'm pretty sure that this was the same in GenX1, but I'll change it to resize images if they are not in 91x91 format.

    @D3D: thank you so much for testing Mulberry, as soon as I can I will try your settings . I was getting close to what you did on the left, but was still missing something in my settings. Looks awesome! I knew it would be possible ... fantastic program!

    Once the morphs have been loaded, right-click in the transfer window and you will get a menu with the "Show in list" options.

    Thank you cayman, I found it now didn't know you could right click...I feel like such a dummy getting this morph transferred, altho others I did of thorne's did have the eye fix inj also.

    I'm not sure what the benefit would be, as Genesis is more versatile for alien-type stuff than the G2s. I'd try it just to see, but weirdly I can't seem to find the folder with the HFS morph poses. I moved all my runtimes a while back and apparently I put the Hellfish folder in some bizarre place where they're working as sliders but I can't see the stand-alone morphs... Very strange...

    That said, the Insectoid's more complex than any of the HFS shapes, so I'd think the transfer should work just as well if not better. Thus far the only real problems I've come across have been in applying Gen2 poses on some of the converted figures, as the hands tend to go a little wonky. Resetting with Slosh's Handy Dandy has fixed everything so far though.

    Hi Dimension 3D,

    I'm sure I missed something on transfering expressions from V4 to Genesis 2 Male/Female with GenX2 Preset. I tried to transfer some expressions from V4 to Genesis and they are working very well but didn't succeed on transfering V4 morphs to Genesis2 male/female. I see that the V4 expressions are transfered but when I click on them nothing is happening on the Genesis2 figure. I tried with both Genesis 2 Male and Female and none of them seems to work. I'm sure I missed something.


    By the way, thank you so much for your fantastic GenX2. I'm very very happy with it.

    I didn´t know that we could transfer expressions too! Cool! :)

    I have a quick little question ... Apparently I have not installed the old genx in this computer. I installed daz studio to my new computer and forgot to install the old genx .. lol so it's like I never had the plugin. Probably a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. No need to delete anything and I can now install the new genx2, right? :) But I'll need to put the serial again, correct?

    The thread is long, so I'm sorry if I missed this.

    I bought the new GenX plus the X2 update, installed via DIM on this laptop, and activated using the code from my account. Now when I create a Gen X tab there is no Source button (like the one in the manual pictures) for choosing to transfer to G2. What's going on?

    Yes! Uninstall GenX and GenX add-ons.
